Friends! Today ANDREW TURNS 40 YEARS OLD!!!
Awwwwwww! Happy birthday, babe!! I sure do love you!!!
I am really, really excited to see what this decade has to offer Mr. Shull. I feel like Andrew has never not been “in his prime”, but for sure, these last few years, I’ve been even more blown away by his dedication to his family, his friends, his work…he’s just in his groove and the happiest I’ve ever seen him.
Here’s to my main man on his BIG day! We cannot wait to celebrate him all weekend long!
Now, there is NOTHING Andrew would want more on his birthday than it NOT be about him, but BE ABOUT JESUS!!
Friends, it’s also GOOD FRIDAY today!
I say this every single year, but you know I mean it from the bottom of my heart. I love all of the “fluff” of the holidays. I love the food, the fellowship with friends and family and all of the “extra” things that go along with them, but I believe you also know that THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IN MY LIFE IS MY RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS.
One day when I die, I hope I’m remembered as someone who loved her family (and encouraged adoption!) and who got up every day trying to live for Jesus.
If you do not know Jesus as your Lord and Savior, and have any questions about your faith, my faith, or whatever, please feel free to email me. I’d be happy to reach back out with a word of encouragement and also share a bit about why I put my faith in Jesus Christ. You can email me here: email@example.com
If you’re looking for a church service to watch this Sunday from home, I wanted to give you two choices. Of course, you can watch my church’s service at firstmckinney.com at 7, 8:30, 9:45 and 11 AM (it will be live) or you can watch it recorded any time after that or another church I really like to watch online when I can is Southeast Christian Church. Their pastor has written some of my favorite books and always delivers really encouraging and uplifting sermons.
God bless you all this Easter weekend! May the hope, peace, comfort, joy and love that comes from Christ fill your home this holiday. xo Shay
