Hey there, Thursday.
Here’s a little look at life lately…summertime edition 🙂 .
I took this pic because she’s just sweetness. She’s just always so happy, so cheerful and so upbeat.
Woohoo!! Madeley went to her first ever sports camp and LOVED it! This year, she picked volleyball camp and went every afternoon for a week. She had the BEST TIME!!
Dress making has become a big deal at our house. We have a garbage bag boutique 🙂 .
My girls will spend hours making dresses out of garbage bags. I’ve offered up other materials, but for now, this is their go-to. 😉
On Ashby’s birthday, she picked out the menu for the day and it included wraps for lunch at her favorite lunch spot, Chop Shop. She’s starting to lose that baby look and just look so BIG now!
The middle school boys (I can’t believe he’s now in middle school!) had a fun mid-week tournament. Again, I can’t believe he’s in middle school!!!!!!
Check up at the hospital for Miss Ashby! She is nailing this new routine. Nailing. It. Her doctor said repeatedly that he cannot believe she’s handling it so well. She’s tough, you guys. She’s so tough!!
We had a SUPER HOT weekend watching baseball. Oh my gosh, I’m not sure I’ve ever watched baseball in yuckier weather. Terribly hot baseball is so much more fun when you’re with your favorite people though!
The little girls spent the night with Lovie and Papa Jay, so it was just the four of us on Sunday morning at baseball.
I seriously love this boy so much.
Not only are we making garbage bag dresses, Kensington is making little stuffed animals too (I mean to tell you, those girls are busy bees around the house!). Mades loves her new stuffed owl!
And Ashby loves the real live dog 😉 .
Woohoo!!! It’s finally Pine Cove Camp week!!!! Bowen, Ashby and Madeley have been SO excited about going to camp! This year, Pine Cove in the City is taking place inside our church building, so it’s very convenient and familiar. Our little campers go every day this week and are having a BLAST! They have come home soaking wet (there are so many ways they play in water) and completely exhausted each afternoon, but GIDDY!
With the little girls at camp this week, I’ve had lots of extra Kensington time! She’s gone with me to run all of my errands, we’ve had lunch, we went and did a little shopping for her at Old Navy…it’s been a sweet time together with my big girl.
I told her that I’m going to be sad when school starts again and I don’t have a buddy to grocery shop with me. I love this age.
That’s a little look at life lately. See you tomorrow! xx
