On Saturday, my besties and I loaded up and flew to beautiful Charleston, South Carolina for a few days (my first trip here!). We are having THE BEST time!! If you have any suggestions or ideas for us, please share! We’re only here one more day, but I’ll take any ideas you have!

I hope you enjoy Charleston!! It’s a short drive from us so we go a lot. The carriage rides are adorable, they have some good ghost tours, and shopping on King Street is great. 82 Queen is one of the best restaurants! Can’t wait to read all about it when you get back!

Shay I want on a girls trip there last Fall and we ate at Husk and Halls Chop House and both were great. We tried to get into FIG but they were booked. We heard great things about it though. If you can squeeze in biscuits from Callie’s Hot Little Biscuit they are great too! Have so much fun!

Charleston is one of my favorite places! Find the Taco Boy truck or restaurant and have the fried avocado taco! You must do it! Also, walk through the houses on the Battery, facing the water. Beautiful! All of French Quarter is beautiful walking. It may be a bit cold, but our favorite little beach town is Folly Beach. Also Mt Pleasants. Have a wonderful time on our East Coast!

Shrimp and Grits at S.N.O.B. are the BEST you will ever have!!! You MUST get them…… Also the lobby bar at The Charleston Place Hotel is a fabulous place to pop in and have drinks while you are shopping King Street. So lovely. You have to visit Off Track Ice Cream Shop!!! We were in Savannah, Charleston, Greenville, Raleigh and Maryland this summer and made it a point to find the best ice cream shop in each destination. I’ve cream was amazing! Hand crafted, you can see them making it. One of our favs was peanut butter & jelly…handcrafted peanut butter ice cream with homemade butter cookie crumbles and house made strawberry jelly. Mint chocolate chip actually had mint leaves crushed in it. Don’t leave Charleston without trying it! Always love the stories of the owners and how they started up as well!
