Since we’re talking all things ice cream today with my TOP FIVE/BOTTOM FIVE: ICE CREAM FLAVORS, I thought I’d share an adult ice cream treat too!
Have you ever tried peanut butter whiskey? It sounds strange, but is actually super, super delicious! You can enjoy it straight up, in a cocktail or…as an adult milkshake 🙂 . It’s the perfect patio treat on a warm day! Try and it and let me know what you think!

Peanut Butter and Whiskey Cocktail
- Total Time: 5 minutes
- Yield: 1 cocktail 1x
Description
A delicious adult milkshake for your next warm day!
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream (as much or as little as you want)
- 2 shots of peanut butter whiskey (we use Skrewball)
- about 1/4 cup of creamy peanut butter
- whipped cream to garnish
- dark chocolate sauce (we use Torani), any sort of ice cream topping will work, to garnish
Instructions
- In your blender, add in the ice cream, whiskey and peanut butter. Zip it around until it reaches your desired milkshake-like consistency.
- Pour into your glass and garnish with whipped cream and chocolate.
- Serve and enjoy!
Notes
You can add more ice cream or less depending on how much you want in each serving. You can also make this with chocolate ice cream as well.

I’ve always been curious – do y’all actually drink the recipes you post? This one says one serving, but it’s almost 1,000 calories and 80+ grams of fat. How do you fit things like this into your diet and still feel like you’re staying on track? Even as a rate treat, I think it would be such a shock to my system that I’d feel it for days.

Well, I don’t drink it often, but yes, for a special occasion or party or something like that. Moderation is always my favorite way to live.

When we go skiing they have Peanut Butter hot chocolate at the resort. It is hot chocolate spiked with the peanut butter whiskey, so good!!! shots of screwball on ski trips are acceptable too. 😉
