You guys, today’s post is sponsored by Walmart+ because (as you know!), over the last 14 months, it has TOTALLY CHANGED THE WAY I SHOP!!
If you’ll recall, back in February 2023, I shared all of the details from my very first Walmart+ membership experience and now, 14 months after getting my membership, I’ve used it 101 times (I went back and counted!) which is pretty amazing considering, we lived on an island for two solid months where I was unable to use it.
That means, I use Walmart+ about every three days.
YES!
As a reminder, here are the details about the Walmart+ membership:
- It’s a membership where you can save on grocery delivery, shipping, fuel and more! What makes it different?
- The Walmart+ membership gives you the same everyday low prices delivered free with no markups (with a minimum $35 order, restrictions apply).
- You can have groceries delivered but other awesome items from Walmart too! No last minute running to the store for school projects; it can be delivered!
- You also get 10 cents savings on fuel at over 13,000 stations nationwide (a 5 cents savings in OK and AL only, subject to change)!
- You also get a free 30 day trial before you commit to a monthly or annual membership! That’s 30 days to shop, get deliveries and see just how awesome Walmart+ is for your home.
- Walmart+ members can also enjoy video streaming with an included Paramount+ subscription (Paramount+ Essential plan only. Separate registration required.)
- Plus, get free flat tire repair & free road hazard warranty at Walmart Auto Care Centers nationwide.
I shared the step by step details from our first time using Walmart+ on THIS BLOG POST…
…you can read that HERE.
Walmart+ has saved me more time and money than I could truly ever add up. Not only do I get my family’s groceries delivered for free, but I also get our household staples (everything from sunscreen to paper towels, light bulbs, batteries, razors, hand soap, etc), school supplies/last minute project items for my kids’ schoolwork, birthday gifts (and the wrapping essentials!), outdoor items, holiday necessities…the list is long. Everything is delivered to my doorstep for free which makes this busy mama’s life SO SIMPLE! ($35 order, restrictions apply.)
On Sunday, I made my 101st Walmart+ order prior to heading to church…
…these were all the weekly items my family needed to head into a Monday including some of our faves from Walmart+ like…
…this great microwavable rice that we use in our CHICKEN & BROCCOLI FRIED RICE, plus…
…Kensington’s favorite g-free bread for her lunchbox.
After I ordered my items on Sunday…
…I selected my timeslot and was still given extra time to modify my order and/or review or edit my substitution preferences.
After church…
…I grabbed my items off the porch, put them away and my family was all set for the week ahead.
Easy as that!
Look what else…
…I’ve saved $1,450.71 just in the items I’ve ordered through Walmart+. This doesn’t even factor in the savings from not going into the store and making impulse purchases. Amazing!
In March, I shared the typical items I get each week from Walmart+…
Yogurt
Bagged salads
Apples
Lemons
Bananas
Grapes
Avocados
Frozen vegetables
Gluten-Free bread (we really love the Hawaiian style g-free sandwich bread)
Nutella
Peanut Butter
Cereal
Snack sized bags of chips/popcorn/pretzels
Sugar/baking soda/baking powder/etc
Kind Bars
Toilet Paper
Paper Towels
Garbage bags
Gallon bags/snack bags/foil/parchment paper
La Croix or Bubbly
…but truly, this is just the tip of the iceberg!
Clearly, I’m a HUGE fan of Walmart+!
Don’t forget, you can sign up HERE to start your own free 30 day trial and get your membership (and all the benefits!) to using Walmart+ too!
If you’re a little frazzled that it’s Monday, hopefully, this just made your life a whole lot easier. I know it has mine!
Happy Monday!! I’ll see you tomorrow! xx

Thanks for the gf bread tip! We’ve tried their other kinds in that brand, but we will definitely give Hawaiian bread a try!!

I literally just made a sandwich with it this morning. It’s so good, and we often, will even use it as a “burger bun” too.

There’s no other way to live!!! Been doing it for 3 years. I literally don’t know how I mommed before!

Love Walmart delivery… I also want to share that if any of your readers are on any assistance program, there is a deeply discounted membership rate available. It is right on their page and it reduces it to $5 or $6 bucks per month if you choose monthly plus you get all the benefits with Paramont Plus, etc. I live in costal NCand it is a good send especially with tourist season and an influx of vacationers coming and leaving each weekend….it helps me avoid the craziness of trying to shop in store on the weekend.

Fabulous info!! Thank YOU!

Hey Shay… great post! Can you explain what exactly a sponsored post means? Thanks so much!
Mix and Match Mama says
It means that this post was presented to me as a topic to blog about, and because it’s something I love and use, I agreed to accept a fee for blogging about it today.

I’m not sure we live close enough to a Walmart for Walmart+ delivery, but I love Walmart pickup!! I literally don’t know how moms shopped with a baby or with a toddler in the past!! Literally add everything to my cart throughout the week and then pull up, fill my car and off I go!! Genius!

Walmart+ was quite literally life changing for me!!!
Kimberly says
What do you do with all of the bags? Will Walmart reuse them?
Mix and Match Mama says
We use our plastic bags as our “pooper scooper” bags when we walk the dogs each day (instead of buying doggie bags). We keep them right by their leashes and grab them on our way out for walks.

We just brought home baby #3 (through adoption!) and after a couple of weeks at home, I finally signed up for Walmart+ and I have NO REGRETS! Makes it so much easier than even scheduling a pickup order at the store…I don’t have to worry about working around baby feedings/naps/big kid schedules. Thank goodness this is an option for our family!!
Mix and Match Mama says
First and foremost, CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!! Second, I cannot imagine how much easier life is with a new baby and Walmart+! I would have LOVED to have had it way back when I had babies at home.

I am a huge fan of Walmart+! Not only does it save me hundreds of dollars each month from the impulse items that would make my weekly grocery expense of approximately $100 go up to $300 on stuff I didn’t really need, but saves me on TIME which I don’t have enough of as it is. I used to hate going to store every week and now, it’s just super easy. Plus they save your favorites/things you routinely purchase so it makes it even quicker!

We love Walmart+ and I signed up last year during Prime days when they compete and do 50% off membership. I’ve seen it another time too on sale like that. One of my fav perks is gas discount. And at an Exxon/Mobil you do fill up completely from app – if your card is connected – and it’s 10¢ cheaper per gallon, too!! Walmart stations aren’t as “connected” as I’ve found Exxon/Mobil to be, but also discount at their stations.

I am so jealous of everyone that has Walmart delivery. I can’t get delivery in my area, but they do have the store pick-up option. Even having the oick-up option, it still saves me time & money 🙂

What in the world do you do with all those canvas bags if you’ve ordered 101 times? 🤣 Unless does Walmart reuse them? 🤔🤔🤔 I know you mentioned above the plastic bags but this order shows canvas type bags so genuinely curious.
Mix and Match Mama says
The canvas totes were used just for the pics. Walmart delivers them (you can see it on my post from last year!) in standard plastic shopping bags.

Dumb question, I apologize, but I never do services that deliver because I never know how much to tip. Do you have a suggestion? Certain percentage based on the order or set amount each time? I honestly feel very silly that I don’t know.
Mix and Match Mama says
That’s a great question and completely in your hands. The app gives you three “options” and you can pick one, decline all of them and tip nothing (which I would never do, but it’s certainly an option) or you can increase it.

I love Walmart+! My car is always filled to the brim, and I was tired of having all my groceries overflowing on one folded down seat. I also always missed the pickup time window I needed by about 30 minutes. I can instead have items delivered after we get home from pickups in time to start dinner.
It’s wonderful! I’m so glad you have been suggesting Walmart+. Also the paramount+ subscription has been a fun addition!

Woah, the ads are bonkers on this post! Everytime I scroll an ad takes over the whole screen? Not sure if it’s supposed to do that.
Mix and Match Mama says
I just checked, and everything looks normal on my end!

Have you ever had mango sticky rice? It’s fantastic!! I wonder if it would work in that rice?
Mix and Match Mama says
I haven’t! I feel like I need it in my life!
