Summer Closet Staples

Happy happy Tuesday!

I missed this month’s Let’s Look because I was en route to Bali, so I thought I’d share the theme today.

This month, it was LET’S LOOK AT OUR SUMMER CLOSET STAPLES.

Easy peasy.  I basically wear the same thing every single day: swimsuit, shorts, tank top, sandals repeat…but I tried to round this post out a bit more than just those things.

So, here are some of my closet staples for summer (from a very WIDE variety of places!)…

You guys, I’m starting with my favorite thing on this post…

…how cute are THESE SANDALS from Target?!

When I tell you my heart swooned when they arrived on my front porch, I mean it.  It SWOONED!

They are only $25!! 

I bought these in my TTS (8), and they fit like a glove!

So stinkin’ cute, right?!  I love THESE SANDALS so much!!

But wait…

…agh!  I know!  THESE SANDALS are equally as adorable and also only $25 (they come in two other colors too!).

Good job, Target!  They have SO MANY cute shoes right now!

One more thing, I didn’t think you could see the detail enough in MY SHIRT, so I snapped this pic for you…

…such a cute top that comes in many different colors and only $17!

My FAVORITE TENNIS SKIRT!  (By the way, MY GAUZE TOP is on major sale and comes in two other colors!)

I have this skirt in THREE colors…

…and wore it on REPEAT all last summer.  It comes in OVER THIRTY COLORS!

And speaking of colors…

…your friendly reminder that these “dupe” SHORTS are amazing!

They come in so many fun colors (and neutrals!), have a nice high waist, are lined…I love them!

In April, I shared a “shorts haul”.  I’m legit typing this sentence right now while wearing option #3!

#1: THIS PAIR is a little bit longer, and they’re from Wit & Wisdom which means they’re super comfy (but you should size down one size!).

#2: THIS PAIR is the perfect simple, wear with everything denim pair!  No cuffs, no distressing, no raw hem…classic.

#3: THIS PAIR was my absolute fave because the waist was a smidge high, they’re super comfy, the color is great, and I love the hem!

#4: THIS PAIR is a little longer, has a nice frayed hem with a really fresh and summery shade of denim.  Love.

I wore all four pairs with THIS SUPER SOFT TANK that also comes in many other colors!  Plus, it’s only $25!

TEE only $10 and comes in 13 different colors while the SHORTS come in four different washes and are only $22!

TOP + SHORTS + WEDGES for the win!  I wore this outfit just last night to dinner with my friends!

I bought THIS TANK in navy, but it also comes in about 25 other colors too.  I thought the quality was crazy good for the price.

I’ve had THIS TEE for years in black, so I decided to buy it in “khaki” too!  It comes in 30 different color options.

You guys know I love my neutrals, but I did find a few tops with some color for the summer…

Well per my IG Stories every morning, you all know that I L-I-V-E in athleticwear!

I’ll spare you a gazillion pics of me in it (as I wear it literally EVERY SINGLE DAY at some point) and instead focus on one day: TANK, RUNNING SHORTS, SPORTS BRA, LIGHT JACKET.

A MESH TANK that breathes?  Yes, please!

You can tuck this TANK or tie it.  It comes in so many colors and is super comfy for working out.  My SPORTS BRA is a great Amazon find!  I wear it all the time!

You shouldn’t just believe me, you should look at the online ratings for these RUNNING SHORTS.  People love them!  I love that they’re lined, they have a little zippered pocket on the side, the waist isn’t too high or too low…they’re fabulous!  They also come in a wide variety of colors too!

Annnnnnd on Nantucket, A LIGHT JACKET is a must!  Last week, I went for a run in this outfit and then topped it with the jacket to go get my nails re-dipped.  Easy as that!

Just a reminder that I love Athleta’s swimsuits!  I think I bought my first one 15 years ago and haven’t looked back.  They wear and wash over and over and over again while always maintaining their integrity.  I love that they come in all sorts of sizes and fits for every woman.  If you want a little or a lot or specific types of suits, they have it.  I really love their swimwear!

Well, you know I adore a #LBD as a closet staple year around (like THIS LINEN dress!), buuuuut…

…sometimes for summer, you need a little color too!  This SWEATER DRESS is comfy!

And I love easy little TANK DRESSES like this for sneakers, flats and heels!
