Today, I am opening up my DMs and answering a second round of TOP 5 CURRENT TRAVEL QUESTIONS with you!

If you’ll recall, in May, I shared PART 1 where I answered these questions: WHAT ARE YOUR FEES, DO YOU PLAN TRIPS ____, I DON’T KNOW WHERE TO START WITH DISNEY, HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I CONTACT YOU, and CAN I USE MILES FOR FLIGHTS?

Today, I gathered up five more questions we get in our travel agency DMs just about every day.

I have included pics of myself traveling because they coincidentally corresponded with each one 😉 .

We get this situation/question/predicament all the time.

Everyone from grandma to baby wants to go on vacation, but you don’t know how to organize it, how to collect the payments and make sure it’s all squared away in advance.  You’re not sure what to do that will make grandpa happy and teen boy too…it’s an amazing thing to travel with extended family, but it can be complicated too.

Maybe grandma and Aunt Shirley want really nice accommodations while your brother and his family want something affordable?  Uncle Phil and Aunt Sue want to do a winery while you and your three teens want something adventurous.  Everyone wants to see each other for dinner most nights, but on other nights, they want individual reservations..

The list is long when it comes to the details of a big multi-generational trip…

…but we are BIG fans and would love to make it all very easy for you.

There are a lot of different ways to “do” a big trip like this, so it starts with just connecting with us to discuss certain factors like the time of year, number of nights, whether everyone can fly to the destination or does it need to be somewhere closer, etc.  Budgets are considered, allergies, tours, transportation, dining, big excursions and relaxation too.  So many things to consider.

I personally love being the point person for a multi-generational vacation.  I get to help everyone have their best vacation while simultaneously make it flow with their extended family’s too.  I can be the one to stay on top of payments and documentation without another family member having to do all the work.  I also get my very best stories when working with big families.  I have learned in my 13 years that the best part about going on a trip with your family is allowing someone else to help you iron out the wrinkles.  Maybe you don’t necessarily want your mother-in-law in the hotel room next door or you really prefer not to sit next to your uncle on that long flight…we can easily handle these details in a way that makes everyone happy and no one offended.

It’s a fun little dance.  You get to go on vacation with the ones you love the way YOU want to travel without any of the headache of putting it together for your family.
