’tis the season Saturday {BIRTHDAY EDITION!}

Well, happy birthday to me 🙂 .

Today, I am 44 years old and feel oh so blessed to celebrate it.

The older I get, the more grateful I become for each and every birthday.  Not just that, but I am extremely grateful for the people I get to celebrate today with as well.

For instance, today, I will get to celebrate my birthday with…

…my gorgeous grandmother.  Want to hear a fun fact?  My grandmother was 44 years old when I was born.  How full circle is that?!

Getting older is a gift.  I’m grateful to be celebrating another year.

Thank YOU for celebrating here with me today.

Well, I’m positive very soon…

…I will be oh so festive in my SEQUIN TEE!  How cute, right?!

It comes in SEVERAL OTHER COLORS, but you know me and green 🙂 .  I tried it on with MY BLACK CORDUROY PANTS and MY BOOTIES.

I shared this pic and deets before, but these BOOTCUT CORDUROY PANTS come in SEVEN different colors (I especially loved the eggplant and cognac colors too!) and are like a velvety-corduroy.  They seem so much more elevated than other cords I’ve owned in the past.  I am always, always looking for different options for pants other than jeans, and I am SO pleased with these!  I paired them with THIS TOP and THESE BOOTS.

I’ve shared this before, but my sweet friend Karla has been a Mary Kay Consultant for YEARS.  I always love buying products from her, but I get extra excited when I get my holiday catalog!  It’s my fave!!  I received mine this week and instantly bought the new blush they have for the season.  For years, I’ve worn…

    Happy birthday, Shay! Have you tried using the walking pad to run? I’m fine with only having one for walking, but my daughter is in cross country and track and wants the option to run. Do you think it would be fine for running too?

      I don’t think it’s made for running. It gets pretty fast, but I don’t think mine feels “sturdy” enough for an all out run.
