Description
I am such a cobbler person. I’ll pass on the cake and cookies any day in order to get me a bowl of this goodness. You can truly mix and match this a million different ways too. Enjoy!
Ingredients
- 1 (10 oz) package of frozen mixed berries (do not thaw)
- 1 (21 oz) can of cherry pie filling
- 1 yellow cake mix (use gluten-free to make this gf-friendly!)
- 1 stick butter, melted
- Ice cream, optional
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly spray your 9×12 baking dish.
- Spread your frozen berries across the bottom of your baking dish. Next, spoon your pie filling on top of the frozen berries and then sprinkle over the box of dry cake mix (you do not need to prepare it, just sprinkle it dry).
- Finally, drizzle the melted butter over everything.
- Pop your cobbler in the oven and bake uncovered 55-60 minutes.
- Remove from oven and serve immediately. You can add a bit of ice cream on top too!
Notes
This is easy to make gluten-free. All you need to do is swap out the cake mix for a gf version. You can also change out your fruit and pie filling too and mix and match this many different ways.

We make a similar dessert but add cereal on top of the cake mix (before topping with butter). We typically use Total or Wheaties but you could use corn flakes as well. It adds a little crunch.
