I was at Target about two weeks ago and saw…
…these EYE SHADOW PALETTES.
They come in several different color options…
…and I bought the “rose” palette…
I have been wearing these shades every day since. They go on really smooth, blend well and have lasted all day. I feel like the quality is extra fabulous for the price!

We only had a four day school week, but it was filled with lots of fun including…
…seeing my favorite fifth grader while I was “snack mom” and…
…seeing my favorite sophomore get inducted into NHS 🙂 .
After I took my Christmas bedding and pillows off, I thought it was time to freshen up the pillows on my bed…
…and I am oh so happy!
I bought my bedding years ago from Eastern Accents. I went back to them and found some new pillows to add a little “life” to my bed making…
…love 🙂 .
Once the weather starts warming up, I get into my “dress era”…
…THIS ONE was comfy, cute, and easy to “do life” in.
I wore THIS DRESS to the NHS induction with MY WEDGES. Easy peasy! I just saw that it’s currently 63% off right now too!
Yesterday was a big day at our house!
Our sweet Poppy turned FOURTEEN!

I shared this in my COTON DE TULEAR POST…but this breed tends to have a long life expectancy, but goodness, it’s bittersweet when your pups have birthdays.
She spent her birthday like she spends most days…asleep under my desk. This one is always by my side.
This week the weather was GORGEOUS…
…on Tuesday, I paired MY BEACH SWEATER with MY SHORTS and SANDALS.
I love these light sweaters especially for spring and early summer. Mine comes in many other colors and is currently 49% off!
On Wednesday, I wore MY SANDALS with MY JEANS and THIS SLEEVELESS SWEATER (currently 45% off!).
And fire up the grill, friends…

I always love seeing Madeley’s style. I’ve got a 5th grader also who is in her sweatsuit era, can you share some of the stores that you get your girls’ clothes? Maybe I can convince mine to wear something other than sweats.

Her sweatshirt is from Kensington (it’s Lululemon) and her tennis skirt is Old Navy. Mades’ favorite stores right now are Old Navy and Target 🙂 .

I have intended to comment all week and just haven’t! I have really appreciated all these posts. Japan, “hard things,” fun pillows, and more. I visited Japan as a teenager and we JUST did a Japan unit with homeschool so it was fun to see so many great pictures. And your hard things post was relatable- always so great to see that you’re not alone in life’s challenges! Thanks for all the content this week, I enjoyed reading every day!

We don’t have a snack cart at my granddaughters school — How does this work? Do the parents load money in the kids account and then they can get what they want? My granddaughter eats lunch crazy early and then they have an afternoon snack that they bring from home. I have always sent Sam’s size boxes of snacks for the classroom for the kids that forget and are hungry. My daughter is an underpaid teacher and I know that the teachers spend their money buying snacks for “hangry” kiddos.

Yes! We buy little punch cards for the kids and then once a day, they can walk down and “buy” something with their punch card. The kids love it!
