You guys, it’s my TRADER JOE’S APRIL HAUL!
On the heels of yesterday’s SPRING DAY, a visit to Trader Joe’s is absolutely something to savor this season.
If I’m being honest, I’m typically a little underwhelmed by Trader Joe’s in April…but this year, they have hit a home run.
Stop what you’re doing and visit your local store STAT.
‘Tis very spring-y there. 🙂
Let’s start with all of the LEMON I found…

…as a lemon girl myself, I was super super pumped to see all of these citrusy seasonal finds.
I also laughed out loud when I saw these…

…you guys, these are what we had on our food tour in Japan…

…see? Isn’t that fun?! Had I not been to Japan, I wouldn’t know about these treats. They’re in the freezer section should you want to try some.
Alrighty, here are some goodies we are loving right now. Ashby Shull told me earlier this week that we had “the best snacks” right now. Ha!
Please see below…

I grab a bag of this every spring. Is it spicy? Is it smoky? Is it sweet? Is it totally random?
YES, YES, YES, YES. It’s very unexpected.

I LOVE Trader Joe’s dried fruits, so of course, I picked up a bag of their new freeze dried watermelon. It looks and has the texture of a beef jerky…but it’s watermelon. It’s kind of random, but my kids really like it.

If you like the Samoa cookies that your friendly Girl Scouts sell, YOU WILL LOVE THESE! Love, love, love.

I picked up a bag of these croutons to use in my mother-in-law’s delicious BREAKFAST CASSEROLE. I love the addition of rosemary!

Ashby in particular was the MOST excited about these. They’re like spicy Cheetos…and Ashby loves a spicy Cheeto 😉 .
I bought THREE of these…

…this entire set was only $12! My girls LOVE this stuff, and this price was crazy good for all three. Run now and get them before they’re gone. The scent is pretty identical to the Sol de Janeiro Bum Bum cream but at a fraction of the price.
I couldn’t decide between the two…

…because both boxes of chocolate cookies sounded delish and clearly, I have no self-control, so I bought both. Yum.

I love me an artichoke! I have been adding these to pretty much everything. I also have no shame and just eat ’em out of the jar with a fork. Love, love!

Just add to the oven or air fryer and bam, they’re done. During the warmer months, we love to grill and these are a very easy side.

My girls are all into making their lunches “aesthetic”, ha! I usually buy the mixed variety of macarons for them to pop in their lunchboxes, but this time, I grabbed just the chocolate and vanilla. They’re in the freezer section.

I’m over here adding fiber at every turn. I like their kale because the pieces are chopped small. If I’m going to add kale to everything, I want small pieces and not big pieces that I often find in the bagged variety.

I bought this to have a piece with coffee at my desk after lunch. Delish!

I bought this thinking it would be mostly nuts, but it’s actually more like a bar mix. There is a balance between mixed nuts and those little toasted crackers inside. I was afraid it might be too garlic-y, but it’s just right!

I’ve shared this a million times, but a little olive oil, salt and pepper on broccoli florets in the air fryer for about 18 to 20 minutes and bam, you have yourself a side.

Because it’s grill season!

All of my kids like chicken but Mades LOVES chicken. I saw these in the refrigerated section and picked some up for her. She loves them! They’re easy for snacks and lunchboxes.

Yes please! I love Trader Joe’s dips, so this was an easy “add to cart”.

And finally, a big batch of blueberries 🙂 .
And that’s my TRADER JOE’S APRIL HAUL!
If you have blueberries (and some of their yummy brioche!), make sure you try my BLUEBERRY FRENCH TOAST CASSEROLE! It’s an easy make ahead breakfast or brunch.
If you have found something recently at Trader Joe’s that you’re loving, please, please, please share it with the group!
I’ll see you back here tomorrow, friends. xx
