Today, I’m sharing a little bit about our FIRST AND LAST days of school, MEAL PLANNING TUESDAY, and…
…Frozen Jr. 🙂 .
Madeley and her theater company worked so hard on their musical that I thought it certainly deserved its own blog post.
We just spent the entire weekend watching the performances, and it was SO SO GOOD!
This group has been rehearsing three days a week since the beginning of January, and over the last two weeks, they have rehearsed 11 out of 14 days. You guys, they put their all into this musical, and we could not have loved it more.
Here are a few pics from our big Frozen weekend…
…a photo of our Playbill. Mades was in the ensemble which means she had eight costume changes for eight different numbers. We could not have been more proud!
(Side note, I submitted all of our names for the Playbill, but they emailed me and said our names were too long, hahahaha! I think ten letter “Kensington” really messed it up for all of us 😉 .)
Awwww! We got to go on stage and take pics after the first performance. Geez, we love our littlest!
Papa Jay and Lovie were so excited to come with us and cheer on Mades!
Night one, done!
I didn’t take any photos during the performance on the first night because I was trying to just be in the moment and enjoy it all. On Day two though…

Woohoo! Another successful day of Frozen!
Teen 1 and Teen 2 came with us to Saturday’s performance…
…and Teen 3 came with us on Sunday.
Mades was extra excited because…
…one of her besties and her sweet mama also came on Sunday too.
It was a FULL five months of Frozen for Mades and a really FULL weekend of musical fun.
We are all so proud of our girl!

I’m off to enjoy our first full summer day on Nantucket.

I can imagine your joy watching her perform! I marvel over our daughter when we get to watch her do something that is stretching her and she’s really putting her all into it. I marvel that I get to be her Mom and I think what a joy she is. Thank God for adoption!

SO SO awesome! It looks like all your kids are THRIVING! My nieces found their niches, but then they would try something else and find a new hobby or talent. It’s so fun to watch them try things and grow!

My daughter is 16 and has been involved in theater since she was 7! It’s by far her favorite thing she does. Local theater is the best! Hopefully her school has productions too!

Every time I see a picture of your kiddos, I think good gracious what are they feeding THAT boy? Then I think back to my nephews at that age and remember it is probably anything and everything! Enjoy your summer!

It is so evident that Mades shines on stage. Love that she had such an amazing time. As a former performing arts kid myself, those experiences were invaluable and some of the best experiences of my life.
