These are a few of the pictures Andrew brought back from Hurricane Gustav. Yes…he was in the smack middle of the hurricane…on purpose. For almost 20 years, my dad has chased and been in the middle of every hurricane to hit the Atlantic coast (yes, all of them, even Katrina). If you knew my father, you would know that this was only the tip of the iceberg when it came to his odd hobbies. So, Andrew has decided to join my dad on these ventures and Gustav was his second opportunity to go through a hurricane into the eye and back out. This doesn’t look like fun to me…but I’m glad he got to go and do it.
