Last night, we all wore our pjs and watched the 3 hour finale of the Bachelorette. I felt like it was a looooooong 3 hours. We’ve come a long way since May 14th. I thought it was going to be fun having my brother on this show but I didn’t know it was going to be this fun. I really wanted my brother to make it to the top 8 (I knew at 8 he would have been able to travel a little bit and most likely have a one on one date)…but to make it to 3…to be absolutely adored by everyone…made this whole experience so special. These sweet gals in their pjs were there with me the whole time. We laughed, we cried (ok…Amber cried), and we ate a lot together. I love you ladies so much. Thank you for making this experience so sweet.
And as for Emily and Jef…I wish them the very best. They seem extremely happy together and in love. God bless them and their life together.

What a wonderful experience this has been for your entire family. Sean obviously has stolen the heart of America. I think we haven't seen the last of the sweet boy from Texas, Sean Thomas Lowe.
Stay tuned everyone……..

I think Sean and Arie will find someone much better for "them".
And while Arie's ex claim he was immature and a horrible stepfather only looking for fame because he isnt racing anymore, he ended up being a gentleman on the show – good for him.
I wanna say one thing: Arie and Chris had… I wouldnt say anger… but almost in their voices when they got rejected. Sean's exit was class act and felt real. With all these fake crying from the men every season, it felt finally real with a man who didnt cry but was obviously heart broken and it felt real.
I don't know when the show will air in Sweden, but hopefully people get to see your brother for what a man really should be and act like.
ps! my sister is married to a dutch so I had to like Arie (^_^)V

Definitely looks like y'all had a fun (and comfy – my kind of group :)) finale party! We didn't have quite as big of a group, but it was still great having a girl's night watching the 'end' of one of the BEST seasons ever!!!!

I can feel for your family with a person like Sean. Let me guess….he is waiting for Miss Right and has turned many away. He doesn't want to waste time on girls he doesn't see a future with. I have a daughter like that and although she is 24 years old now, she is still waiting for Mr. Right and she knows he is out there. She conducts herself as if she is already married, knowing that her husband is out there, she just hasn't met him yet. It is my prayer that she will find him. She cried on my shoulder one time, after many of her friends were getting married and said "what if I don't find him". She is unwilling to settle and wants the guy to romance her and and sweep her off her feet, but I keep telling her, "You have to show them you are interested. It wouldn't hurt for you to ask a guy out", but she won't. She is waiting for Mr. Right and wants to live in a house after they get married with a tower. Yeh I know…she has a bit of a princess complex. I have to admit that Sean sounds like a great guy, and just the type of dedicated Christian she is looking for, but lol we live in Eastern Canada and I don't think they are going to meet in the coffee shop. Tell Sean to keep looking and I will tell my daughter to keep looking….my daughter is still waiting for her first serious relationship and I know she will marry him. Looks like Sean has already had his. I am very protective of her, but I want her to be happy. I once told her he needs to have a blue eye and a green eye. She says he needs to be totally dedicated to God, needs to be able to sing and play the guitar, but I think the first thing is the most important. She said he also needs to be a great father and won't settle for anything less. She was a resident assistant when she was in university, and now that she is going back for her teaching degree, the university has asked that she be a super RA overseeing all of the other RAs. She was student of the year at the university in her second year, and I think she has a reputation for being very fussy and guys just are terrified of her. She spends her Summers working in christian children's camps and the last two years she has been the assistant director of the one she is at. When she was asked why she didn't apply for the director's position she said she wouldn't get to work with the kids.
I feel for Sean now though in that he is going to have a hard time finding a girl now. He will have to totally depend on Christ to lead him to the right girl. He will have all kind of girls making advances at him now and to decide which one is truly interested in him and not his persona is going to be hard. Well enough of my rambling. I wish him good luck in finding Miss Right and if you could say a little prayer for my daughter in finding Mr. Right, I am sure everything will work out in the end.

Shay,
Thank you for allowing all of America to share your family and Sean! Your posts during this season of the Bachelorette have made the journey seem so real. I was able to relate more to Emily and Sean as real people, with real families, and real feelings through reading your blogs and his/her tweets. By far this was probably my most favorite season of the Bachelor/Bachelorette mostly because of the interaction between Sean and Emily. (I am still getting over it! LOL) So thanks again for sharing yourself, your thoughts, and your beautiful family with us! God Bless~
