Shay’s Favorite Bundt Cake


Drum roll please…after counting down my favorite bundt cakes, I give you my absolute favorite of the bunch…
As much as I love all of my bundt cakes, this one takes the cake.  Without a doubt, this is my absolute favorite bundt cake.  I named it after my favorite drink from Starbucks…and it’s like autumn on a plate.
Breakfast or dessert, this cake is perfect when the days get cooler, pumpkins appear on porches, spook houses and Thanksgiving turkeys decorate your home…it’s perfect.  You should make this cake.  And when you do, think of me.  I heart Pumpkin Spice Latte.  My very favorite bundt cake.

    Unfortunately I have not made any of your cakes yet… I started reading your blog since moving to Africa and unfortunately things like cake mixes are hard to come by BUT the one I have bookmarked to make is #96 Peanut Butter an Banana. Every time I go to the grocery store I look to see if just maybe they got in a box of yellow cake mix, and when I finally find it I plan to make it! (Or it will be on my list of things when I move back home in just another 2 months).

Anyway, my favorite cake is an Ultimate Coconut Cake from Wegmans, so for my next party at work (we are nurses in the NICU and celebrate every little thing), I will be making #33, the coconut bundt cake, and I know my coworkers will love it!

I was originally planning to make the original chocolate chip recipe as my inaugural bundt cake… But I am obsessed with all things pumpkin so I think I need to start with your #1 favorite Pumpkin Spice Latte!     Well they all look fabulous..I am not a great baker but I thought for the 4th of July I would attempt your red white and blueberry cake..hmm I was wrong..the cake turned out amazing but the icing not so much.. Haha! But I am determined to perfect that cake.. Haha;)

    LOVE this pumpkin spice latte one. I share your love for fall, and when it comes around, this girl eats/drinks anything with the word pumpkin in it. I'm obsessed! Also loved the strawberry coconut and key lime ones…they taste like the perfect bite of summer 🙂 Next up to try is margarita and nutella!

    I made my first cake over Fourth of July, the red white and blue. My family couldn't get over how moist it was, I thought it was the best box cake mix I've ever eaten. I want to try to the Reese's Peanut Butter, Nutella, and Fruity Pebbles for my kids. The pudding and extra egg make such a huge difference. Love it!

    The very first bunt cake of yours that I made was the carrot cake for my husbands birthday. Carrot cake is his favorite, and he couldn't get over how moist yours was! He said it was the best one I've ever made him…and I've made him a few over the 8 years we've been together. My favorite so far is the orange poppy seed. I made it for a big family get together and everyone wanted to take some home with them, but the problem was there were only 2 pieces left. I was bummed I didn't have any for breakfast the next day. After reading your top 5, I can't wait to try each of them. I'm surprised the orange poppy seed didn't make the list!

    I think the original one has been the favorite around here! We've made that one at least 3 times & it's the one the hubby requests. Also have made the red/white & blue, cinnamon roll, peanut butter, red velvet, and lemon. All were yummy!

    Unfortunately my family is gluten free, so I haven't made any of your bundt cakes yet. I have been waiting to be invited to a social event that needs a dessert so I can make one! Eventually I will try to adapt your recipes to gluten free flours, but I am not great at that, and hate the food/money waste that comes with failures. But, the pumpkin is on my short list for sure!!

    I bought my first bundt cake pan about 2 weeks ago…..and I've made 3 of your recipes already! The lemon(with golden oreos), the chocolate oreo, and rainbow(so fun). I couldn't believe how perfect the first one turned out so I'm on a roll. With a 7 people in this house these babies only last a couple days.

    My favorite Bundt Cake is definitely Cinnamon Roll. I LOVE it! I'm from Sweden, so it's a bit tricky to find all the ingredients for the Bundt Cakes sometimes, but I try to experiment a little – usually they turn out good anyway!

    I don't have a bundt pan! Maybe I'll buy one if I win the Visa card, gotta go back and search that Dr Pepper cake people are talking about! That's one of the worst things about traveling, to me, the lack of Dr Pepper. It was more available in Tokyo than in Southern California or NYC!

    There are too many bundt cakes that sound delicious! So here is my plan: I want to buy a bundt cake pan that has the original bundt size divided into two different cakes. That way I can pick two different cake recipes that use the same cake mix and pudding flavors so I can try two different cakes at one time!     So far, I have made the grasshopper mini bundt cakes for St. Patrick's Day and the carrot bundt cake as minis for Easter. Both have been big hits- no leftovers for me! :(.
