I don’t know about you, but I’ve been pinning everything Halloween like crazy this fall. Since October 31st falls on a Friday this year, it’s so much easier for me to be a little more creative with our Halloween night festivities…but I also want to step up my game when I’m packing my kids’ Halloween lunches and perhaps even do something a little special for their teachers too.
Today, I thought I would show you some of my favorite Halloween ideas from Pinterest along with their sources (when available) to help us all get ready for a spook-tacular holiday!
I love when I find free printables on Pinterest! It’s amazing how a little piece of paper can make an evening more festive.
If you’re wanting to give some Halloween gifts this week (maybe to your kids’ teachers or your neighbors), I love these festive cookie jars with free printables included.
This is another jar gift idea I found! So cute, right?
I love every single one of these ideas from Family Fresh Meals! Kensington and Smith might be having Halloween themed meals well into November because I’m going to make them past October 31st!
I pinned this Halloween Bingo printable site because this is something I know my kiddos would love! I also think it’s really cute that the bingo chips are candy corn :).
I know some of you probably get super creative when carving pumpkins…have you used a drill before? This pin shows you how to use a drill to make some really fancy Jack-o-lanterns.
And then, I found a slew of Halloween porch decorating ideas…

And then if you want something special to remember this Halloween by, I found some fun crafts your kiddos can make too…
How cute is this bat fingerprint craft?!?! I totally think I’m going to do this with my kids!
I also love these footprint ghosts :).
And my kids are totally into cutting anything with scissors these days, so I think they’ll like these cute little paper plate witches too.
As far as Halloween treats go…I have 14 Easy Halloween Treats on my blog along with many more fun Halloween recipe ideas here.
And today, I’m featuring my Halloween Menu…you have to eat something before you head out to trick or treat, so I have your simple supper here.
If you have any quick tips, ideas or suggestions, please comment below! I’m sure we’d all love some new Halloween ideas! And if you’re not following me on Pinterest, click here to do so. I’m also pinning Thanksgiving and Christmas ideas too!
Happy (almost) Halloween!!

Just popping by to say that I love the idea of those cookie mixes as teacher gifts. Halloween is one of the most stressful days of the year for teachers and a little something sweet is just the way to brighten their spirits 🙂

Cute ideas! I'm making your candy corn cupcakes this year to send in to my son's preschool for his halloween party. We're also planning to do your beer cheese joes for dinner Friday night before we trick-or-treat.

My son, who is 4, loves drilling the pumpkins. We are carving ours tonight and he has already said he wants to make a drilled pumpkin again this year. I am amazed he remembers doing it last year and love that he already has a plan.
We have been doing everything Halloween this week-zoo, trunk or treat, bass pro shop, crafts. I'm usually not so "into" Halloween but am giving it my best shot this year for the kids-4 and 2.5-we've hit the prime time for holidays-so fun!

We had a Halloween Party Saturday & played a Halloween bingo game, we've played it many times since then also! It's great using the candy corn because then you can reuse the cards over & over!
We also made Monster Marshmallow pops just using large marshmallows, frosting, sprinkles for hair & edible eyes (found at Target) then stick them on lollipop sticks. Simple, fun & delicious!

Love that Halloween bingo! I printed it a couple weekends ago to play with my 3 and 6 year old nephews, but the whole family ended up playing and it was a blast 🙂 Such a fun post! What did we do before pinterest?!

I found a similar Halloween Bingo game at Target, and we've been playing it almost every night!

My awesome eleven year old daughter, who is autistic, decided to throw a halloween party this year, and, well, we kinda went all out.
I thought of you and your love of all things Halloween throughout (I'm a long time "stalker" of your blog :)).
There are tons of pictures on the post – hope they give you a smile, as your posts so often do for me.

Great ideas! My two are too old for most of the Halloween fun (boo!) but my daughter is making some Halloween krispie treats for me to take to a GNO tonight. Fun! 🙂

This made me laugh SO hard. I'm so guilty of this but it gave me a good perspective:
Halloween in the 70s compared to now:

That's funny that you mentioned drilling the pumpkin, my son wanted freckles on his pumpkin face and my husband thought of using the drill, we were pretty proud of ourselves for thinking of it lol

I have been using a drill to do my pumpkins the past few years! I get about 6-8 pumpkins and use them to line my sidewalk, adds a nice touch to the front of the house!

I wish I could send you a picture! My twins made the witch! Thanks, Shay!

Definitely try using the drill on your pumpkins! SO MUCH FUN! We took a drill for pumpkin carving day when my son was in Kindergarten and it was a huge hit! Everything you carve comes out with pumpkin curly Q's! So fun!

Such fun ideas! Halloween is one of our favorite holidays, for sure!
