Today, I thought I could tell you what we’ve binge watched and then you can tell me what you have…and we can both swap ideas. Listen, there is still at least a month left of winter…plenty of time to cozy up and watch a bunch of TV before spring :).
Still Standing
Curb Your Enthusiasm
How I Met Your Mother
Breaking Bad
Confession: I have never really watched Modern Family or Grey’s Anatomy? Does that make me un-American? I feel like it does. Should I be watching those now????
Okay…what are some other binge watching worthy TV show? I would love some ideas!!
Comment below and then let’s all stay inside the rest of winter and just watch TV :).
And for dinner tonight…my Beer Chicken Chili…that sounds like something yummy to eat while watching TV, right? Click here for the recipe. Enjoy!
Happy Tuesday! I can’t wait to read your comments below :).

Good lists! Friends is always on at my house. A couple drama suggestions: Suits and West Wing. Suits is current but I watched seasons 1-4.5 (where it is now) in about 2 weeks. So good! And West Wing is a classic and has really smart writing. As for comedies, love Modern Family and right now I'm going through Parks and Recreation – so funny! Happy watching!!

My husband and I do some binge watching as well. We loved Mad Men and are dying for the final season to start in the spring. There were some nights we stayed up way too late watching it, we just couldn't stop! One comedy that wasn't on your list that we really liked is Rules of Engagement. While my kids were growing up, we always had a strict rule about no TV on school nights. (In fact, most of the time we didn't even have cable during the school year to avoid the temptation). Now that they're all grown up, I am having the time of my life catching up on series that I missed. I'm currently binge watching Gilmore Girls–how did I not know about this delightful show?! I also wait each season for Downton Abbey to come out on DVD so I can watch it in one fell swoop.
Series I've loved are The Office, Parks and Rec, and The Big Bang Theory.

We have watched The Walking Dead (still on TV and it is SOOO GOOD!!!), Breaking Bad (loved it!), and are now currently into Dexter (still in the 1st season!). You MUST watch Grey's Anatomy from the beginning. I have always watched it and still watch it to this day. It's so good. Private Practice and Desperate Housewives would also be good girly ones for you to watch. I put my 10 seasons of Friends on at night on repeat before I go to bed kinda like you do! Love me some Friends!!! My sister in law got me into Pretty Little Liars last year during a little snow break we had but I never finished it so that's on my list for this summer (im a teacher!). Can't wait to see everyone else's suggestions!!!

You and your hubby HAVE to watch together SONS OF ANARCHY. I just got teary eyed because it's now over and it was the best show EVER. There are so many more good ones that I could list. But that is the most important! 🙂

Even before Modern Family, you HAVE to watch Arrested Development!!! But it's the smartest comedy I've ever seen, so switch it up and watch it in the evenings instead of having it in the background. This should seriously be your next binge-watching show!!

3. Brothers and Sisters will make you laugh, cry and angry–often in the same episode.
5. Damages will suck you in because Glen Close is wonderfully cray-cray.
Just a few suggestions. 🙂

Breaking Bad is my favorite show! So glad to know that you have already seen it. I have only ever caught bits and pieces of Modern Family but it seemed really funny. I was a late comer to Grey's Anatomy. About a year ago when I had gone back to college after 8 years of being out of school to get my nursing degree someone told me I should watch Grey's Anatomy, and that it would make me even that much more excited about being in the medical field, even though it is about Doctors. Now this is just my opinion, but after episode one I was in love. I wanted to be a doctor. Of course it is too late for that, but it was so neat to watch them save lives knowing people do that every day. The thing to me about Grey's Anatomy is that for me each season got less and less interesting and more and more repetitive. I'm sure you don't want to start something you can't finish, but to me the first season especially is worth watching even if you don't move on. The next 2 or 3 season were still pretty good, and then around season 5 I just couldn't stay with it. Just know that if you do decide to watch it that it is a big commitment. The first season alone has over 20 episodes in it, so it is not like watching Breaking Bad where you can finish a whole season in a day or two.
Love your blog, and I feel like I know your kids lol. Have a great week!

In my opinion, Modern Family was funny when it first began, but the last 2 seasons have been boring. I'm not sure if it's because Manny & Luke are older now, but Luke especially is not as funny as he was. (Reminds me of how Jake on 2.5 men grew up and wasn't that funny kid anymore).
As for Grey's – started watching it the 1st Sunday it was on in 2005 and haven't stopped since! Great show, lots of changes (Lifetime shows it for 3 hours a day Monday-Friday) so easy to DVR and catch up in moderation. I do love some Grey's! And I'm with it until those hospital doors close for good.
Friends, How I Met Your Mother, and Big Bang Theory reruns will never get old!!! 🙂
Melissa Joseph says
Desperate Housewives!!!!! And yes, you should really watch Grey's Anatomy.

Friday night lights, Downton Abbey, Modern Family, Greys Anatomy for sure, how to get away with murder is really good and just on season one, one tree hill is my all time favorite, and The Good Wife. So many good shows!!!
Kali says
We are the same way…find a show to watch from the beginning, get hooked and stay up way too late way too many nights in a row! West Wing, Prison Break, White Collar, Covert Affairs, the Americans, Friday Night Lights! Can't wait to get some more ideas from people!
Alicia Rowland says
I'm one of the few people who still watch Greys Anatomy religiously!! Haha You must start How to Get Away With Murder.. So good!!!! For some reason I watch those 2, but not Scandal? Maybe I'll binge it!! And if you don't mind some R rated TV.. Orange is The New Black and Game of Thrones are both awesome binge shows!!!
Maggie C. says
Alicia, you MUST watch Scandal! I watch the other two as well but Scandal is the best one!
Jennifer Goodwin says
I am binge watching Army Wives for the second time. It is so good! My dad was military, so that life has always fascinated me. Parenthood was one I watched to catch up because I started late.

We do this too! You should add modern family, gossip girl, Gilmore girls, entourage, grays anatomy, and scandal to your list. A few my husband and I have watched together are: house of cards ( we watched them all in one weekend) , Orange is the new black, weeds, sons of anarchy, west wing.
Marlyne says

Wow! It's early and you've already gotten so many comments. Will have to take time to read through and get some ideas.
I just finished binge watching Gilmore Girls. Love, love, love! Not sure if your hubby would like it (mine didn't watch) but you might!
Some other favorites – Big Bang Theory (hated it years ago when I tried to watch but then caught an episode that cracked me up and I was hooked!), Once Upon a Time, Nashville, Scorpion and Madam Secretary.
Rebekah Shade says
My husband and I binge watch shows almost every night haha. We seem to have the same show interests so I really think you guys would enjoy Prison Break and Lost. Friday Night Lights is super good too. As for comedies, we loved The Office and are currently working are way through Parks and Rec – both are hilarious.
Jen B says
The hubs and I just finished binging on Sons of Anarchy last night. It was a slow start, but we were totally hooked. I'll be honest…it's no Breaking Bad, but really, can anything ever compare?? Better Call Saul is waiting for us on the DVR. I'm hoping it will fill our BB void. And if you haven't seen Fixer Upper on HGTV, it's one of my very favorites, and totally worthy of a good binge. 🙂

I'm in the middle of binge watching Parenthood right now! LOVE it! I also binge watched Dexter on Netflix..so, so good! I was very sad when it ended. Modern Family is very good – its also one of those shows where you can really just turn it on and watch an episode without paying too close attention, in my opinion. Friends and King of Queens are my all time favorites – I could watch them everyday (and I basically do!)
Alison Morrissey says
I am binge watching Sons of Anarchy right now. It's soooo good! Grey's Anatomy was created by Shonda Rhimes (Scandal creater) & it's excellent. Shonda has alot of truth in her writitng. I binge watched last year & watch the current season on Hulu.

Lots and lots of input here! Looks like I am behind because I have never binge TV watching. I thought I would Friends, since I didn't watch through college because I worked too much. Well, after DVRing and getting behind 9 episodes out the gate, I realized I am out. My kids are 9-4, I am banking on the fact I can in the future.
Good list & suggestions. Only have watched these Greys, Scandal & Parenthood from these list. Apparently Thursdays I choose to pause. I need to make a master list! 🙂

Ooh, Shay you have to watch White Collar (especially since you loved 24 so much) and Gossip Girl!! They both have multiple seasons on Netflix and are great dramas! We loved Mad Men too! So many great suggestions here. I recommend Friday Night Lights too. I still miss that show! If you like suspense and mystery The Killing is SO great and it's the perfect show to binge watch, you won't be able to stop watching it! I loved Sons of Anarchy too. It is violent, but I love a show that keeps you guessing, you just never know what's going to happen. Also an oldie but great show if you like cop shows is called Life. It has the guy from Homeland. It's so good! I'm trying to get through Peaky Blinders as its talked about a lot right now, but I have a hard time with their accents! Anyone else?? I need captions at the bottom to follow along! Haha

My husband and I binge watch shows like it is our job! When we first got Netflix and before we had our daughter, the first show we binge watched was Lost. It was AMAZING! For an entire month we did not leave our apartment on the weekends, I am pretty sure we called in sick a few times to work and we once even left a wedding reception to go watch it.

You got me into Scandal! When you mentioned it on your blog! My only pet peeve about binge watching catching up to a currect show that's on is one your caught up and waiting every week for a new episode is so hard.

Parenthood! I just finished watching it as well, but I've already started watching it from season 1. I love that show.
I've heard great things about Friday Night Lights. If I'm not mistaken, it's produced by the same guy (Jason Katmis) that produced Parenthood. It's bound to be great!
Sarah Lewis says
100% you and Andrew have to watch LOST! There are TONS are Christian underlying principles its insane! The later seasons get a little "SiFi" but its still SO good!

In my entire life I think I have only binge watched 3 shows! lol! Most of the shows I want to see I watch weekly when they air. For years my dad and I have watched a lot of the same shows and we always discuss them after watching. So that is probably why I try to keep up weekly 🙂
The few I did binge watch were Heroes Vikings, and Copper. I loved Heroes and I am super excited they are bringing it back for a 13 episode miniseries this Fall! Copper (BBC America) and Vikings (History Channel) were dramas my husband started watching and I became interested. We ended up watching every episode from the beginning. Copper has ended, but the new season of Vikings starts next week!
Shows I think you should binge watch – Modern Family, Big Bang Theory, Friday Night Lights, and Fringe.

I really liked "The Killing". Based in Seattle, and is a heavier show for sure. But I loved that the last season was produced by Netflix, because I love Netflix originals! Friday. Night. Lights. (!!!) Seriously, if you loved Parenthood, you'll love FNL. Especially because of the whole Texas football thing 🙂

I also recommend Gilmore Girls and Ally McBeal. Your husband might not be as in to these, but I think you would like them!

Dexter is sooo good but be sure your kids are fast asleep! Not really a show for little eyes but oh my word so good. Suits is also so good. I'm currently binge watching Criminal Minds. Desperate housewives is really fun. Grey's is a good watch, but not really a hubby watch.
But probably my three favorite series that I come back to over and over are Friends, Everybody Loves Raymond and Dexter.

Friday Night Lights!!!! By far, best show I've ever watched! Clear Eyes, Full Hearts, Can't Lose!!! Coach and Tammy Taylor forever! Connie Britton and Kyle Chandler are the best – far and away my favorite TV couple. It's so much more than football. Great stories about family and relationships. Watch please! (This is my first time posting a comment. Been a long time follower, but I am a huge FNL fan, so I was inspired to share! 😉 ) One other I love and watch over and over is Felicity. Love Keri Russell, Scott Speedman and Scott Foley. Kinda gets me nostalgic for my college days. 🙂

STALKER!!!! It started on CBS in September so you just have to catch up on like 15 episodes. It is soooo good. I'm usually just a reality tv girl but this show has me hooked. Great storyline, always keeps you wanting more. It's on Wednesdays at 9 but you gotta catch up first. And it's ok I've never watched Greys or Modern Family either 😉

My husband and I love House of Cards, Dexter, and Downton Abbey. Totally random assortment I know. 😉 We also were huge fans of Breaking Bad, and if you loved it too you need to watch Better Call Saul that just started! We watched the first episode last night and it was so good! It's the prequel to Breaking Bad. Binge watching after kids are in bed is the best!

Downton Abbey – awesome for binge watching as there are only about 8 episodes per season (only airs in US Jan. and Feb)
Greys Anatomy – if you are a scandal fan, its cool to see where Shonda Rimes started. There are some seasons that are better than others.
Gilmore Girls – lighthearted, love the mother/daughter relationship, and their fast whitty banter.

I can't believe no one mentioned House! His witty humor and brilliant mind made it one of my favorites along with Gilmore Girls. As for Criminal Minds and Sons of Anarchy as a mom I just couldn't deal with those. I just don't enjoy watching graphic and violent torture and kidnapping. They gave me nightmares and left me feeling very uneasy and that isn't the kind of TV I enjoy. Just a heads up if you were thinking of either of those!

I would suggest Lost and Revenge. Grey's Anatomy is one of my all time favorite shows. For a comedy, the Middle is our family's favorite. I'm one of the few people that has never seen FNL or Parenthood and I would love to watch one of those this summer.

Definitely go with "Fringe" for a drama series – and "Friday Night Lights", as well as "Dowton Abbey"! All are so so so good.

Binge watching ideas:
All-time favorite dramatic is Alias… LOVE it.
Yes, also, to Grey's Anatomy… You will love laughing and crying alongside the main characters. First seasons are best ones.
For comedy:
Throwback to Coach (remember Craig T. Nelson before Parenthood – loved it!)… Coach was actually funnier than I thought.
On TVland (I think?), they've been showing Who's the Boss?. I liked binge watching. I remember ppl complaining about its series ending, but I'll tell you – I was satisfied.
Kim says
Gilmore Girls! You will want to be friends with every cast member! And as a mom of girls you will love it- and learn a lot! I am currently watching it with my almost 16 year old daughter & we are obsessed!:). Also Downton Abbey- give it 2 or 3 episodes, soooo good! It's one of the few shows my football watching husband & I both love! I didn't think he would watch a period England show but he loves it!
Erin C says
We are binge watching Homeland – watch it right now. Like right this minute! You will LOVE IT! We finished season 3 Sunday and hopefully will start 4 tonight or tomorrow. I sobbed hysterically during the season 3 finale. Unfortunately it isn't on Netflix but it is on Demand if you have that. We did Lost for a while but then stopped. After we finish Homeland, I am going to start either Parenthood or Scandal. I was going to watch the finale of Parenthood, but my husband deleted it and said we should watch it form the beginning. I love Grey's . . . I think I cry every episode. And Modern Family is AWESOME! Always good laugh.
Patti says
I didn't read all the comments, but in the ones I skimmed, I did not see ORPHAN BLACK. Tatiana Maslany is an amazing young actress who plays all of the clone characters in a plot that brings you in. Two seasons available on Netflix–and the third season is gearing up to begin in April on BBC.
Olivia says
Based on the shows you listed, you would love Grey's Anatomy. My hubby binge watches that with me as well. You HAVE to watch Homeland!!!! 24 was our first binge watching "event" as well and Homeland is so much better in my opinion…and I was obsessed with 24. It's so so good. Addicting, suspenseful, relevant with what's going on, and lots of twists and turns. Language is a little rated R which is annoying, but worth the watch.

Two really good shows that my husband and I enjoyed together was Dexter and Six Feet Under!! Or a shorter series (only three seasons) was Deadwood.
Hollie MacMillen says
House of Cards. I cannot say enough good things about it. Kevin Spacey is incredible.
It is the only show I've watched that I could possible compare to Breaking Bad, but I hesitate as we're only through 2 seasons. Frank Underwood could rise to Walter White status if the show continues to be great… BB was epic #nuffsaid

We love to binge watch tv. There are several shows that we are super faithful about watching each week, but two weeks ago, we started watching Dexter, and I hate to admit it…we haven't watched anything else since. I feel like I'm getting so behind on Grey's, Scandal, and HTGAWM, but we just can't stop watching.

My husband and I LOVED Parenthood and I definitely cried more than once during the finale (half because it was sad and half because the show was ending). So now I've started binge re-watching it on Netflix pretending like it's not over. 🙂

I have the entire series of Friends on my computer, and I binge watched it a couple of years ago. Now that it's on Netflix, it will be my next personal binge (yes, I have shows I binge watch with the fiance and shows I binge watch alone).
With the fiance:
Breaking Bad
Grey's Anatomy (but we don't watch it anymore…it got to be too much, I think it's run its course for me)
The Office (we're on our second run-through; we watch it in bed before we go to sleep)
Orange is the New Black
Scandal (we're still watching it currently, but we're both kind of sick of it)
And we're currently watching Parenthood
By myself:
Gilmore Girls
Twin Peaks (currently)
And I think Friends will be next!

Hi Shay! I'm surprised only a few people have mentioned this one, but you must watch Damages. Do not pass go, do not collect $200. Just give it a try! It was the very first show that I binge-watched several years ago, and it drew me in from the first twisted episode. There are so many other great suggestions in the comments, but please… I beg of you to give Damages a try. If I could, I would erase my memory of the whole show and watch it all over again. Happy bingeing! 🙂 –Becca

**Orange is the New Black
**Grey's Anatomy – this is a must!
**Newsroom
**How to Get Away With Murder
All good ones! I also love Modern Family. It is short and hilarious.
Kelly says
If you haven't watched West Wing then you absolutely must! It's a great one to binge watch.
I just discovered Friends on Netflix and had to practically pry myself away. I need a weekend with no obligations or anything to do and I would sit and watch all 10 seasons back to back with little to no shame.
That scenario will probably happen around the year 2047.
Elizabeth T. says
You definitely need to be watching Modern Family…..HILARIOUS!!!! My all time favorite series that you need to try, though, is Gilmore Girls. I have all seven seasons and can watch each episode over and over. It's very witty and the dialogue is fast-paced, which is probably a result of the main characters' addiction to coffee! Right up your ally!
Lisa says
I agree, you need Modern Family and Grey's in your life. You also need Psych!, omgosh, it's the best! And The Middle, comes on before Modern Family. The mom from Everybody Loves Raymond is the mom in The Middle. It's greatness.
Meggan Mod says
Hi:) So this one might come out of left field, but my husband and I watch Sherlock on BBC America. It's captivating. It's also very, very funny. Each episode is around 90 minutes, which is perfect for watching one per night, maybe 2 on a Friday or Saturday:) You should check it out!
Rebecca Batten says
Without a doubt House of Cards. Kevin Spacey and a Robin Wright are fantastic. You will not be disappointed. Plus the whole 3rd season will be released on Netflix later this month
Blu and Darbi says
Here are the shows we have binge watched in recent years, in order of our favorites:
1) Friday Night Lights
2) 24
3) The Mentalist
4) Lie to Me
5) Lost
6) Old seasons of Survivor
You would LOVE Friday Night Lights! The Mentalist is also so good!!
J.B. says
House of Cards – and Game of Thrones!

FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS.
Brothers & Sisters is also good.
I hear the West Wing is good, but it takes awhile to get used to how poor quality the lighting/video is in the beginning. I'm struggling to get into it….
Seriously, though, Friday Night Lights.
Girlinpearls22 says
Sherlock! there are only a few episodes but they are pretty long. Its so good but you have to be able to pay attention to get the full affect. Also, Gilmore Girls & Criminal Minds!

Top 3 shows … The West Wing, Friday Night Lights and The Killing. All amazing, real, top-notch acting shows. I JUST finished obsessively going through The Killing and it was brilliant!!
Natalie Clark says
I do the exact same thing! I'm a teacher, so during the summers I will often binge watch while working on a project at home or putting laundry away. Confession- I teach middle school and my girls always talk about Pretty Little Liars, so last year I binged watch during Christmas Break and got hooked! My husband and I also binge watch like crazy! We love Scandal, Black List, Dallas, Heart of Dixie (super light-hearted and adorable), Revenge, and we just started The Walking Dead last night.
Since I'm on maternity leave, ones that I watch on my own are Parenthood, Private Practice and Grey's Anatomy. Holy Moly! It looks like I watch too much tv! Oh and I am thinking about binge watching Girlfriend's Guide to Divorce on Bravo!
Jen says
My hubby and I do the same thing! Our favorites were Alias and Lost!!!! 🙂 And Friends is my all time favorite to have in the background or when I'm falling asleep at night. 🙂
Tracie Briggs says
I would highly recommend watching Modern Family – it's hilarious. It's one of the few shows that literally makes me laugh out loud. I too like King of Queens – hilarious! Have you ever seen Will & Grace?? That's another good one.

We're professional binge watchers over here. Downton Abbey and Call the Midwife for you (my husband is NOT a fan of either). House of Cards, The Killing, The Fall, Lost, and Fringe for the two of you to watch together. Gilmore Girls, The Office (US and UK versions), and Modern Family for comedy.
Amy says
I just started binge watching Scandal! Also love Downton Abbey & The Middle & 24. All I can say with all these comments is – where do people find the time???? I have 3 kids & am a stay at home mom & I can't binge watch much so I really have no idea when you all watch so much tv!! 🙂 Jealous!! 😉
Sarah Witowski says
My husband and I are currently binge watching The Good Wife. It is Soooooo good!!!! We watch the new episodes every Sunday but hadn't watched any of the older seasons. Oh my, they are too good! It's hard to go to bed at night but with 3 littles 4 and under, I have to force myself to stop watching after 3 episodes.
Rebecca Parde says
You should absolutely watch Grey's! I think I've watched it 2-3 times all the way until the current season. I highly recommend Psych and Monk.
Melissa at HOUSEography says
Homeland!! I'm currently binge watching Parenthood and love it. Do you watch Downton Abbey? So good!!
Melissa says
Wow, lots of suggestions already. But you have to watch West Wing and Veronica Mars. VM is only three seasons (plus then there's the movie.) Started binge watching that one while living in England for a month with two tiny children while my husband did research for his PhD. And West Wing is just the best ever.
My favorite comedy to turn on while folding laundry or something else is The Middle. Love a comedy not based in CA or NYC, about a pretty normal family (though they obviously ramp up their quirks because it is tv.)
Please share what you end up choosing!
Melissa says
Oh, and Gilmore Girls. Watched that one when it was on tv, but still put the dvds in at random times.

Pretty Little Liars! Right now it is in the middle of season 5 on TV but seasons 1-4 are on Netflix. I watched it and then had my mom watch it with me. We were both hooked! So many of my friends watch it and she got plenty of hers hooked on it too. It seems like a show that is targeted more towards my age of audience (20) or teenagers but if you watch a few episodes you will see it is so so so good! Once you start it you can't stop.

LOST! The first few episodes are a little deceiving, or at least that's what I thought. When I first started to watch it, I didn't really like it so I stopped. But then some of my friends started watching it and said they loved it and were obsessed so I thought I'd give it another try and then I totally got what they meant because then I got super obsessed too! It's the kind of show that everything happens for a reason and everything connects so you find yourself realizing that what you thought meant nothing a few episodes back, now makes total sense. I binge watched this show like no other. It was just that when an episode was over, you couldn't resist but to watch the next because it left you hanging on a part that you just HAD to find out what was gonna happen next. The structure of it is also really cool too because it jumps from present, to past, and back and forth so that you learn a lot about each character and get a ton of information too. It's not until you're kinda far into the first season when it starts getting really interesting but definitely think you should give it a try!
Kelly says

Definitely Orange is the New Black. I binge watch in 2 ways too. I have a series that I watch with my husband…we're in the middle of Sons of Anarchy right now and I just can't get enough. Didn't think I would like it, but it has consumed me entirely. The other way I binge watch is girly shows by myself. I'm watching Gilmore Girls for the first time right now and love it. Pretty Little Liars is also fantastic.

I have never posted EVER on anyone's blog, so I feel passionate about this! From the list that you provided, I have some recommendations that my husband (ex- college football player like yours) and I both enjoy!
1. Justified
2. Friday Night Lights
3. Homeland

You have got to watch The Mindy Project! First 2 seasons are on Netflix and the 3rd is airing on TV now. Hilarious.
Then you have to watch Happy Endings. All 3 seasons are on Netflix. It got cancelled after that which sucks because was so good!
Then another one (older) that I like is According to Jim!
As for Modern Family, I still watch it, but it's not as funny as it was in the early seasons.
Meredith Broussard says
Grey's Anatomy is my all time favorite show and I have never missed an episode!
The Killing
The Mindy Project
How to Get Away with Murder
Dexter
House of Cards

Friday Night Lights! Same writer as Parenthood and oh so good. Also love Modern Family, West Wing, Six Feet Under, Parks and Rec, and Gilmore Girls!
The Lovely One says
modern family is one of the best comedies on right now. Just sayin'.
I have binge watched Downton Abbey (until I caught up) and now I'm binge watching Sons of Anarchy. I never watched Parenthood and everyone said it was so good, so I'll probably watch that next, and then Scandal.
Sex and the City would be a series I would recommend, or Walking Dead (both at night after the kiddos go to bed, of course!)
Erin Stinson says
Many great suggestions. But a new one that just started but i LOVE it already…Better Call Saul. Think of it as Breaking Bad 2.0 (or really Breaking Bad the prequel). Two episodes in and I'm hooked already. Ditto to Downtown, Suits, and Modern Family.
Tammy Twiner says
You should definitely watch Friday Night Lights! It will not disappoint! Hands down best show 🙂

King of Queens is one of my favorites! I think it's underrated and doesn't get enough credit. It's so funny!
Repetitive but… another vote for Friday Night Lights & Downton Abbey.
The Good Wife is a MUST see. I just got my mom hooked. The first episode will have you coming back for more!

I recently just finished Breaking Bad from start to finish as well. …what an amazing show that had me hooked and staying up way too late every night! Probably one of my favorite shows ever! Another favorite of mine (still on TV) is the Walking Dead. I originally was one of those people that thought "ew zombies. ….how gory and dumb", but my hubby was a season ahead of me and got me hooked after I finally caved and watched. So many great ideas on this comment thread. Can't wait to watch some that are recommended : )

Friday Night Lights!!!
It takes place in Texas, is about football and the character development and acting are amazing.
Comedies—The Office and Parks and Rec

Scrubs
Brothers & Sisters
Parks & Rec
30 Rock
Revenge
Will & Grace (if you have never watched– SOOO funny!)

You must watch Suits – it's the best!!
Erin says
I'm aware that I'm two months late behind on all this… but I do have to say. Gilmore Girls will change yo life and is equally a comedy that you can leave on while getting ready. Seriously though, life changer. Also, The Middle. As a mom of 3, you just have to. Please. Again it's one you can leave on and crack up and what you pick up while doing other things. But I can't stress enough… gilmore girls!!!! it's a Girls Girl kind of show!!!!!!!!!! 🙂 🙂
Mom's the Word says
Havent seen it mentioned, but 30 Rock is a great comedy. perhaps specific type of humor, but Tina Fey & Alec Baldwin are hilarious and has lots of seasons to binge on. Ugly Betty a nice easy one. Ally McBeal was always hilarious too. O, and, Freaks & Geeks (in never went further then 2 or 3 seasons, but funny) For drama; Homeland , and an oldie…Alias (with Jennifer Gardner). If you are into teeny bopper type stuff; The Vampire Diaries is good.

I think you’d love The Good Wife— great for binge watching. Not a great time/title of a show but super good- Lawyer/family drama show.
Although, there really is nothing better then 24!!
