Another week of life around here…boring, routine, normal…the best kind of life :).
Apparently, this is how we do Target.
On Friday mornings, we bake at the Shull house! Middle and Little were all ready to bake some yummy bars with me.
I’m no fool, they bake for the tasting at the end :).
And then…I started smelling something burned. Sigh. Sweet Ashby had turned the oven temp from 350 to 550 while I wasn’t looking. Back to the grocery store for more ingredients to try again.
This was the 100th day of school, so the kids dressed like 100 year olds. Kensington wanted her bathrobe, a scarf, chunky jewelry, glasses and her hair in a bun with curlers :). She’s too cute at 100!
I was pushing the stroller home after school and saw this…the girls held hands the entire way home.
Round two of baking after school (I stopped at the grocery store to get what we needed for another batch). My favorite little baker was here to help! She loves being in the kitchen too.
Kensington was cracking eggs into the bowl and she asked me to video it for Lovie to see. My girl can crack a perfect egg every time :).
After dinner, we went for fro-yo at our favorite place. Two cheers for ice cream!
Andrew was pushing the kids through Cabela’s on Saturday afternoon and I told him to stop so I could take a pic…apparently, we ride the same way through both Target and Cabela’s :).
Andrew and Ashby make the same face when they’re in Cabela’s…that “I’m so excited to be here!” face.
The big two were snoring…can you see Ashby smiling really big? She thought they were so funny!
Ahhhh…sitting around reading books.
Mom and Ashby time on Monday morning 🙂
Ashby loves building with the blocks. She loves making tall towers and then knocking them down (she really loves knocking down towers that I make!).
Sweet Narci invited Smith to play, so Ashby and I had some girl time. It was nice, so we decided to go to Starbucks and sit outside. I bought her a cake ball for the first time. She’s like what is this???
And then she took one little bite and realized it was heaven in a ball!
After school, we stopped by a playground on the way home and let the kids play for an hour. Smith’s favorite thing to do now is climb on top of the monkey bars.
Two sisters enjoying a show before bed.
He’s sneaking up on her while we wait in the car…
…and she loves it!
Coloring and crafting are a big deal in our house. Ashby is totally into it too!
She’s always so proud!
She has mastered climbing up the playground in our backyard.
And Smith has mastered swinging on his own.
Every other Tuesday, Bowen and Nixon come over to play while Erika takes the girls to ballet. I love these four :).
Ashby loves Bowen thiiiiiiiiiis much!
I needed to come in and get ready for dinner out with my girlfriends, so the two two year olds came with me. Aren’t they so cute together? Bowen wanted to watch Peppa in my room while I got ready…two peas in a pod :).
This is life lately…and we’re so blessed by it.
On my foodie blog today…
…my Chocolate Banana Muffins. Super simple and yummy too!
