Today, I’m giving away a $300 Nordstrom Gift Card!

I have been excited about this for days! (Well, 8 days to be exact!)  Last Thursday, the Anniversary Sale opened up to card holders but today, it’s open to everyone!  That’s right…brand new fall items are on sale right now before the season even begins.  These exact same items will be in stock all fall long…but at a higher price.  So…if you’re tired of the heat and ready to pretend like fall is near, then it’s time to check out the Anniversary Sale.

Last year, my favorite coat, scarf and booties all came from the sale and then later on in the fall when you would ask where I got it…I said Nordstrom, but at that point, the price was higher (ouch), so this year, let’s all plan ahead, okay?  Speaking of which…I already bought the ladies in my life several Christmas gifts from the sale.  I started doing this a few years ago and come December, I’m always so thrilled that I have a few items tucked away (last year, I bought several blardigans from the sale and house shoes).  This year…


…I bought myself a sparkly pair of Kate Spade studs (I didn’t have any) and then I bought five other pairs to save for gifts (my cousins, my sisters-in-law, my babysitter, my friends…I can think of at least five people who would like these sparkly studs).

Something else I bought as gifts this year…
…the softest pajamas EVER.  Okay…I bought two pairs to give as gifts and then a pair for myself (because they’re incredibly soft!!).  Friends, they are like butter soft.  For a size reference, I bought XS.  Here are the other fun patterns…

Like I said, last year, I bought my mom and Catherine Ugg house shoes for Christmas and this year, I bought another pair to give to someone else for Christmas.  Won’t this make a cute gift?

Pajamas + house shoes = a great gift (or a great treat for yourself!).

And those Ugg slippers come in four different colors too :).

Alrighty…well, last year, I bought this coat…

…and loooooved it!  So this year, I didn’t need to buy another one BUT ladies, they’re back in stock in a whole new slew of colors and still less than $40!  For the price, this is a really good little coat.  It’s lined, it’s thick, it’s pretty and it feels much more expensive than $40.  New year, new season, new colors…right here.

Speaking of coats…

…look at this plaid coat I bought this year!  You know how I’m a sucker for plaid coats.  I’m wearing an XS here.  It’s lined, it’s heavy, it’s pretty, it’s soft…is it coat weather yet?!

 I mean…aren’t these jeans so fun?!?!  And I tried on many pairs of booties and found these to be my favorite.  These booties are also available in black.  Last year, I bought Ugg booties at the Anniversary Sale and wore them all season long.  They have them again this year in two colors :).

Whew! Okay, I could go on for days :).  ‘Tis (not) the season for fall stuff…but I’ll be so happy I have it when it is!

I'm Kendra Scott obsessed, I have tons of her stud earrings, my favorite are the Dira in gold because they go with everything and are so delicately pretty. I'm loving the new turquoise color of the Kate Spade studs!! I finally caved and ordered a pair after drooling over the multicolor ones for a year. I'm kicking myself for not buying the navy blue sparkle studs when they had them!

    I actually have never bought anything from Nordstroms as I am an extreme discount shopper, love consignment sales. But I have been eyeing some items at nordstroms and I might just do it this year. I have worn boots for years and buying the cheap ones really are not worth it.
