Today’s a big day at our house…it’s sweet Madeley’s 3rd birthday party!
How can it be?!?!
Wasn’t she just one year old???
For grins, here’s a pic of her last year on her birthday…
…couldn’t you just eat her up?! And hasn’t she grown so darn much???? This pic was taken on her second birthday (which is October 19), but today, we’re celebrating with her little friends before we celebrate with family later on in the week on her actual birthday. She is so excited about her party today 🙂 .
So, we arrived home from K-State last night and are hosting a party this morning. Do I need an easy meal planning week or what?!?! I DO! And I bet you do too!
Grab a piece of paper and a pen (maybe a cup of coffee too!) and write down your grocery list. I promise, your family will LOVE everything!
First up, my Maple Mustard Chicken Sandwiches. The best part about this meal is that the slow cooker does all the work!
It wouldn’t be October without my Pumpkin & Sausage Pot Pie. To be honest, your picky eaters won’t even know there is pumpkin in here. It just tastes like a big old bowl of yumminess.
Looking for a yummy soup to warm you up this week? Try my Chicken & Wild Rice Soup!
Do not be scared off by the word “risotto” because it’s really SO SIMPLE TO MAKE! My Roasted Chicken & Sweet Potato Risotto is so hearty and full of flavor but can be on your table in under 30 minutes…so that’s a win, win in my busy mama book!
And finish off your week with my Beefy Mac. If this isn’t a family meal, then I don’t know what is?!
For dessert this week…
My Candy Corn Cupcakes…because…you know…they’re just so darn festive!
And if you need a little breakfast for the week…
…my Pumpkin Bread & Sausage Breakfast Casserole for the win!
Alright, I’m off to celebrate a certain 3 year old’s birthday! I’ll be back tomorrow with pics from our K-State weekend. Have a great Monday!
