Tuesday Talk: Valentine’s Dance!

It’s TUESDAY TALK!

Once a month, I link up with Ashley and Erika (who host this fun little blog link up), and you blog about anything and everything.

In January, I blogged about HOW I’M USING ESSENTIAL OILS NOW and then this month, I decided to blog about…THE VALENTINE’S DANCE!

Ah, on Friday night, our elementary school hosted their annual Family Valentine’s Dance and as always, we were excited to go!  First up though, dinner with the Slaughers at a pizza place right by our house/school…

Ahhhhh!  Doesn’t Kensington look beautiful?  I swear, she was just four years old.  Now, she is all dressed for the dance and wearing my red lip gloss.  #babiesdontkeep

These two were super excited about dinner and the dance too!!

My forever date 🙂 .

The lights were off in the school gym and everything was aglow…

…remember when she first got home from China and went to Kensington’s very first Valentine’s Dance?  She’d only been home a few weeks and was super shy…until that music turned on, and then she danced the night away…

…look how little they were on that day?!?!  OH MY GOSH!!  And then, look at this one…

…I blinked and these girls went from kinder to FOURTH GRADE!  (Insert me crying right here!)

Now, all these years later, we have Shull/Slaughter kids 4.0 at the dance…

Britty and Madeley were lovin’ the music and the lights!

All the smiles…

…I’m hopin’ he’s her forever date too 😉 .

So, that’s my Tuesday Talk…all the looooove for the Valentine’s Dance!!  Don’t forget, tomorrow is…

Let's Look!

LET’S LOOK!

Hi! So I have seen many people say that they’re young and follow you. Which I am one of those people and i would just love a post about you and Andrew and your marriage and what you guys do to keep good communication and how that works for you two with busy schedules and how you value each other’s opinion and what you do when you guys disagree and what that looks like?? I know marriage can be personal and secret but you and Andrew seem to have a marriage that reflects the Bible and as a newlywed i could use all the tips in the world. I want to have babies and as they get older still have my husband be my best friend. I didn’t grow up with good examples of marriage, which is why I look up to you and Andrew so much!! I would love Andrews perspective too, as a strong man and leader!

Since you mentioned the Essential Oils link, so grateful to your reader who knew essential oils could be highly toxic to cats! It would have been so sad to find out a harder way. It’s wonderful how your readers inform each other and cover all the nuances through experience!

The girls all look adorable! Ashby and Bowen’s pic is so dear! Their relationship is so sweet, loyal and pure! I missed seeing Smith! Was he just too busy having fun or did he choose not to go to the dance this year?

    • Reply Mix and Match Mama February 12, 2019 at 1:49 pm

Smith was off at the dance not anywhere close by mama! He was there with Nixon!
