It’s What’s Up Wednesday !
On the last Wednesday of every month, Sheaffer and I host this little link up where we share what’s going on with us right now. It’s a little food, a little family, a little what we’re wearing, a little what we’re doing, a little what we’re watching and a little bit of everything else all in one post. Today is extra fun for me because I’m partnering with Nordstrom and ShopStyle and bringing you some of my favorite beauty buys for Spring including my favorite waterproof makeup pieces, self-tanners and more! I love it when we team up together and talk all things BEAUTY! The post might be sponsored, but all of these items were bought by me, loved by me and used over and over again..by me. You know how passionate I am about beauty stuff 😉 .
So, let’s get started!
1: WHAT WE’RE EATING THIS WEEK:
Have you guys tried this yet…
…my Quick Ravioli Ragu?! It’s easy, it’s fast and it’s delicious! See the recipe HERE to find out where I got all of the yummy ingredients too 🙂 .
2. WHAT I’M REMINISCING ABOUT:
Why oh why can’t it be summer already?! I’m thinking all about these days…
…these are my FAVORITE days!!!!
All the beauty products from Nordstrom that make me look TAN!
You guys know how much I love my faux-glow! Want to hear a secret? I have tried several other types of self-tanner looking for a new one to showcase to you…but I ALWAYS come back to these two and never tell you about the others because these are THE BEST!! I buy both the Alpha Beta Glow for Body and the Alpha Beta Glow for Face. Now, I use the face ones year around about once a week. I think it takes a few hours for them to “kick in”, so I always wash my face at night, rub one pad all over it, let it dry for about five minutes and then add my serum and moisturizer (I have new ones!! Keep reading!!). The next morning when I wake up, my face looks just a little tan and gives me that perfect amount of color. Easy! Now, I tend to only use the body wipes in Spring (because I have a natural tan in the summer and don’t care if I’m pasty in the fall/winter). I apply them the exact same way. After I shower, I open up one wipe, rub it all over my body (make sure you flip it over and use both sides!), wait about five minutes for it to dry and then apply my moisturizer and put on my pjs as normal. Sometimes, I’ll have Andrew wipe down my back, but sometimes, I’m lazy and just don’t care that much because it’s not a dramatic difference…it’s just a nice GLOW! If you wake up the next morning and notice that you missed a spot, use another wipe that night to even yourself out. I am so practiced at this, that I don’t miss spots anymore. I really think the more you do it, the better you get. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!
So, I mentioned that I’m on a new serum/moisturizer kick. Here’s the thing, the last beauty post I did, I told you that they stopped making my serum which meant, I had to locate another one. I went to Nordstrom and their VERY helpful and VERY experienced beauty consultants pointed me to this combination. I’ve been using it for about a month now and don’t see myself going back…
…the two cult favorites VINTNER’S DAUGHTER and LA MER.
Apparently, I’m like the only one left on the planet who hasn’t tried these two because once I started telling people, they were all like “yeah, I use it all the time!”. Now, I just checked and the Vintner’s Daughter is currently sold out (boo), but I will let you know when I see it online again. I started by buying a smaller jar of the La Mer and love it so much that I know I’ll buy another one. I’ve actually started using both in the morning and at night. My skin feels super hydrated and glowy. Thanks to the helpful consultant in store, I’m now a convert.
Want to know what else I have started using daily? These…
…I told you about the Coola Sunscreen Spray last year and so far, this Spring, I’ve already bought three bottles. This is what I used on our vacation, and now, I’m spraying it on myself when I go out to play with the kids. It smells so good and really does keep me from getting burned. I’m also OBSESSED with the 100% Mineral Matte Screen from Supergoop. I wasn’t sure what I would think about the “matte”, but I love it! I apply it every day under my makeup and then also kept it with me in my beach bag while on vacation. It applies so easily and I love that it’s not “greasy” at all. I put it on right before I put on my foundation primer each morning.
Here are a few more fun beauty finds this month from Nordstrom’s Beauty Department…
…my friend Jeni told me to buy this Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish Setting Powder, and I’m a fan! I’ve been using this for a long time…
…her highlighter and they’re a great combination! I just dust a little powder on my cheeks to set my makeup and then when I need to give myself a little umph, I add the highlighter. Easy!
4: WHAT WE’VE BEEN UP TO:
All the Spring sports have started around here…
…Kensington has had her first volleyball game, and Smith has kicked off another baseball season! I love watching my kids do what they love 🙂 .
5: WHAT I’M DREADING:
Mosquitoes.
I’m pretty sure I say this every year, but seriously, every.darn.year, they eat me up. Now, you guys pointed out to me once that my blood type has something to do with it (who knew?!), but I’m always looking for remedies. Help. Please.
6: WHAT I’M WORKING ON:
We are planning vacations like crazy around here! Trips to Walt Disney World, Alaska, the Caribbean, Asia, Europe, Australia, cruises all over the world, and many, many more destinations. If you are looking to book your next vacation, we would love to help you! Email us today for more information at mixandmatchtravelagency@yahoo.com.
WHAT I’M EXCITED ABOUT:
Guess what happens tomorrow?!?
…BASEBALL SEASON STARTS!!!!
Woohoo!!! If you’re looking for me tomorrow afternoon, I’ll at home watching the Sox play!! I’m so excited! I’ve missed you baseball season!!
Did you guys see this…
…yesterday, I posted my MARCH BOOK REVIEW! Five books and lots of thoughts, comments and opinions from you! Head HERE to read my review and then make sure you read the comment section too!
9: WHAT I’M LISTENING TO:
Honestly? A lot of Game of Thrones.
So, this is Andrew’s very favorite show. Ever. And I’m pretty sure he’s watched it all the way through like three times. For our anniversary, he asked that I watch the whole series. Buuuut…you guys know how picky I am about what I watch. I don’t like things that aren’t set present day. I don’t like a lot of violence. I don’t like things where I have to concentrate too much. I don’t like anything mythical. This is why I basically just watch the same four movies on repeat. I’m picky!! That being said, I’m on season 1, episode six right now. It pretty much has every.single.thing. I dislike in a show in it…but I have to admit, it’s a little interesting, and I’m starting to overlook all the blood, guts, gore and dragons. Ha! I’ll keep you posted.
10: WHAT I’M WEARING:
Okay, I did a little experiment for you guys!
Since I was partnering with Nordstrom today, I thought I’d do another test of waterproof makeup…because…come summertime, we could all use a little makeup that doesn’t sweat off in the heat or run everywhere when we jump in a pool.
Now, I would love to say that I jumped in the pool for this experiment, but my pool is freezing cold. Instead, I put it on and then went to my nastiest, hardest, sweatiest workout class. I typically never wear makeup for this class, but thought this experiment would be fun 🙂 . Here’s what I used…
I applied this Effacernes Waterproof Concealer, Lime Crime Waterproof Lip Liner (in pinky swirl), Lancome Waterproof Eyeliner (in aubergine) and Lancome The Monsieur Big Waterproof Mascara.
Here’s what I looked like at home on my way out the door…
#whoaselfie
See it?
Fast forward to the gym. I went to class, I worked by tail off, sweated like crazy and then snapped these pics on my way back into the locker room. I did not add or touch up anything…
…not too shabby, right?! I was really pleased! I’m sweaty (sorry about that!), but my makeup stayed put!!
I am absolutely going to be incorporating all of these products into my summer routine!!
Random side note, did you notice how great my lashes look? It’s because I use this every night before bed…
…I promise you, NeuLash is a game changer!
One more product that stays put…
…these Mac Paint Pots aren’t necessarily “water proof” but they don’t budge. I have been using them as the base for my eye shadow (like a primer). I’ve told you about them before, but the longer I use them, the more I love them.
Here’s a little widget that includes everything beauty from today’s post along with some other fun Nordstrom beauty pieces you might love. I love that they have free shipping and returns, curbside pickup and really knowledgeable people in the beauty department to help me find the right products for me. Just scroll and click…
11: WHAT I’M DOING THIS WEEKEND:
Did someone say Spring sports?! Um, because that’s what I’m doing!
12: WHAT I’M LOOKING FORWARD TO NEXT MONTH:
I have two trips planned…and they’re both realllly different and going to be reallllly fun!
13: WHAT ELSE IS NEW:
I think that covers it!
Bonus question this month: WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE EASTER SIDE DISH?
Um, I love a side dish. I can pass on all that ham and turkey business, but give me #allthesides!
You can see my 9 Easy Easter Sides HERE!
Okay, that wraps up What’s Up Wednesday! I hope you all have the BEST day!
I’ll see you all back here tomorrow!!! xo

I also started using the Charlotte Tilbury powder earlier this year and my skin has never looked Better. Not only how my make up looks…but the condition of my skin as well.
Have a great week!

Lancome mascara is the absolute best! Also, you got me hooked on the glow pads for my face! One of my very favorite beauty products.

What you’re excited about and what I’m excited about are the same thing! Yay baseball!!! We’re going to see our first game of the season on Saturday to celebrate my son’s 10th birthday and I can’t wait. Go Jays!!!

Ooh, might have to pick up my own bottle of Coola Sunscreen Spray soon! And I totally dread mosquitoes too.. ugh… especially since I live in a tropical country!

I just added the highlighter into my make up routine last month too and love it! I actually added several new items in last month, but I’m going to have to finally try the face towels. I’ve used the tan towels for years, why have I never used the ones for the face? Why? Why why?
Amanda @ Cupcake N Dreams says
I’ve been using those tanning face wipes too and they are a game changer! I’ve felt better with a little color through the winter this year! I have to try Supergoop on my vacation in a little bit. I always struggle with face sunscreens for vacation/summer and I usually don’t wear makeup with them. I really love the story lines and character relationships on Game of Thrones and just close my eyes for some of the violence lol. I can’t wait for the last season!!
Amanda @ Cupcake N Dreams

I loooove all of the beauty tips this month!! What fun! 🙂
Alexis deZayas says
I’m going to the beach this weekend and need to snag those waterproof makeup items! I have the mascara and love it! I use the non waterproof version every single day!
Mix and Match Mama says
Alexis, I really think you’ll love them!
Ashley Parker says
There are a ton of oil combinations you can use for mosquito repellent. I have found they work better than any of the sprays you buy at the store. I mix up a roller ball and keep it in my purse. My friends will ask to use my rollerball at our summer get togethers! It’s safe, doesn’t smell and works!
Jenny says
Why did you stop using/liking the Tula Day and Night cream moisturizer?? Just curious since you raced about their cleanser & moisturizer so much? ? thx!!
Mix and Match Mama says
I ran out, so I decided to try something new (because I had been using it for so long, I thought it was time to switch things up!).
Kelley Higney says
You need a Bug Bite Thing for mosquitoes! It’s a suction tool that removes insect saliva/venom from bug bites & stings. When you remove the irritant, your body stops producing the reaction that causes you to itch and swell. You can travel with it, safe on children and it’s completely reusable. It’s a game changer if you suffer!!! http://www.bugbitething.com
Mix and Match Mama says
I just bought one! I’m super intrigued!!!
Annaliese says
Is your current nail color a dipped manicure? I noticed them in an instagram photo. If not, do you know the color you used? Thanks!
Mix and Match Mama says
It is!!
Jamie says
I’ve read that certain body wash and moisturizers negatively impact self tanners… meaning they basically wash the color off or keep it from “sticking”! Do you mind sharing what moisturizer you use at night after you use the tan towel? Thanks!!
Mix and Match Mama says
I’ve been using Beautycounter Body Butter!
Jodi says
Now you e discovered YL essential oils you can use those to help with mosquitoes. The YL insect repellent is awesome too!
Go Sox! Tomorrow is my birthday and I couldn’t be more excited for their opening game!
Nikki Lehman says
What color do you wear in the concealer?
Mix and Match Mama says
Clair 2
Lynn says
Have you tried any of the makeup from Young Livings Saavy Minerals line? They have moisturizer, sunscreen, and such, too. Oh, and for bugs, you can do a bug spray with oils in a diffuser or make a spray.
Kim says
I’ve never tried this, but I’ve heard that carrying a dryer sheet in your pocket repels mosquitoes. That would be easy to test… hope it works!
Also, are there any self tanners you recommend for someone on a budget?
Thanks Shay!
Kate says
Yes, I’d love budget options too!
Katie L says
Shay, use your oils as a mosquito repellent! Doterra’s TerraShield works like a charm. Dilute 10-15 drops in a spray bottle and voila! Sometimes I add a few drops of peppermint or lavender to my spray bottle as well. I am not sure what the Young Living equivalent to TerraSheild is but I would definitely suggest giving it a try!
Bev says
Just wondering if you still use Fresh Cream by Philosophy? I’ve been using it since you recommended and still love it!
Mix and Match Mama says
Ohhhhhh! I haven’t bought that lately, but I still love it! It smells delicious!!
Donna says
FRESH CREAM IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Everything about it is wonderful, the consistency, not too thick and not watery at all..I have been addicted to it since I discovered it. It smells DELICIOUS every single time I use it. I always have at least 2-3 tubes at a time as I am scared they will discontinue this. BUY IT if you have not tried this.
Bev says
Same here Donna!!!
Jamie says
We diffuse citronella (YL) when we are sitting outside. It helps a lot!
Courtney Kaker says
You have probably already tried this before, but, skin so soft from Avon for mosquitos. My son has a some sort of allergy to mosquitos and welps so bad they look like burns. I swear by skin so soft! They don’t touch him when he wears it!
Tamara R says
So here’s my take on Game of Thrones. The first season was brutal. Every other episode I wanted to quit. I couldn’t remember any characters names. I got to the end of Season 1 and was going to quit. But I stuck it out and I ended up loving it. So my advice is: Buckle up and Stay the course. ?. And you know how I feel about opening day!! I cannot wait. And the Orioles open against the Yankees so I know you’ll be cheering for my team too this week!!! Haha ??
Brandye says
That NeuLash stuff is a-mazing! I’ve been using it since either you or Sheaffer blogged about it. It’s a little pricey, but totally worth it!
Brittany says
Please do a post on mosquito remedies. They love me too.
Maria says
Check out the “DynaTrap XL Insect Trap “ from QVC. It’s incredible!! Clears the mosquitos from the whole yard!
Love La Mer!!!! Been using it religiously for 15 years. It’s very thick, I’ve been told to use it only at night. In the winter, I’ll use it twice a day.
Mary Woods says
What color do you use in the CT powder?
Mix and Match Mama says
Medium!
Tina says
Hi Shay! I have a couple of questions..
1. Last time you talked about the tanning wipes, you mentioned that you were using another tanner to keep your tan looking good between wipes. Do you still do this? I also use the wipes (LOVE!) and tried touching up with a foaming tanner….but it looked blotchy, almost like it rubbed it off. I’m wondering if it’s just the one I used.
2. Deodorant! I’ve been loving the Native in the winter…but now that the weather is warming up, I feel like I have a little bit of odor when I sweat. Not cool. I wanted to try one of the other 2 you liked best. Do you mind saying which one you used during your vacation and if it held up to the heat? Thanks in advance!
Mix and Match Mama says
Nope, I’ve recently decided to just use the tanning wipes. The other stuff just didn’t work as well. I like to aim for once a week, but sometimes, it’s like every 5 days. On my trip, I took my Primally Pure with me!
Dana says
Favorite Easter sides are Polish dishes (since I have that heritage and all): pierogies and mizeria (Polish cucumber salad). I often make kolachky with apricot jam for dessert.
Nerine says
“I don’t like things that aren’t set present day.” Oh my gosh I’m the exact same way and thought I was the only person that had that opinion! Haha 🙂
Mix and Match Mama says
It drives my parents and Andrew crazy. Futuristic? No, thank you. Westerns? Nope. I like it to happen present day!
Nerine says
Amen!!! 🙂
Alison Trauger says
Since you’ve become a big fan of YL essential oils, use the tea tree to help with mosquito bites! My son and I have the very same issue. They sure like our blood. So, much of the summer I feel like I’m half dying from the itching, welts and discomfort. 😉 While I still have yet to find the best remedy to prevent the bites I can say the tea tree really helps calm the area and take the itch out. Maybe it’ll help you!
Cindy Vernon says
You can buy the Vintners Daughter serum on Amazon. However, it’s $245 for 1 fl oz!
Lauren says
Have you ever tried a Thermocell? We swear by them for keeping mosquitoes, etc away – it’s not great for like, a day out on the town or anything, but we just KEEP one on the back porch!
Kaitlin Davidson says
Young Living’s bug spray is great!! I would give it a try!
Amanda @ That Inspired Chick says
Mosquitoes are already out at the ballparks across town! I LOATHE those things! They must love my blood type too. I’ve been meaning to buy that setting powder Jeni talked about! I need to remember to order that today.

So my husband read Game of Thrones and we started watching together. It is something I probably would normally watch anyway. However, season 2 episode 1 TRAUMATIZED me. I just could not handle that show after that ending of that episode. I took a really long break before I could watch it again. It could have been because I had just had a baby and was hormonal. I don’t want to give anything away, but I will say that now I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE that show. I’m obsessed and I can’t wait for the final season!
Lora LaRosa says
I tried the ravioli recipe and it was excellent. My family loved it. I might have used different ravioli but bought everything from Trader Joe’s. It was so easy to make too!!
Tracy says
We have a place at the coast where it gets very “buggy”. “Scrubs Insect Shield Insect Repellent Wipes” work very well and the DEET percentage is low, they are also water and sweat resistant. I really like that they are individually wrapped which makes them super convenient. They are a bit pricey, I have found that my husband and I can share one wipe with no problem.
Kacy Jo says
Ok, so I’m gonna be that girl and skip over ALL the makeup comments and go straight to the Game of Thrones portion of your post. 🙂 My husband loves the show too, and some how got me to start watching it. I’m not as picky with my shows, and don’t mind some some fantasy/mythical, some violence, some language etc. But let me warn you. Season one is fairly light. We just started season 4 and while I’m going to keep going, there were some HARD episodes. One that had me crying and then the next episode had a lot of reminders of the previous episode and I kept crying. But now I’m invested in these stupid people and I need to know what happens. I just wanted to warn you. It’s gets hard. Email me if you want to commiserate. I’m here for ya!
Kim S says
Ugg…I have the same problem with mosquitos. I’ve tried tons of products. They either smell to bad, are sticky or just plain don’t work. I FINALLY found one that does and it’s so easy to apply. It’s by Avon. It’s the Skin-So-Soft Bug Guard Plus towelettes.
Allison says
Try the Nivea Creme made in Germany from Amazon. Similar ingredients to La Mer and costs $10 for a large container. Make sure to purchase the one made in Germany and not another country. ?
Arika says
Essential oils are no match for the mosquitoes where we live! We have a lawn company come out and and professionally treat our lawn and trees to help with the mosquitoes. It really makes a difference for us. Good luck, they can be miserable!
AmandaG says
I am going to second this. We did it last year for the first time and I couldn’t believe it actually worked! We live in central Texas and the mosquitoes are very much a pain around here.
WhittyWife says
I completely agree with you on Game of Thrones – it sounds like everything I dislike in a show. Hahaha! However, I feel like my hubby would love it, except he’s heard that there’s tons of nudity, etc (we don’t mind a little language or innuendo, it’s just constant nudity that gets old). I trust your judgment (and Andrew’s judgment) – is it just the occasional scene? It just gets annoying if my husband ends up missing half the show because he’s constantly being respectful and looking away. I was curious on your opinion of the show.
Mix and Match Mama says
I think there is a lot of (in my opinion) unnecessary nudity…see? The list is long! This is why I watch Crazy Rich Asians like 6 times a week!
WhittyWife says
Yes!! Such a great, feel-good movie!!
Tracy says
Whittywife – there is a ton of nudity. Especially in the first 2-3 seasons. They seem to dial in back after that and there aren’t as many naked ladies just laying about for no reason. We fast forward through the sex and the show still makes sense.
Lindsay DeYoung says
I’m going to second the many comments about your essential oils for mosquitoes. I make my own blend and put it in a spray bottle, and it works for all the flying things – mosquitoes, gnats, pests etc. But last year we also had Mosquito Shield come spray our yard, and it was a complete game changer for being able to be outside. We’re fairly wooded, which they say actually helps, because they spray on vertical surfaces (trees, siding, etc) too. It’s supposedly a fairly natural garlic-based spray that’s completely safe, but maybe there’s something like that in your area?
Therese says
I so appreciate your willingness to share details on the products that you use and why they work (or not) for you and your family. I also love the Dr. Dennis Gross Glow Pads. How do you deal with the odor? It’s not as bad as other self-tanners I’ve used but still there the first day and I’m always self-conscious about it. I don’t wear perfume or scented lotion so not sure how to manage.
Also, do you use the sunscreens you listed for your children as well, or something else? My kids have a difficult time with sunscreens irritating their faces so I’m always looking for recommendations
Mix and Match Mama says
I find these Dr. Gross ones much better than others in regards to smell. I apply a scented lotion after I put it on (after it dries) and then don’t smell anything. My kids typically use a “kid” sunscreen with a higher SPF. Neutrogena is popular over here!
Lindsey Wolfe says
I love that you always have such great recommendations, but then every time I go to a link… it is Nordstroms and sooooo expensive. I think you have a partnership with them, but it is just hard for, I’d guess, most of us to afford all the products at the expensive price points. Not sure having a budget friendly option is your thing, but it for sure would be for me!
Mix and Match Mama says
I really try and post a nice variety, but I do buy a lot at Nordstrom because it’s convenient and they have a little bit of everything for everyone in my family. When I find things at other places, I post that too (Loft, Athleta, Amazon, etc), but I always make sure that whatever I’m posting is really something I love. I don’t want to post things that aren’t true to who I am.
Carlie says
Try the citronella YL essential oil! You can make a moisturizer with it to spray on before going outside. 🙂
Stacy says
Alba sunscreen from Costco! It’s on the coupon right now! Check it out!
Danielle Garavaglia says
Hi Shay! I was wondering if you still use Retin-A in your evening routine? And if you do, do you put in on before or after the La Mer Moisturizer? Thank you! Xoxo
Mix and Match Mama says
I do! I always add a pea-sized amount at the very end.
Vicky T says
Young Living’s insect repellent or lavender oil for keeping the mosquitos away. Lavender is great for mosquito bites too. There are several others but lavender is what I always have on hand.
Leah O says
Hi Shay! How were the mosquitos on your cruise and ports? Did you notice them?
Mix and Match Mama says
I didn’t notice any!
Mother of 3 says
If you ever find a remedy for getting bug bites please let me know! Mosquitoes just love me and I often even get a reaction to them so they swell to be HUGE too. Mostly I try not to go outside in the evening when they are just awful and stay where it’s nice and breezy.
Shelley says
Hey Shay! We bought a SkeeterVac and it works! We live on an island in Alaska, on a lake, and the mosquitos are nuts. Pretty sure you Texans think everything is bigger in Texas, but Alaskan mosquitos are no joke. They are the state bird. Just kidding! It works on 1+ acres, it’s odorless, quiet and runs on propane. You’ll have to follow other recommendations for when you are at the softball field, etc. but for outside at home, it’s pretty darn amazing!
Mix and Match Mama says
You live on an island in Alaska? How unbelievably cool is that?!

I always say a mosquito will fly 5 miles to get me. I started using Skin So Soft by Avon (Amazon). I have taken I on vacations to 6 different southern states and NO BITES. Come home to AZ and went outside without it and they got me. I like that it does not have all the chemicals of Off. Which I will bring out if I need the big guns.
Kelsey says
I have heard great things about the Dynatrap for mosquitoes!
Cami Tchoi says
Hi Shay! I take vitamin B-1 to help deter mosquitoes! I’m allergic to mosquito bites and I take a timed-release B-1 pill when I’m going somewhere with lots of them and it helps a TON! It has to be in a higher dosage than just a overall multi-vitamin. Humans can’t smell it but apparently it masks the human scent that attracts mosquitoes. Also a huge huge fan of La Mer! I use the moisturizing creme in the winter and the gel moisturizer in the summer because it’s much lighter. Hope you enjoy the start of spring!
Mix and Match Mama says
Two really great tips!!! Thank you, Cami!!

Discovered you a couple years ago, I have a 4th grade girl and a Pre-Ker (girl), I love all your recommendations sooooooo are you using Coola on the kids also? We have been using Blue Lizard BUT they hate it!!
Katrina says
I think at one time you said that you go for regular chemical peels. Still?
Mix and Match Mama says
I do not. I shared it a while back, but I stopped doing that and started getting three photo facials a year instead. That routine works much better for me!!

Just an FYI—Costco sells LaMer (at least online). It’s about $40 less in the 2 oz. size.
Mix and Match Mama says
That’s a hot little tip right there!!
Bradleigh says
Hi!! Thanks for all the product tips! Curious about what foundation you use? Or do you just use the tinted moisturizer + powder? Would love your recs for what to wear during our TX summers!
Mix and Match Mama says
So, I just bought a new one to test out on more humid days. Right now, I still use my Bobbi Brown foundation stick (I love that thing!), but I’ve been trying to find a good one for the humid days of summer.
Victoria says
Game of Thrones is horrific. By season 5 the storyline and torture is so intensive, horrific and well-acted that I am now physically ill when I see one of the actors in any programme at all.
The programme itself is very engaging and I do in a way want to know what happens, but I can’t watch any more episodes. We tried it where we would watch it together, then I’d stick my fingers in my ears and close my eyes when that character was on, but it made sick anyway.
I’m in no way a retiring violet, I’ve read and watched horror and dark crime, but this was too much for me.
