Amazon lately.


Happy Wednesday, friends!!

I don’t know about you, but my Amazon cart has been mostly Halloween things lately.  Between costumes and wigs, festive napkins, plates and more, the Halloween fairy has been delivering us spooky goodness every day!  In fact, I went to a fun dinner last night and my outfit came right from Amazon!  The theme was “wear all black”…

Did I nail it?!  My dress comes in a lot of colors, but in keeping with the theme, I bought black 🙂 .  My wig also comes in a bunch of fun and bright colors too!

So, besides all of that fun stuff, here’s what else I’ve been Prime-ing…

These are my favorite blonde bobby pins!

Our occupational therapist suggest that Ashby start using these because they help strengthen her left hand (which we’re trying to make dominate) since she has to squeeze while pushing down at the same time.  All three girls are excited we have them!  We have loads of glitter glue art at my house right now!  They are very washable.  I’ve gotten it just about out of every surface/article of clothing we own.  Ha!

I bought another one of these towels!!  We now have three over here which is probably not enough for Kensington, Ashby and me.  We’re obsessed!  I really do think it dries my hair faster!!!

Awe!  I love Beth Moore’s Bible studies the most!!  I’ve been really enjoying repeating this one for my second time.

I wore this top to flag football.  It’s a little short, so I wore a cami underneath it, but I thought it was super cute!

Chip clips…because I don’t know where all of mine went?!  It’s like one minute, I had a lot and the next, I had nothing.

This top right here!  It comes in a million colors and is just so easy to throw on!

Smith’s amazing costume was an Amazon find too!

And last but not least, I bought this dress off Amazon and have already worn it twice!  It comes in other colors and is only $29!

    Love your Amazon posts, I have two post requests:

    1 – Amazon post but for those monthly purchases that you always do – shampoo, cleaning products, vitamins etc. So those that you always buy monthly or bi-monthly.
    2 – A home building post. We are in the process of planning our new home and would love to hear what you would have done differently when you built your house. Laundry upstairs vs downstairs, bathroom/bedroom layouts etc. Anything that you would do differently if you are planning on building a new home 🙂

      I actually think I buy all of that cleaning stuff at the grocery store. I paused to think about it, and yes, I don’t Prime that stuff. I did a home building post several years ago but could update it!

    Amen to the chip clips. Here one day and gone the next. I also love those tops. I just bought the “baby shark” costume from Amazon (https://amzn.to/2Wc2XjJ). My 2 year old put it on and started singing “Baby shark doo doo doo,” and I just can’t even!!!!!! Here is the one for bigger kids https://amzn.to/2BDc4Ra and they have one for adults. Maybe I am super late to the party and these have been a thing for a while, but they are awesome.

        I might literally die laughing if I see more than one small child in the baby shark costume. A line up of baby sharks?!! Oh my word. I won’t be able to breathe haha.

    Love when you share even the smallest items that work for you! Chip Clips are fine and pretty, but wooden clothespins work well too:)

        I use wooden clothespins too! I get a big bag at Walmart for $2-3 dollars and that way when they get broken or lost I don’t mind so much. I have had the same bag for several years because we don’t go through them that much.

      I’m still on the hunt for the perfect bootie this season. I love my peep toe booties, but the weather is making those hard to wear.

Love getting ideas on doing something different for Halloween or birthday parties for adults. I too have bought my costume, wig, and accessories on Amazon and anxiously waiting to see it and the quality.

    I have a better idea for you instead of chip clips! We have a FoodSaver and we use the sealer to reseal our chip bags! I use that to reseal cereal bags, powdered sugar bags, and chocolate chip bags, The possibilities are endless. The FoodSaver has saved us a lot of money over the years!

    We used to spend SO much on chip clips but know what works great…..clothespins!! I let my kids decorate them with stickers, glue things, markers, etc and they’re great rainy day craft and then boom chip clips galore!

      Same products that I’ve been using! I can’t take hair supplements because most of them contain fish oil, and I can’t take fish oil. I think it’s because my hair hasn’t been in the sun/chlorine lately.

    I love that dress, what is your height? The dress looks much shorter on the model on the Amazon website. I prefer the length on you than the model.

    I have the Aquis towel and love it. It really does cut down the drying time. We also have had the bag clips for years and they work great. Amazon has so much to choose from. I love your wig and dress. Now we know what you look like with black hair. Lol
