Today’s post is about Halloween 2019!
(I love how that rhymes 😉 .)
This year’s Halloween was pretty low-key and guess what? It worked! My brother’s family decided to trick or treat in their neighborhood for the first time (which I totally understand!), and Tab was officiating a college football game, so it ended up being just us along with Erika and her kids, and we still had a spooktacular time! The weather had been really rainy and cold, but the rain stopped just in time for our big day of trick or treating. Here are a few pics from the fun…
Ashby’s all “I’m ready to go!” while Smith is figuring out his candy bag situation for the year…he used his very own pillowcase. #oldschoolstyle
Captain Underpants and Jasmine were the first out the door after we ate dinner.
Real life…

I kept telling Smith to smile bigger and he kept saying “mommmmmmm”. Hahaha!
After dinner, Erika and her kids came over. Our neighborhoods are right next door to each (within walking distance), so we decided to do my streets first and then end on her side.
Again, real life…

…sweet kiddos! They were so excited!!!
Shull party of six ready to go!!
She was pretending to be scared of our “friend”. Ha!
Andrew drove us around on the golf cart so that the little girls could hop on and hop off. The big kids sprinted down the sidewalks the whole time.
Halloween is just too much fun!!
Love my man!
Pretty view across the water. We caught up with a bunch of neighbor friends for our annual spooky story…
…this year, this guy jumped out and scared everyone during the story…
…ha! Andrew had been waiting a month to frighten our children 😉 .
That’s it! Another Halloween in the books!! See you guys tomorrow! xo

This year was super chill for us to. 4 out of our 5 kids took off with friends so we only had 1……so weird. I miss the chaos of all the littles!! Erica is amazing!! Tab seems to be away a lot so is my husband so I know how hard days like Halloween are on your own!!

I know you’ve commented that your kids have tablets. I bought an amazon kindle for kids for my 2 1/2 yr old grandson. What kinds of stuff is good to put on it for him? What do you have on Madeley’s? Please help this technology challenged grandma.

My big kids have Kindles for book reading only and then on their iPads, they have Netflix, ABC Mouse and movies we’ve uploaded for the most part.

Nice! You can ride a golf cart on the street in your neighborhood?
Mix and Match Mama says
Yes, you can! The city has certain rules for it, so as long as you follow them, you’re good to go!
