I have been waiting over a week for today’s post! Not only is it DAY FOUR of mine and Sheaffer’s Five Days of Fabulous, but it’s the day I’m going to talk about this year’s RECIPE EXCHANGE!!
Before we get to that…want to know who won…
…yesterday’s prize of $700 worth of Delsey luggage for not only herself BUT her friend as well?
Here we go…
Congratulations AMANDA ALLEN!
Woohoo!!!!! You and a friend will each receive $700 worth of this amazing luggage!!! I emailed you this morning, so all we need you to do is email us back ASAP to claim your prize.
For those of you who aren’t Amanda, I still highly recommend this luggage. It would be perfect for your holiday travels!!
Now, today’s post ties into this year’s Recipe Exchange because not only did we bring our recipes to the party, but since it was our 10th year, we decided to make it a favorite things party too! What does that mean? Every girl came to the party with 10 of her “favorite things” and after dinner, we passed them out…so at the end of the night, everyone left with 9 new things (since there are 10 of us). It was so much fun that we’ve decided to do this every year from now on!
How does this tie in with today’s giveaway? Well, Sheaffer and I accidentally both bought the same “favorite” thing to pass out and once we realized we did, we thought we should totally make it one of our Five Days of Fabulous prizes too! If we both love it so much that we wanted our friends to have it, we want one of you to also have it.
Ready?
Here we go, today’s prize is…
…you and FIVE friends will each receive $250 worth of Victoria Emerson bracelets!
YES!!!!!!!
You…and FIVE friends will each get to pick some of these amazing bracelets!!!
Eeeeeeeeeeeeeks!!!
I’ve talked about Victoria Emerson several times on here because I just adore her bracelets. Sheaffer and I actually both bought completely different styles, so it all worked out okay. I bought my friends…
…and Sheaffer bought us…
See? So different! Now, bonus news RIGHT NOW, THEY ARE BUY ONE GET ONE FREE.
YES.
If you buy one of her bracelets, you get another one for FREE! Annnnnnnnd…right now, they also have…
…limited edition PARTY BOXES on sale. I actually bought TWO of these on Tuesday. For $100, you get 10 Victoria Emerson bracelets all individually wrapped (a $335 value!). So, you can either gift one person the entire box OR you can split it up between multiple people this holiday season. AMAZING, right?! They are limited edition, so get them while they’re in stock!!
Right now, it’s time to enter to win our giveaway AND do a little holiday shopping!
To enter to win, all you have to do is enter the Rafflecopter at the bottom of this post. The winner will be announced TOMORROW when a new giveaway is announced. Winners, you have 48 hours to claim your prize before we pick someone else. This contest is only valid for US residents with US mailing addresses.
Now, on to my 10th Annual Recipe Exchange!
This year, we decided to wear our pjs to the party! I found my cute sweatshirt on Amazon, but it’s no longer there.
Before the party, I had my house all ready to go! I had their name tags ready to be placed by their recipe when they arrived…
…I had our little voting station all set up…
…I had all of our recipes printed up and stapled together so that everyone could take a copy home. I have them turn in their recipe to me about 10 days before the party so that I can make sure we don’t have any repeat recipes and then it also gives me time to type them all up for everyone.
…I had the table all set…
…and the candles all lit…
…and I was ready to PARTY!
AT 6:00, everyone showed up in their festive pjs with their recipes ready to go!
…I always try and snap a pic of everyone’s food, but they never do it justice. This year, we had a fantastic variety and everything was DELICIOUS!
We filled our plates and sat down for a feast!!
After we ate, we secretly voted on our favorite recipe of the night and then got ready to share our “favorite things”!
We passed out, we laughed, we chatted and we had THE BEST TIME!!
By the end of the night, I had made a HAUL!!! Look at my stash!
Gosh, I love my friends so much!!
I’m always sad to see this night come to an end.
Ten years of yummy recipes, lots of laughs and so much love!
Now, if you want to see which recipe won this year, you have to click HERE 🙂 .
If you want to host a recipe exchange too, this is how I do it:
1: Everyone emails me their recipe in advance and I compile I little booklet of all of them.
2: Everyone brings their prepared dish the night of the party.
3: We eat, eat, eat and then vote on our favorite (the winner gets a prize!).
4: Everyone leaves with a party favor and a copy of the recipe booklet.
5: I always provide drinks and dessert to round things out.
I also like to do something a little extra at these parties as well. In years past, we’ve always donated to the food pantry, donated to Toys for Tots or brought things for a child off of the Angel Tree. I’m always so thankful for my friends who go above and beyond for this part of the night!
Whew! That was a big post, right?! It’s time for you to complete the Rafflecopter below and then check back here TOMORROW for our fifth and final day. It’s going to be BIG!!! xo

Your party looked like such a great night was had by all! Would you mind if I ask about your double wrap bracelet that you gave as gifts, was it the gold or rose gold? It looks so pretty and I can’t see much of a difference on their website between the 2 colors. I hope you feel better as the day goes on, you need to rest and watch more Hallmark Christmas movies! Thank you and I hope have a wonderful, restful weekend recuperating!!!
Mix and Match Mama says
I gave the rose gold ones 🙂 . Thank you for the sweet comment!!!
