Happy Thursday, friends! It’s…
…GIVEAWAY DAY!!!
Every single year, I get excited about this post because…I’m not only showing you my new Erin Condren Life Planner, but I’m going to give some away too!!!
This is my ninth year to use an Erin Condren Life Planner.
NINTH.
I know I say this every year, but I am going to say it again…MY LIFE IS IN THAT PLANNER. I write down not only every date/activity, but I also add little notes and things I want to remember to each day too (kind of like a diary), I keep track of goals, I write down every single Christmas gift/birthday party idea/to do list/bill I pay…friends, I cannot stress enough…IT’S ALL IN THERE!
Since my planner has #allthethings in it, I can’t really show you the real pages, so I made some fake pages that way you could get the idea of how I “do” my Erin Condren planner. For those of you who don’t know, this is how I use mine…
…and here’s another one…
…as you can see, it’s color coded. Instead of writing down “Smith’s dentist appointment”, I can just write “dentist” in orange and I know that it’s for Smith. It makes it so helpful on busy Saturdays when we could potentially have four different sporting events, to just be able to put the words “game at 4:00” in purple and know that’s Ashby’s soccer game, etc. Also, when everyone has their own color (mine is green!), I can quickly look at the day and/or week and see who is busy and who isn’t quite so busy. When it’s an even that involves more than one of us, I’ll use an alternate color.
These planners come with inspirational quotes, pages for notes, stickers to jazz things up, and more. Mine arrived this week and I instantly loved it and immediately wanted to give some away. Here’s the cover I have of mine for this year…
…I always order a a new little squares photo cover (I always buy the interchangeable covers because it makes it so much fun!) for it and mine for 2020 hasn’t arrived yet. It will look something like this though…
…it just pops right on there!
They always offer so many options when you’re creating yours. I love their “colorful” options, but they do also come more neutral too. My brain always operates with the school year verses the calendar year, so even though they launch a new planner every January 1st as well, I always get the most excited to buy this one that runs July through July (my brain will always function as if I’m in school).
Right now, my current planner looks very empty. I cannot wait to start adding back all sorts of “life” to this calendar here!!! Each month, it shows you the month at a glance and then…
…you can select whether you want your planner to run vertical (like mine) or horizontal. I just really like vertical and am a creature of habit, so this is the one I always get.
Yes, yes, yes!!
Every year, I give away several planners to you ladies, but this year, I wanted to make sure some really deserving people received them. I want to give two planners away to teachers and two planners away to women in the medical community.
Four winners will be randomly selected off of my Stories. I will post a box to enter a teacher (you can enter yourself or nominate someone!!), and I will post a box to enter someone in the medical field (again, if that’s you, nominate yourself or you can nominate others!!). Winners will be announced tomorrow here on my blog! Comments left here nominating people won’t be entered to win, so make sure you head to my Stories!
Happy life planner day, friends!!! xo

I LOVE my Erin Condren planners! Such a sweet giveaway idea!!
Dana says
I love my planner, too! Right now it’s pretty funny because it says things like “drink a cup of tea” or “watch the news.” I love filling it out in happy colors and adding stickers and just didn’t want to let these days go! Where do you get your stickers?
Shari Florio says
I purchased my first Erin Condren planner last year, and now I don’t think I can ever go back!
Erika Slaughter says
Wahoo!! YES-so ready to be filling up those calendar pages!

I have been using Erin Condren Planners for probably 5 years now on your recommendation and I LOVE them! I have gone through the gamut of the product line! lol! I started with the LifePlanner, then moved to the Deluxe Monthly Planner (didn’t have kids at the time so didn’t need a ton of room for planning), then last year I found the Softbound LifePlanner which actually is my ideal planner because I am left handed the large rings on the side don’t make it difficult to write in it! Will probably stick with this one moving forward because of that benefit. We also have a couple of the Wall Organization boards so everyone can see what we have planned for the month and then one for meal planning!
Emily says
Love the colorful cover!
Would you mind sharing what kind of self-tanner you use for face/body? I love your coloring!

You can actually see a video of me using it on my face here: https://mixandmatchmama.com/2020/04/how-to-videos/

I love that you’ve chosen teachers and people in the medical community for this giveaway! I nominated on your IG post a neighbor who is a NICU nurse and my sister who is a special education teacher. They are both amazing at what they do!
Jenn McNemar says
Shay! I’m dying to get my hands on that DIY Interchangeable Pen Kit! I have been using EC for a few years now at your recommendation and love them! Being creative in my planner is my stress reliever. I don’t see that awesome pen kit on the EC website… is it new and not released yet?
Mix and Match Mama says
Hmmm…I think it should be on there! Let me check!
Jenn McNemar says
I watched her IG live tonight and it sounds like it’s getting released with the new planner in 5 days!! I will definitely be grabbing one up!

Hi! Love these planners thanks to you! And totally live by the color coordination for each person in the fam also thanks to you. Would love to see a “sample” month at a glance” page or how you do your lists and planning. I have several of the dashboards which I love but then nothing’s documented, and I do like you also like to jot the milestones/memories down to go back to. But I feel so undecided on my blank monthly page and the month at a glance that I just leave them blank month after month ha. Need some inspiration for how to use those!!
Beth Graves says
My daughter (just married) can’t live without hers. She has used one since college and is now a teacher and it contains her whole life! Love Erin Condren! The planners are just so well thought out and the customization is phenomenal!
Mrs. M says
I’m a teacher. I’m feeling lucky and God knows I need this in my life.
Robin OSBORNE says
I am a retired teacher (28 years!). I will always have calendars that run from July to July. I can remember having conversations with my non teacher friends and having to clarify what I meant by “next year”. Of course my teacher friends knew exactly what I meant.
Heather says
What a sweet thing to do! these professional are so deserving of this and more 🙂
Elizabeth T says
Do you go through multiple planners in a year, or do you just use the one June – June?
I’ve gotten different time periods but I find I want to plan further out than her release cycle allows, so I wasn’t sure if you just do 2 a year rather than 1!
Mix and Match Mama says
This is the only one I use!
Liz says
I mean, do you use two EC planners (one dated Jan-Dec and one dated June – June) during the course of one year or do you use the same June-June until the next June – June is released ?
Mix and Match Mama says
Oh sorry, no, I always get the planners that run July to July (so the current one I have that I got last year will expire this July when my new one starts). I never buy the ones that run annually, I like the school year calendar better.
Marcia Kintis says
I would love one of those… beautiful colors and ideas… My son’s teacher doesn’t do any of the media sites, very awkward lol… also I dont know any nurses 🙂
Kristin says
Hi Shay!
I love my Erin Condren planner, thanks to you and I always look forward to when the next one comes out! How do you use your monthly page? Do you color coordinate on that page as well? I’m going to start using color coordination for our family of 5, but I’m not sure what to do about the monthly page! Thank you!!!
Mix and Match Mama says
I use the monthly page for business related things (goals, achievements, etc).
