Hey, hey Monday!
Anyone else doing lots of dishes and dishwasher unloading right now?
I saw this meme and died laughing because…
…YES!!!!!!!!
All of my kiddos love these…
…we were eating them before we became a gluten-free family (they’re g-free), but me oh my oh, they are MESSY! I swear, anytime my kids pull one out, it’s like they dumped a box of Rice Krispies treats right on the floor. And I feel like they’re eating them a lot right now 😉 .
Okay, let’s do dinner!
Five simple suppers and one bonus bread recipe. Here’s our week…
We’ve been eating a lot of frozen shrimp over the last four weeks (Trader Joe’s has my favorite!), and the other night, we had avocados, corn, a red onion and cherry tomatoes, so it was the perfect night to make my Grilled Shrimp & Bacon Salad! It’s so good!
This Beef Short Rib Pasta is really one of my favorite pasta recipes! Right now, short ribs are actually one of the cuts of meat that I am able to find regularly at my store too which only makes things better. You will love this recipe for many reasons including that it’s a slow cooker supper 🙂 .
Pulled pork…again…but it’s just so easy, versatile and available here right now. This time, try my Pulled Pork Tacos in the Slow Cooker!
Have breakfast for dinner tonight! My Monte Cristo Breakfast Casserole uses deli ham to make things suuuuuper easy!
Switch up Friday night with my Taco Lettuce Wraps! Easy as that 🙂 .
Annnnd April makes me want to get in the kitchen and make Strawberry Lemon Bread. Those two flavors just scream April to me!
That’s it for this week’s Meal Planning Monday! I’ll see you guys here tomorrow! xo

Where have you been grocery shopping since quarantine life started? I know you have said before that you get the rice rollers from costco. Have you done back to costco since quarantine started?:);)

You can order those off of Amazon too! That’s where I’ve been getting them lately. So far, in the last month, I’ve been to Trader Joe’s one time and then my neighborhood store for everything else.

Looks yummy! I feel like I am always doing the dishes. Our dishwasher easily runs three time a day all year long… 4 times or more on holidays or times we feel like baking something extra.

Hey Shay!
I work at a non-profit (Be The Match- we help blood cancer patients find their cure through bone marrow transplants) and we are planning a virtual fundraising event in May since we had to cancel all of our in person events this spring due to COVID19. As I come on here and read each of your posts EVERY.SINGLE.MORNING (bless you) I’ve realized how obvious of an ask this is! Would you EVER consider participating in something like this (we are doing a cooking segment along with a kids segment)? Would LOVE to chat more to see if it is something you’d ever consider partnering with us for! I will send you an email too- but thought I would leave a comment 🙂
Thank you!
Jordyn
