Guys, I’m so glad it’s Friday!

This week has made me tired.  Anyone else?  I think having a birthday party on a Tuesday made my week feel off…all week, I thought it was at least Thursday 😉 .

We have baseball ahead this weekend and lots of family time.  Here’s hoping for sunny weather for us all!

Well Miss Ashby’s 8th birthday was of course our favorite fave this week!!  We had the BEST day celebrating!!  The breakfast birthday was super fun because it just meant the fun started even earlier!!

Friends, I have found some fun finds on Amazon lately!  Here are a few that I keep wearing on repeat…

…this visor was a major score!! I always wear a hat when we’re outside swimming, but sometimes, I want my hair in a bun off my neck, so I needed a visor. This one comes in a bazillion colors, but power yellow was my fave!  It’s velcro across the back so that it fits perfectly too.  Love, love, love!

Speaking of the pool…

…look at my super cute coverup!!!  Isn’t it so much fun?!  It comes in many different tie-dye prints, but I thought this red, white and blue just screamed “wear me on July 4th!”.  So cute, right?!

I’ve had so many questions lately about…

…this makeup carrier I use.  Back in January, I did a little video about it on Instagram because I love it so much.  Here it is again for those of you who missed it…

…and of course, these dresses are still faves of mine.  I ended up buying the striped one in a solid too because I really love it so much.  Not only do they both have pockets (I love that), but the fabric, the length, the adjustable straps…all perfect.  They both come in so many prints and solids as well!  The palm one is HERE and the striped one is HERE.  Plus, they’re both under $25!!

 

I’ve had questions lately about my fun bracelets…

…I always love Accesory Concierge jewelry, but it’s my favorite during summer!  My neon yellow is HERE and my white is HERE.  They’re great for the pool too!

 

 

I posted this pic of Madeley over the week and had so many questions about the fan!  It’s not mine, it’s one of the other baseball mom’s, and it’s fantastic!  You buy these fans at Lowe’s and then put ice in the bucket.  The fan can either cool you down or you can switch it and it will spritz you with the melted ice water from the bucket.  For hot baseball weekends, it’s a must in Texas!

Well, I have a new favorite afternoon snack…

…the key is mixing the two in one bowl.  Yes.  Yes. Yes.

Look what I have burning in my office…

…they’re candles that smell like Walt Disney World!  How fun is that?!  One of my sweet readers told me about this company and now, my team and I are obsessed!  I think we’ve all bought at least three of them.  If you’re a WDW person like us, you need to check out all of the different scents based on the most magical place on Earth 🙂 .

        We are obsessed with the Magic Candle Company! We have tried it all – their room sprays (so much better in the bathroom than all the artificial stinky air fresheners!), their wax melts, their candles (love the wood wick!), their oils, and their car scents! Such a great way to bring Disney into our house while we can’t actually travel there!

        I think the first step is to think about what kinds of podcasts you might like to listen to. I love learning new things so some of my favorites are Hidden Brain, How I Built This, and the Chris Hogan Show. Sometimes I need something light and fun so I also like NPRs Ask Me Another. I have found some of my favorite podcasts browsing through Sirius XM stations or by trying out the “you might also like” recommendations on Spotify and Apple Podcasts.

        But not all at once is an awesome podcast. You should def give that one a listen. A Christian mama, Anne is amazing. And she has interesting topics that rotate with guests.

    We love those candles! Got our first for Valentine’s Day and haven’t gone back. The car scents are a favorite too as every time we get in the car, we feel we are on the pirates of the Caribbean ride

    We get the essential oils from the same company. I use them in my classroom since we can’t have candles. We love to put them around the house too.

    I bought the makeup carrier when you posted about it before and love it. So easy to keep everything in there. I just open it on my counter and I have everything, no more digging to find anything. I also bought one for a co-worker’s birthday and she loved it. Thank you for all your helpful suggestions and sharing ideas!     What size did you order in the palm and stripped patterns? I’m 5’2” so finding maxi dresses I can wear flip flops or sandals with is a struggle!!

    I am SO excited about the bow deal you shared today. I waited 3 years to have a baby, and to our surprise it was a GIRL. My IVF miracle is 6 months old now and you better believe she wears a bow every day.     Hey! Not on your Friday Favs, but I had a question on your JCrew v-necks. Do you dry them in the dryer? My JCrew and Madewell v-necks get wonky on me, even on a low temp and im wondering how you keep yours from doing that. Thanks!

I had not heard about the Magic Candle Company before and I just bought a ton of candles for myself and as gifts and also signed up for the monthly subscription box so I can continue to be surprised by all the fun fragrances! If we can’t be at the parks right now, at least our spaces can smell like them, right? *Doing the happy dance!!*

    Hi! I see you follow Candace Owens on Instagram. You do realize she’s a horrible racist? Yes, black people can be racist too. I’m not sure why you, who seem so upbeat and positive, could follow someone so full of hate. Disappointing.

      I actually started following her last week just to see what she was about. I was amazed by the hundreds of people who loved her on my DMs and the hundreds that hated her. I thought, geez, she’s so polarizing that I need to watch her feed and form my own opinion. She was by far the most suggested person I was told to follow and told to hate. Anyone that’s that relevant, I want to check out. Is that disappointing or making myself informed?

      It’s incredibly shocking to me that people are judging by who you are following on Instagram.. I’ve seen it in more than one blog post comment about who you follow and it’s mind blowing that they could spend time researching, reading, understanding, etc and instead are going through peoples pages and looking at who they follow on a social media platform.

    I’d LOVE if you made an amazon list with all your favorites and could post the link so we could easily go back to it (and follow your amazon shop page!)
