Happy Monday, friends!
Well, yesterday, was my birthday 🙂 !
I turned 39 years old.
I mean to tell you…it was a special weekend because I got to spend it with my sweet little family. The older I get, the more I realize what a privilege it is to grow older. I know so many people don’t always get that opportunity, like my sweet friend Manda, so I really try not to take it for granted. I have loved my 30s…so far, it’s been my favorite decade, so needless to say, I’m excited about what this last year of being in my 30s has in store for me.
On Friday night, my parents hosted a little birthday dinner for Mades and me…
…and it was perfect! Then on Saturday…
…our very favorite restaurant opened back up after a fire they had in the spring, so we headed to our town square for dinner and to enjoy the chilly day after football! On Sunday, we went to church and then had a late baseball scrimmage…it was the best way to spend my birthday.
Any-who…today, I’m doing something totally out of the box for me…I’m sharing TWO HOLIDAY GIFT GUIDES! Waaaaaaaay back in January, when I asked you ladies what you wanted to see from me in 2020, so many of you said HOLIDAY GIFT GUIDES, so I wrote it down and added it to my blogging calendar. I thought I’d start sprinkling them in now so you had time to look before the rush of the season actually began.
I have two guides for kiddos between the ages of 4 and 8ish (approximate ages on both ends)! Both of these guides have gifts under $35 (most of the gifts are even under $25!), all from Amazon. Now, even though your kids might like things from each guide, I went ahead and separated them into “boys” and “girls” because it helped me stay organized as I looked. Obviously, you could shop either one for either gender. Also, I did repeat a few things because I really thought they worked for both guides. I really went through and thought “what would Ashby like, what would Samuel like, etc.” .
Needless to say, if you were one of the gift guide people, these are for you 🙂 .
After each graphic is a widget where you can click and go straight to the product. Hopefully, this helps make your shopping easier this year! I sure did “add to cart” multiple times when building these guides for my kiddos and nephews!
Okay, that’s it for today! My kiddos have today off for “teacher conference day”, so I’m going to zoom, zoom, zoom on over and do that now. I hope you all had a great weekend! Tomorrow is all about BEAUTY!!!
Friends, it’s Halloween week!!! xo

Wishing you a great-next-trip-around-the-sun!
I like to head over to your posts for a check in another part of the country. Dinners with extended family and at restaurants, football games, church, full time school. These things are not really happening in my part of the country to mitigate the spread of Covid. But, then again, Texas rates are climbing and climbing and we are doing better here! So much discussion about what is better–one is better for physical health and one is better for mental health!!

This reminds me I need to get to making my list and checking it twice!

Thank you for providing my fiancé’s favorite dinner meal these days. Andrea’s Pulled Pork over baked potatoes has quickly become his favorite, he requested it for his birthday dinner! It’s such a simple recipe but makes me look like a rockstar in the kitchen!

So helpful!! I put almost all of them on our kids’ wishlists, thanks!! I have a couple random questions, 1. What creamer do you use in your coffee? And 2. Do you ever have those cauliflower egg frittatas from Trader Joe’s anymore? Thanks!! Have the best day!!
