If you’re new around here, on the last Wednesday of every month, Sheaffer and I host this little linky party where we share what’s going on with us right now. It’s a little food, a little family, a little what we’re wearing, a little what we’re doing, a little what we’re watching and a little bit of everything else all in one post. Considering it’s the last week of October, as you can imagine, I’m uber hyper right now on #allthefall and living my best life 🙂 .
Let’s get to it, friends!
1: WHAT WE’RE EATING THIS WEEK:
I’m kicking my Meal Planning this week up a notch with a Halloween twist! Have you tried some of my spooktacular supper ideas?! My kiddos always think it’s fun to have a Halloween themed dinner.
Tomorrow night, I’m making…
…Ghoul-Ash which is one of my oldest recipes passed down from my mama. I bet I ate this every single Halloween night growing up.
2. WHAT I’M REMINISCING ABOUT:
Awwwww! I’ve been thinking back to our girls trip last year. It was just so much FUN! Hopefully, we’ll get to do it again next year, but in the meantime, I’m going to look at the pics and reminisce.
3: WHAT I’M LOVING:
So many things!
First, have you ever seen a cuter card…
Oh my word, how cute is this card?! One of my very favorite clients sent this to me on my birthday, and she made it herself. I absolutely love it! If I were ever a card, it would be this one right here 🙂 .
…I can’t quit it with my mama necklace. For so many reasons, it makes me happy. It would make a great gift!
Also, do you guys remember this from last year…
…I bought this very palette and used it TO THE PAN! I used every bit of all of it and GUSHED about how much I love it. That bronzer is the best bronzer I’ve ever used (it’s not sold separately). Well guess what? They brought it back this year too!!!!!
4: WHAT WE’VE BEEN UP TO:
Awwwww! I had a really great birthday weekend. I was the perfect combination of all my favorite things: family, friends, food, sports, church and cozy weather.
5: WHAT I’M DREADING:
Hmmmm…I can’t think of anything right now. I feel like these last 12 months have kicked my butt, so to say I’m not dreading anything right now is a breath of fresh air.
6: WHAT I’M WORKING ON:
I bought adult coloring books for Kensington and me to enjoy during our Hallmark Christmas movies this year. Over the weekend, we loved working on them!!
7: WHAT I’M EXCITED ABOUT:
I’m ready, friends.
My 2020 needs carols, twinkle lights and Home Alone.
I’m going to get it all down next week and decorate as much as I can. Hopefully (and that’s a big “hopefully”), my room/bathroom/closet will be finished within the next month or so, so that will be nice too!!
8: WHAT I’M WATCHING/READING:
Anyone else? They started back on Friday night, and my girls and I have loved watching them already!! Do you have any new favorites??? I watched the Pemberley Manor one on Sunday for like the 15th time. Geez, I love these movies.
9: WHAT I’M LISTENING TO:
Right this minute? A lot of construction noise.
10: WHAT I’M WEARING:
Well, thanks to the cooler weather, I’ve been able to wear my new hat! I’ve also been able to wear…
…this terrycloth top (so comfy and comes in multiple colors!) and my new Wit & Wisdom jeans! Have you tried these before?! They are so comfortable!!! Make sure you size down when ordering as they do run large. The waist has this elastic in it that really does make them extra, extra comfortable.
…it was finally time to pull out my new coat from the #nsale! Eeeeeks! I really love how light this one is but yet, not bulky.
I wore this top on both Saturday and Monday. It’s super soft, tunic length, perfect for around the house but would look cute with jeans too. It comes in multiple colors but grey spoke to me 🙂 . Speaking of speaking to me…
…have you seen these mini puffers?! They come in 14 fun furs and vegan leathers too! Isn’t that adorable?! I had a hard time deciding which one I wanted to try. I ended up buying light gray but geez…there are so many other cute ones too! The vegan leather mini puffers are HERE.
11: WHAT I’M DOING THIS WEEKEND:
…Halloween might look a bit different this year, but let’s be real, what doesn’t? We’re still going to eat good food, put on costumes and have a spooktacular night!
12: WHAT I’M LOOKING FORWARD TO NEXT MONTH:
13: WHAT ELSE IS NEW:
That’s it! Make sure you come back tomorrow for my OCTOBER BOOK REVIEW!!
Happy Wednesday, friends! See you guys here tomorrow!!
