Today’s super fun SATURDAY post is sponsored by both shopDisney and ShopStyle!
I was so excited when shopDisney reached out to me about collaborating on back to school because that’s all we’re talking about around here! We are officially two full weeks into this new school year and the Shull kids are already having a great time! This year, the little girls had decided to buy their lunch at school…but, when shopDisney reached out and asked if they would like to try some of their new back to school items including all the gear they need for school lunches, these two girlies quickly changed their minds. They struck a model pose…
…and couldn’t wait to show off their new shopDisney lunchboxes, tees and more! Ha!
Both girls sat down with me when we picked their back to school lunch gear…and while Miss Madeley picked the super cute Minnie Mouse Lunchbox, Ashby was sold on the adorable Minnie Mouse Rose Gold Lunch Tote.
What is lunch though without adorable (and functional!) pieces to easily fit inside…
Madeley selected the Frozen 2 Food Storage Set and Ashby chose the Disney Princess Food Storage Set.
Two girls who are both super happy to pack lunches for school AND lunches for all of those sporting events they go to each weekend for their big siblings! Adorable t-shirts, Disney Princess Steel Water Bottle with Built in Straw and lunch gear? When I say they were excited for these awesome back to school items to arrive, that would be a big understatement. They were SO PUMPED!!!

See how easily and securely everything fit inside?
Both girls have decided that on Thursdays and Fridays, they take their lunches to school 🙂 .
A happy back to school-er means…
…a happy mama too 🙂 .
What do your kids do? Do they take their lunch or buy it at school? If they take it, what are their favorite items to include? We’re always looking for new and different ways to jazz up lunchtime! Please leave a comment and share!
Happy Saturday, friends!! Enjoy your weekend!!

When my kids packed lunch they loved to take pepperoni roll instead of a sandwich. I would bake it on Sunday and then it was ready for the week.

My kindergartener takes lunch daily. She loves things like oatmeal, homemade fruit and yogurt parfaits and mini waffles with assorted toppings, string cheeses and crackers.
Mix and Match Mama says
Ohhhh! Tell me about the oatmeal. Does she eat it room temp? That’s a really fun lunch box idea that I’ve never tried!

These are so cute!
I’m a mom just starting out with income through social media. Do you have any advice on when you start putting earnings aside for your children? Normal family stuff feels ok but when the earnings are from collaborations specifically for products for your children, do you use age of child or maybe product?
Thanks so much.
Mix and Match Mama says
Awwww! Good for you! Andrew and I put all of our earnings into our joint account where we then save for college, save for weddings, save for their future expenses (cars, medical, insurance, etc). We don’t divide out our income based on how it was earned, it’s all a group effort put into one family “pot” for taking care of our kiddos and their future.

It would be interesting to do a post or podcast on the behind the scenes of where you derive revenue (percentages for each area such as Instagram, paid sponsorships, blog etc.). I wonder if there are things people do because they love it and maybe they don’t really see much in terms of revenue from it. You’re inspiring!

Cutest lunch boxes and girls! We mostly use the thermos for lunches and the favorites are oatmeal, diced ham and potatoes, raviolis, pasta and meatballs, and burger with bun on the side.

One of my daughter’s favorite is dumplings from Costco! They steam in the microwave and I just pop them in a thermos. It is her very favorite and SO easy.
Ruby Huling says
My question is where did you get the jeans/leggings for the girls?
Mix and Match Mama says
Those are Tucker and Tate from Nordstrom! I bought them last year and they wore them almost every day, so this year, I bought them each two pairs. They’re the best!

WOW can you make my lunch too please – HAH They look so fun and delicious.
Gives me ideas for taking lunch to work.

My oldest just started K today so I am just starting out with packing lunches! I bought The Lean Green Bean (she is a Registered Dietitian blogger in Ohio) lunch box guide and it has so many great ideas! So worth the cost, my little one has already picked out many ideas for lunches. Thought I would pass it along!
