Hey there, Thursday! It’s another magical day in blog world as I recap the second (and final!) part of Madeley’s Disney World Birthday!
If you missed PART ONE on Tuesday, make sure you go back and read that first. Don’t forget, Erika and I also shared BREAKING DOWN DISNEY WORLD on The Bestie Breakdown this week too, so for even more information on why you should use our travel agency for your next Disney vacation, listen to that episode HERE. We share all the information about how Mix and Match Travel Agency creates custom vacations for all of our clients.
When I left you with PART ONE, we had just had the most epic 7th birthday for Mades at Animal Kingdom and Magic Kingdom.
After a very full day (and night before!), the second day of our trip started with…
…a tired girl. We partied hard the night before, so we let them sleep in just a bit before tackling DAY TWO at…
…Magic Kingdom 🙂 .
Even though we had just been there the night before, we wanted to go back during the day to see how festive it was all decked out for fall and catch a few more fun things.
We were HAPPY to be back!
When you combine fall with Walt Disney World, my heart nearly explodes from the love!
We had a very special lunch planned for this day. Miss Madeley and Miss Britt got to enjoy a special meal at…
…Cinderella’s Royal Table!
It was such a fun treat for us!! We saw Cinderella most of the meal as she walked around and waved at all of the guests and we thoroughly enjoyed our delicious lunch!
Lunch even ended with decorating our own cupcakes! Delish!
Life is pretty sweet at Cinderella’s house!
Right now at Disney, there are so many pop up parades and meet and greets where you can safely see the characters. We had so much fun saying hi to Tigger!
How cute is this pop up parade?!
And then, look who popped up…
…Mickey!!!!!!!!!
We totally flipped over seeing Mickey and friends!
A selfie with the man himself 😉 .
He gets me every single time.
We were finished with Magic Kingdom for the day and heading over to one of my favorite places…
…EPCOT! A little water and a whole lot of fun for a random week day!
We ran into Elsa when we visited Norway 🙂 .
They were smitten. Also, please note the swag they start to accumulate as we walk through EPCOT. Bahahaha! It gets intense by the end of the post.
Oh hey, Anna! You are too cute for words!
These two…lookin’ so cute in China 🙂 .
I love me some Britty! We stopped for a snack in the U.S.of A!
And then…
…we had tickets to ride the new Ratatouille ride in France and friends, IT WAS MY FAVORITE RIDE OF THE TRIP!!! We loved it!! It was so, so, so, so cute!!!
After France, we hopped on over to…
…enjoy dinner and a little show in Germany!
When dinner was over (it was so delish by the way!)…
…we enjoyed EPCOT at night! It (and we!) were all aglow!
Day TWO was a huge success! We walked back to our resort (right next to EPCOT) and got a bit of sleep before our third and final day…
A good morning selfie from Mades to you 😉 .
We kicked off our third and final day in Hollywood Studios!
Rides, shows, and so much fun!
Wait! We needed a selfie with…
…our fun new sunglasses 🙂 .
We had the LOVELIEST day in Hollywood Studios. We saw shows, we rode rides, we ate snow cones…it was perfection!
This part of the park gets me every single time. It’s the giant Christmas lights…you know how my heart soars for a Christmas light.
After we left Hollywood Studios, we made our way to…
…EPCOT again to finish up our trip.
I have about 400 billion bubble pics on my phone…
We played with the bubbles, we rode a few rides and we finished off our trip with dinner in England.
It was the perfect end to a trip celebrating our Miss Madeley!
Love these two girls so much! I am SO thankful my bestie and me are making these memories with our kiddos!!!
Once more, if you missed PART ONE on Tuesday, make sure you go back and read that first. Also, try and catch BREAKING DOWN DISNEY WORLD on The Bestie Breakdown this week too! It gives you so much information on why you should use our travel agency for your next Disney vacation. We would love to help you at Mix and Match Travel Agency create your next custom vacation too! My family reached out to book a trip with you in November to Disney, but after being no-showed on scheduled calls by Erika a few different times, ended up booking on our own. I have been following you for years and was so excited to work with you. Was such a bummer!!
Mix and Match Mama says
Hi Alex! I just went did a search of your interactions with our office and found multiple emails from Erika to you. You sent in your initial inquiry on February 19, 2021 and Erika responded that day. On Sunday, February 21, you emailed Erika and she replied right back (on a Sunday) and the two of you had several email interactions that afternoon. You emailed with her on February 23 and then on March 5, she sent you multiple pricing options for your dates in November but you never replied back to her to follow up. I’m sorry it didn’t work out for you. We would have loved to continue working with you on this vacation!
Marilyn says
Thanks for the recaps! Just curious, do you use the Disney transportation buses between the different parks and to and from your hotel?
Mix and Match Mama says
We did!!
Maggie Brown says
What a fun trip! Just curious…for the 4 of you, did you get 1 hotel room or 2?
Mix and Match Mama says
We had one hotel room for the four of us! Great question! I should have mentioned that!
Brittany says
Can you link Mades & Britt’s shoes?
Lauren says
What a fun trip! I really enjoyed the podcast where you both broke down Disney too!
Dana P says
How fun!! I would love it if someone woke me up and said we’re going to Disney! ?
My husband’s grandma bought us annual passes to Disneyland Paris one year and it’s much more affordable over there. I hear it’s not quite as elaborate, but it’s still Disney. You can get pretty inexpensive airline tickets to Paris in February, too. Maybe that could help someone who would love to go? Just bundle up. ?
I agree, Ratatouille is the best! They have that one there, too. Did you notice the smells? It smells so good! If you haven’t seen The Imagineers documentary on Disney Plus, you should watch it!
Mix and Match Mama says
It was INCREDIBLE! The smells, the heat…it was pure Disney magic!
Candice says
When does Disney start decorating for fall? I am planning a trip to Florida this year the week of August 21st. Hoping i can see it decorated for fall!! I have seen it decorated for Christmas and I loved that! Also are the cute fall disney shirts that all of you were wearing from Disney parks too?
Mix and Match Mama says
They do start in August, so there’s a very good chance, you’ll get to enjoy it!
Lisa D says
Incredible birthday trip! Thanks for sharing all the fun.
Kiandra says
Question…were there other princesses at Cinderella’s Royal table lunch? It used to be all of them. Wondering if it changed with Covid policies.
Mix and Match Mama says
It was just Cinderella!
Michelle says
Looks like you all had a great trip and great table location at cinderellas castle!! We went a few weeks ago and were seated near the windows. We were a little disappointed she didn’t walk all around the restaurant. For the price you pay for that experience, we expected a little more. Some of their big columns and where our table was block your view of her. Just wanted to share our experience in case someone else is planning to go in the near future.
Julie says
Tooo adorable, I’m so glad you were able to celebrate together at the happiest place on earth!
When we surprised our three kids with a trip to Disney World for Christmas years ago, their response, we’ve already been there. LOL!!! They were younger then, and…they hadn’t. They had only been to Disneyland.
Needless to say, they had a fantastic time but we certainly didn’t get the awesome reaction we were looking for on video.
I’m a former Disney planner and I cannot wait to take my teens back!!! Thanks for sharing these posts, they made me SUPER happy!
Carrie says
Talk to me about Ratatouille!! Did it make you motion sick at all??? I read that in some FB group & people were talking about how bad it was for them!
Mix and Match Mama says
NO!!! Oh my word, I loved it! If I could have gone on it 50 times, I would have!!
Sara says
Such a fun post! Have you gone to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter?
MelanieL says
Such a fun trip! I really enjoyed the podcast this week, it was fun to hear about all the aspects of planning a trip to Disney with a travel agency! 🙂
andrea in mn says
I very much enjoyed your recaps! Just superb.
Funny question… But what have you done with all the ears, bubble makers, light up necklaces, etc. from over the years and multiple trips?
; )
Thank you kindly for your enjoyable blog and presence.
Mix and Match Mama says
I try to save them in a box for future uses, but honestly, my girls use them all the time for dress up, playing outside, for fun…they get used a ton!
andrea in mn says
Heading over to play dress up! Oh what fun.
Have a great Friday!
Alexandra says
This trip right here shows how much you can pack in to a 3 day trip! Looks like you had a fabulous time! We were there over Christmas and it was just as magical. I loved the podcast episode this week! It’s on my bucket list to work with you for an international trip! You are #TravelGoals!!!
Kelsey Vacher says
Love this post!! We are getting ready to go ourselves and can’t wait! What sneakers are you wearing?? Love them!!
Joanne says
What a fun, fun trip! We’ve been to Disney in the fall before and I just love all the beautiful decorations. We have family that went one year for Halloween time into November and they said it was amazing to fall asleep on Halloween with all the fall decorations and wake up Nov 1st to all the Christmas decorations everywhere.
atlanta says
question ~ we just got back from disney and I was so disappointed in the ‘fast pass’ situation. I hadn’t been in a couple of years and they have switched the system again! I paid the extra but felt I was still glued to my phone to try to snatch a pass on the desirable rides… any tips?? we also went to universal and although the ‘fast pass’ options are much more $ it was so much better! just a separate line for those so I didn’t need my phone for anything but pics, and so I could actually enjoy the day. not sure when we will be back but wondered if you thought the same??
Mix and Match Mama says
I’m sorry it didn’t go well. I will say that the system we have in place for our clients does seem to work really well and honestly, we like the new Genie+ better than what they did before. The next time you head to Disney, we would love to assist you!!
Melissa Frame says
Thank you for the great recap!
Where are your shirts from that you and Ericka wore! All of them r super cute!
Mix and Match Mama says
They are all from Etsy!
Hailey says
Do you have the Etsy shop!?
Mix and Match Mama says
I don’t have it handy. Erika and I just searched fall Disney shirts and found them from different vendors (I think all six shirts came from different places). I can try to locate them!
Mix and Match Mama says
Okay! I just checked! I bought some of them and Erika bought the others. I bought mine from Blue Ocean Apparel, Nancy LaLa Land, and Moms of Main Street on Etsy!
Lizzie says
Could you link where you got your super cute T-shirts and the Minnie ears? Thank you!
Mix and Match Mama says
We bought the ears there in the park and our shirts came from Etsy!
