Happy happy Friday! This post is sponsored by Our Place and Shop Style, and friends, you are going to love my new summer recipe idea for your next patio party or backyard get together…PLUS, I think I just did your Mother’s Day shopping for you too.
Or maybe it’s for that summer wedding you’re going to attend?
Or a housewarming gift?
Friends, you’re going to want to get and gift these three items from Our Place…
TINY BOWLS (IN SPICE)//EVERYDAY CHEF’S KNIFE (IN BLUE SALT)//WALNUT CUTTING BOARD
You know how much I love, love, love their Always Pan and Perfect Pot. They make cooking for my family easy, efficient and delicious. Well, these three pieces here are the perfect accompaniment for both the Always Pan and Perfect Pot or they make excellent stand alone presents for everyone on your gift list! The quality of the board and the everyday chef’s knife with the tiny bowls make for one happy mama in the kitchen!
Right now, Our Place is having their Spring Sale just in time for Mother’s Day gifting (or maybe stocking up for yourself!)!
Right now, they’re having huge savings on both the Always Pan and Perfect Pot plus 20% off everything sitewide!
You know how much I love my Perfect Pot! You can boil, bake, crisp and steam right here in this one pot! It’s versatile, cleans easily, big enough for my family of six…it’s the perfect pot 🙂 . Right now, it’s priced at $125 (instead of the original price of $165!).
Here are some of my favorite things about the Perfect Pot:
1: It can withstand temps up to 425 degrees, so you can place it directly in the oven (no transferring!). This is particularly good for recipes like my stew that can be made in a pot and simmer away all day in the oven.
2: It’s so light! Every time I pick this pot up, I’m surprised by how light it is. I always think “this is the perfect pot for my grandmother to use!”. It’s super light, easy to store, easy to pull off a shelf or out of a cabinet. I love that about it!
3: I am OBSESSED with the pour spout. Anyone else hate draining things from their pots? Either you don’t get all the water out or you accidentally dump part of your food into the sink, draining from a pot is hard…but with the Perfect Pot, there is a pour spout built in to the side of the pot for draining. Simply put on the lid and drain over your sink. Brilliant. Like legit, brilliant.
Also, don’t forget about…
…the classic Always Pan! It’s the perfect do-it-all wonder designed to replace 8 traditional pieces of cookware, so you can focus your energy on more important things than the pile up in your sink. Right now, it’s priced at $115 instead of the original price of $145! (Or you can buy the Home Cook Duo for $225 instead of the original price of $310!).
It’s essentially 8-in-1:
-

-
-
- Skillet
- Non-stick pan
- Saucier
- Fry Pan
- Spatula rest (no more messy counters!)
- Colander
- Steamer (great for a healthy one-pot meal)
- Saute Pan

I love all of the great colors both the Always Pan and Perfect Pot come in, but the blue salt spoke to my heart that most, so that’s the color I selected. That being said, there are many other color options for both!
Select that perfect gift and host an easy celebration with my yummy Caprese Salad Board.
It’s like a charcuterie board meets the Caprese salad 🙂 .
Here’s what you do…
Step 1: Preheat your oven to 425 degrees. Take one loaf of a really good quality French bread and slice it into pieces.
Step #2: Cube your bread slices and place them on a baking sheet. Pop your bread in the oven for just four minutes. (You’re just barely toasting it!) Remove your bread and set aside.
Step #3: Take your other yummy ingredients and prep and chop them. I use prosciutto (a good quality one from my deli), basil (from my garden!), green onions, cherry tomatoes (I halve some and then leave others whole), plus a good quality fresh mozzarella. For my prosciutto, after I chop it, I place it in a clean, dry skillet for about five minutes (stirring often) to quickly crisp it up a bit. You could substitute with bacon, but I love the flavor of prosciutto.
Step #4: Assemble! Place your lightly toasted crusty bread down the center of your board followed by the cherry tomatoes, chopped basil and diced mozzarella cheese. Serve with your favorite garnishes like chopped green onion, salt and vinegar pistachios, grated Parmesan cheese and your crispy prosciutto.
Have a bottle of good quality extra virgin olive oil on the side and then another bottle of balsamic vinegar for drizzling. You could also have a pinch of black pepper on the side too.
Spring gifts, a big sale and a simple recipe. What more could you want for your Friday?!
You guys know how much I love cooking dinner for my family and having that time around the table each night, so when I read this about Our Place, I instantly knew it was a brand I could really support: At Our Place, we believe sharing a home-cooked meal is foundational to connection. We make products that connect people over home-cooking. Our collections are new heirlooms from the cultures and places that make up the fabric of the modern kitchen. We believe that there is a transformative power in uplifting the differences in how people cook and eat together. Our hope is that telling stories of tradition will bring the disparate edges of our world closer together.
