You guys, WE WENT TO OKTOBERFEST IN MUNICH YESTERDAY!
Holy cow!
HOLY COW!
Talk about checking off a bucket list item, IT WAS UNBELIEVABLY FUN!!!
Whew! So many blog posts and details to follow, but this trip over to Munich is one we’ve talked about for years and years, so to actually experience it was a once in a lifetime kind of thing for us and the Slaughters. We are clearly in Germany today, but don’t worry, I’m still blogging here all week long! You can catch the fun as it unfolds (and there is more fun ahead!) on my Instagram, but I will most certainly be blogging the details too.
In the meantime, my family makes an annual trek to our nearest and dearest Oktoberfests every September, but you can have it at home too!
Turn on Pandora and crank up a fun Oktoberfest station, whip up one of these recipes, grab a beer or two and have a celebration in your kitchen!
My Quick & Easy Oktoberfest Recipes are all you need for a delicious night in!
Easy Weeknight Wiener (or pork!!) Schnitzel
Easy Little German Sheet Tray Supper
Cheers from actual Oktoberfest in Germany to you!! xx

Shay, I keep thinking of you and Erika and hope that you are able to enjoy all the fun in Germany despite probably having to adjust a lot of vacations amid the hurricane in Florida! I hope you gals are balancing work and fun!

We are having so much fun! Thankfully, every trip we had in Florida has been rebooked. Weather is absolutely the worst enemy of travel. I hate what’s happening to residents there in Central Florida right now.

I need to start creating ambiance with music, then maybe my people will eat some of the more exotic recipes.
