Hey, hey Friday!
Whew! Anyone else ready for the weekend?! Not only the weekend…our last HALLOWEEN WEEKEND! I just feel like it should be extra, extra fun. Between “youth sports life”, we’re going to make it festive.
I hope you all have a wonderfully festive weekend!! xx
You guys, I CANNOT STRESS TO YOU ENOUGH how much I love Wit & Wisdom jeans!! They are the best bang for your buck when it comes to jeans. I’ve been wearing them for years now, but recently, I’ve added more pairs to my closet in a variety of styles and washes. Over the years, I have purchased jeans that cost three times this amount, and I honestly prefer these to all of them.
THIS PAIR is slightly distressed and just fits to perfection. The waist isn’t too high or too low, they never stretch or sag. I love them. I say this all the time, but don’t forget, I recommend you size down one size. I normally wear a 2 in jeans, but I always buy this brand in a 0. Right now, this pair is 25% off too! MY BODYSUIT is super comfy too.
I am LOVING these Wit & Wisdom jeans that I showed you on Wednesday along with…
…these Wit & Wisdom jeans too! Again, size down on all of them!
It’s been a wonderful week of family! Thanks to my birthday, I was able to see some of my favorite people which was certainly a Fave…
I spent last Friday with my sweet Grandmother. You guys, she’s doing so well right now!
If you know us then you know, I am just like my Grandmother. She loves being a mom. She loves to entertain. She loves to travel. She loves to read. She loves holidays. She loves to exercise. She loves to cook. She has had the same set of best friends for over 50 years and loves them hardcore. My grandmother is ALWAYS busy and on the go.
On Christmas Day, she was at my house running up and down my stairs doing things with the kids, vacuuming up holiday wrapping paper mess, and had all the energy in the world…and then in January, she was diagnosed with cancer (not her first time…not related to the other). She has had a HARD year. A very, very, very hard year. It’s nothing short of a miracle that she drove over to meet me on Friday and spent the day shopping with me. The first thing she said to me when I walked up was “Where did you get your sweater, I want one too”, so we ordered her one. See? Two peas in a pod 🙂 .
Want to hear a crazy fact? I am almost the age she was when I was born. That’s pretty cool. She was a young grandmother that has been able to spend lots of extra time with me, her favorite grandchild (it’s okay if you tell the others, they know I’m her favorite too 😉 ).
On my actual birthday…
…all the Lowes came to McKinney for Smith’s football game (where K cheered) and…
…a very special dinner.
During my weekly Trader Joe’s run this week, I bought and loved these two new items…
…this roasted turkey and sweet potato burrito was the perfect lunch! It tasted like Thanksgiving dinner all wrapped up together which (as you know) is the only way I enjoy Thanksgiving dinner (all mashed up together). Delish!
This red pepper, cranberry & walnut dip was delish too! This was basically like a slightly sweet hummus. We enjoyed it with their Corn Dippers most of the time, but it was good with a cracker too. Try it!
Don’t forget, you can find ALL OF MY TRADER JOE’S FALL FAVES in one spot! This is a very comprehensive list of everythinggggg deliciously fall right now at our favorite store.
Did you catch my SEPTEMBER & OCTOBER BOOK REVIEW yesterday?!
I reviewed 7 books including two memoirs, a thriller, some chick-lit and more! You can read all about each book and my (strong) opinions on them HERE.
So many great things plus new seasonal items all on sale!
Finally, you need to check out…
…my WICKEDLY DELICIOUS HALLOWEEN MENU for 2022! From a cocktail to appetizers, salads, entrees and more, I have your easy and festive Halloween menu.
That wraps up this week’s Friday Faves! You guys, I’ll see you back here on HALLOWEEN!!!!!!
