Friends, no one panic…but it’s GO TIME at Trader Joe’s!
Whether you shop there year around (like me!), only shop seasonally or have never shopped at all, NOW IS THE TIME TO HEAD THERE. Between now and Christmas is when this store SHINES with seasonal finds your family will love.
Last week, when I was doing my weekly shopping, they already had so many great fall finds on the shelves BUUUUUUT when I was checking out, my store told me the majority of the main fall items were coming to our store this week. I decided that it was time to share all of my FALL FAVES from the past (and last week!) so that you know what to look for should you go this week or any other time between now and Thanksgiving.
As you’re making your shopping list today, make sure you check out these posts too so that you don’t miss a single amazing item: FALL FAVES 1, FALL FAVES 2 and FALL FAVES 3.
Alrighty…here we go…
Awwwww! Welcome to my local store. Isn’t it just happiness?! Last week, when I was there, I snapped a few pics of items that were in stock that I didn’t buy but wanted you to see…
My dogs love the pumpkin dog treats 🙂 . I had purchased some the week before, and they always get so happy to have one!
Fall cookies, coffee and more! Many of these don’t make it into my cart since they contain gluten, but they all look delish!
Like these 🙂 .
Yum!
I, of course, bought the GF Pumpkin Pancake/Waffle Mix and the syrup!
Needless too say, imagine how many amazing items are coming in this week if last week they told me “the best is still ahead!”?
Fingers crossed that a GF version is coming soon. In the meantime, make sure you grab these!
Annnnd…
…I’ve never seen these in store before, but oh my word, you should all buy them and report back to me please!
I would LOVE for a GF version of the Pumpkin Joe-Joes to come out! If you’re new to Trader Joe’s, the Joe-Joe is their version of an Oreo.
More goodness and then…
…everyone make sure you grab a bag of these so that you can make…
…my Fall Leaves Sausage Migas Breakfast Casserole.
So, those are a few things I saw in store last week and here are some of the items that came home with me…
Well holy cow, this was an amazing combination! I popped some of these dill pickle mini falafel into my air fryer for about five minutes, added them to about a third of the salad and…
…the most deliciously dill lunch was born 🙂 . One box and one bag of salad gave me enough for three lunches. AMAZING!
The possibilities are endless.
I buy their tomato soup all year long, but this is a very nice change-up during the fall season.
Yes, please!
I picked up a few adorable cards for the season. I’ve said this before, but I’ll say it again, they have the cutest selection of greeting cards.
For my office! I put a box upstairs next to my Keurig along with…
…this brown sugar creamer in my mini-fridge next to it!
These are staple items at our house this time of year…thank you Trader Joe’s for making so many delicious pumpkin items also gluten-free! The tea here is for my kiddos who love it in the morning.
Speaking of breakfast, this combination goes PERFECTLY with my favorite waffle iron…
I shared this waffle iron with you last year, but it certainly deserves another mention…
Yes, yes…
…YES! They turn out perfect every time!
And if you want to really spice things up, use this as a topping on your pumpkin waffles instead of syrup 🙂 .
Wow! That’s a lot of deliciousness for mid-September, no?!
Okay, don’t forget:
1. I really can’t stress enough that you need to also read my other Trader Joe’s Fall Faves posts too because you also need to add all of that to your shopping list: FALL FAVES 1, FALL FAVES 2 and FALL FAVES 3.
2. I’m going to Trader Joe’s TODAY, so if by chance I missed something, comment and tell me!!
3. I have an easy breakfast idea for you too this morning using yogurt from Trader Joe’s (but you could use another brand!)…
…see the details HERE.
4. Also, you need to check out my Trader Joe’s Fall Charcuterie Board today too…
…doesn’t this just make you HAPPY?!
…you can see all of the specifics HERE.
And if this really is your first time to shop…
…make sure you first check out my FIRST TIMERS GUIDE TO TRADER JOE’S which includes a printable shopping list!
That wraps up Trader Joe’s Tuesday! I’m seriously heading there today, so please comment and let me know if I need to pick something else up. I’ll see you tomorrow! xx

I have not seen it in my store yet this year, but be on the lookout for maple butter. Buy two as it typically sells out as soon as it hits the shelves 🙂
Kim says
Those pumpkin sticky toffee cakes…AMAZING…like Jesus dancing on your tongue!!
Mix and Match Mama says
This made me lol!!!
Sheaffer says
Dangit! I was there yesterday and forgot to get the dill pickle stuff. #nexttime
Elspeth says
I love these posts! I don’t have a TJ near me but whenever I go to one, I always refer to your posts!

I do not have a Trader Joe’s near by BUT my bestie and I are planning Trader Joe’s all things fall meet up day by her asap! Can’t wait to try all your goodies! Thanks for sharing!
Jill Dickinson says
My envy runs strong with these posts but I continue to read them thoroughly!! Haha. I live in New Brunswick, Canada and we do not have Trader Joes!!!
I enjoy them just wish I could get some of the stuff!!!
Kim says
Thank you for all the GF ideas! It is really helpful. I am going to get my GF daughter who is in college the mini waffle maker. Do you have a regular GF waffle mix that you like (besides the pumpkin)?
Mix and Match Mama says
I love Trader Joe’s regular GF mix too. Sometimes though, I’ll just use basic GF Bisquick!
Lindsay D. says
I’m crossing my fingers that the Pepper Jelly comes back in stock again soon! I thought I had heard this fall.
Mix and Match Mama says
It is back!! I bought six jars last week!!
Lindsay D. says
Awesome!! Thanks!! I’m heading there on Thursday. 🥳
Kacey says
Wow, wow, wow! This all looks delicious!!
Bri says
Your Trader Joe’s posts always make me wish we had one near us! 🙁 SO many great looking items!!!
Beth Valenta says
Where do I start? I went in the other day to the wonderful smell of the cinnamon broom (no small ones! ugg) and these are some of my favs….1. pumpkin spice teeny tiny pretzels, 2. roasted turkey and sweet potato burrito, 3. unexpected cheddar cheese spread…Finally came up with it in spread! 4. appetizer: mini spicy pumpkin samoas.
I LOVE their cards and flowers. Also a nod goes to their vanilla candle in the small tin. I throw one in everytime for gift baskets and bathrooms. Have a great day, changing temps here soon in Virgina and I can’t wait!
Lori Whittington says
I am in a Celiac group on Facebook and someone posted that TJ had the Gluten Free Pumpkin spice muffins in a pack of 4!! Like the Cinnamon Streusel ones we LOVE!!! I am making a trip this weekend for sure! 🙂
Mix and Match Mama says
No way?! That makes my heart so happy!
Sherry Kenney says
I tried those last week and I’m only slightly exaggerating when I say they were life changing!
Erika Slaughter says
AHHHH!!! I need to make a little trip over to TJ’s SOON!
Kathy says
I’m not gluten free, nor anyone in my family. BUT, I did notice scrolling through my King Arthur Baking catalog that they have a whole spread with gluten free products. If you are unaware, you should check it out.
Also, I’m a little skeptical about some of the TJ items. I mean, processed food is processed good, whether it’s from TJ or not. However enticing it is, everyone needs to be careful and read the labels so they know what they are consuming
Laura says
Just finished breakfast but somehow I’m hungry again…lol I think the cheese board got me! Looks great!
Andrea says
When it comes to seasonal shopping, NO ONE understands the assignment more than Trader Joe’s! Target does have my heart for one particular item though…the Nature’s Path Organic Gf Pumpkin Spice frozen waffles are so good!
BF says
Okay, I live in Montana, where there isn’t a single Trader Joe’s in the entire state! 😂😩
Every single time I read your Trader Joe’s posts, I literally drool with envy. I was in Salt Lake City in May and got to go to my first Trader Joe’s ever! It was so fun! I really wish we had one though because I love seasonal food!
Mix and Match Mama says
Awwwwwww! Montana needs a Trader Joe’s stat!
Cindy Moreland says
The GF cornbread mix is great. I buy several boxes to get me through the year since they only sell them in the fall.
Jennifer says
Has anyone see the canned pumpkin rolls yet to bake in the oven?? My girls love them!!
Amanda says
I’m not sure where you are located, but they did have them at my local store in Eastern Washington yesterday. It’s a little store so I would be surprised if other stores didn’t have them, too!
Maria says
What is the trick for checking out at Trader Joe’s? I’ve only been like twice and I feel like I’m doing something wrong with my cart location at check out and then get stressed out! What’s the secret??
Mix and Match Mama says
Go early in the morning when it’s not crowded. I think it’s much easier to navigate all aspects of the store when it isn’t crowded.
Ashley says
Their pumpkin cinnamon rolls that come in a can (not fresh bakery) are the best!!!
Jennifer says
Have you seen these out yet this year?? We love them!
Molly says
Love these posts! Our TJ’s had a new salted maple ice cream that was so so good! For those who don’t have Trader Joe’s, Aldi is a distant cousin in many respects and I see lots of the same similar fall seasonal items at Aldi each year, for the same or lower price. I’m a big fan of both stores!
Michele Murrell says
I appreciate your posts. Trader Joe’s is not that close to me, but I have several Aldi stores in the area. They have many GF products and some things that are similar to what you get at Trader Joe’s. Do you ever go to Aldi?
Mix and Match Mama says
I have never been in an Aldi. I don’t know why but I find them a bit intimidatingly!
Gail says
I know you have certain brands of candles you love, but have you tried the Trader Joe’s Pumpkin Vanilla candle? It smells so good!
Cristin says
Have you ever given a shout out to Trader Joe’s Garlic Cheese Bread Cheese? I am GF and I CRAVE that yummy taste of garlic cheese toast. This tastes just like it without the bread. We heat it up and serve it was salami and pepperoni. If you haven’t tried it, its a must buy.

Pumpkin mini ice cream cones are amazing and always sell out so quickly!!
Megan says
i love these TJ’s posts so much! (i always walk into TJ’s overwhelmed. Therefore, I appreciate the glimpses you provide!)
Wrong topic, but….. will you be doing an Apple Watch series 8 review? 🙂
Katrina says
My Trader Joe’s is in Houston and I live on the outskirts of town about 45 min away. I was there on Sunday so pulled up your page from last year. I wish I had one closer!!
Jan says
Sad to say that all TJ’s don’t carry the same goodies. I always have your lists on my phone but CT and TX don’t always match up.
Jan says
I just read that the cinnamon broom sitting in a car is a lovely way to “smell” fall.
Mix and Match Mama says
IT IS!!!!!
Carly says
I know it’s not TJ but the Goodie Girl GF brand has Pumpkin Spice oreo like cookie sandwiches this year
Sherry Kenney says
This all looks good!! I’m making another trip tomorrow. Is the falafel gluten free? That lunch sounds good!!
Mix and Match Mama says
It’s not. I just eat it at lunch when I’m home alone working.
Jasmine says
Wait so you mix the waffle mix and cider together??
Mix and Match Mama says
I do! Check out my recipe here: https://mixandmatchmama.com/2022/09/apple-butter-waffles-with-cider-syrup/
Kathy says
Get the pumpkin cream cheese!
Kristen Smith says
I love all of these ideas! One of my favorites from TJ’s this time of year is the pumpkin spiced pumpkin seeds. I am allergic to nuts and this is a delicious alternative to spiced nuts!
Nicole says
My Trader Joe’s had the gluten free pumpkin streusel muffins! Did you like the dill pickle chips on the salad? I see you added nuts!
Julie Harris says
You aren’t kidding about the dill pickle salad and dill falafel combo…it’s delicious!!!
Mix and Match Mama says
RIGHT?!?!?!
Heather says
I just tried their Waldorf Salad with Brown Sugar Maple Dressing (in the prepared salads section) and it was delicious! I think I love TJ’s most in the fall…such great seasonal options!
