You guys, it’s been a blur of a week. I don’t know about you, but I am in the mood for a WEEKEND!
Today, I have a very random assortment of Faves and, as always, I’m linking up with my friends Andrea and Erika .
There is a new episode of THE BESTIE BREAKDOWN out today, so make sure you take a listen on your favorite podcast platform. We cover a multitude of topics, buuuut my favorite is the delicious meal that Sheaffer brought to my house. You have to listen!
Cheers to Friday, y’all! I hope you have a great weekend! xx
Well, I had a scare and thought the back of my earring was jammed in my ear canal yesterday. Spoiler alert, it wasn’t.
I have to give my love and a shout out to my favorite local piercing parlor…
…The Magic Needle, oh how I love you. They are just THE BEST.
A favorite of mine this week was going inside and having these sweet people fix my piercing and put my mind at ease.
You guys know how much I’m loving…
…this easy WHITE TEE and PAIR OF SHORTS! Both are Target finds! The TEE IS ONLY $10 and comes in TEN DIFFERENT COLORS, and THE SHORTS come in other washes too! You can find MY COMFY SANDALS at Nordstrom.
Look how cute…
…the TEE pairs perfectly with…
…these TARGET TOTES!
Just so cute, right?! The quality of THIS TOTE in particular is supurb!
So many of my sweet friends have been loving on my girl this week!
On Monday, Erika and Bowen took Ashby to see a movie. She was SO EXCITED about leaving the house and going with them that I seriously almost bawled my head off.
On Wednesday to celebrate her first day back at school (and being drain-free!)…
…Ms. Sheaffer had the most delicious cookies delivered! You guys, she used Sparkle All Over Bakery and honest to goodness, I don’t think we’ve ever loved cookies more. They were all delicious, but the PB&J was insanely delish.
And then yesterday…
…sweet Jeni brought us this gorgeous and delicious homemade sourdough bread to our house. You guys, she brought it straight out of the oven. It was so warm and delicious. Smith said she needed to open a bread business, and we all agreed!
It’s one thing when my friends love on me, but when they love on my kiddos, that is just on another level. We are so incredibly blessed.
If you missed my APRIL BOOK REVIEW yesterday, make sure you check that out!

From our Easy Margaritas to our simple guacamole, you’ll find yummy fare for your May 5th!
And finally…
…remember two years ago when we headed off to Mexico to celebrate Andrew turning the big 4-0?! Well, I think it’s high time we do something fun like that again 🙂 .
My weekend is about to get realllly fun, but I will still be here on Monday, so make sure you come on back.
You guys, Monday is MAY 1ST which is one of my very favorite days of the year! Just like always, we’re going to do May BIG TIME over here in my blog world, so make sure you come back.
In the meantime, I hope your weekend is about to get fun too! See you in May! xx

I concur with the bakery idea. My family HAS GONE INSANE over Jeni’s bread as well. Fresh out of the oven with butter slathered all over it? YES, PLEASE!
Mix and Match Mama says
YES, PLEASE!!!

That bread is beautiful…
It is NOT the same, but years ago the Mary Jane Bread company had a factory near where I live. The early morning scent of bread being baked got carried in the wind and you could smell it for miles around. Fresh baked bread smells so so good.
Your favorite day of the year is my 24th wedding anniversary! So, yay! Maybe I should treat myself to one of those cute target bags.

Hello Shay! I have a random question. Does Jeni make GF sourdough? I am wondering because I am trying to make it and it is tricky! If she does, I wonder if she would share the recipe she uses?
Mix and Match Mama says
It’s my understanding that she does not specifically make g-free soudough.

Where is that brown cardigan from in the picture of you with the straw tote?!
Mix and Match Mama says
It’s a Madewell cardigan from Nordstrom!

What a scare with your earring, I am glad it ended well.
I love your outfits, especially that t-shirt. So simple but so pretty. How wonderful to have some delicious cookies delivered, they sound so good and that bread looks amazing!

Yesssssssss to the Target T-Shirt! I have it in green (wearing it today) and the color is just so vibrant and it’s such a great and casual fit. I’m all about a cute and comfy style shirt that can be worn with anything- especially jean shorts. Target FTW here! 🙌🏼
