I have two new movie recs for your Friday!
You know me, I’m looking for LIGHT AND HAPPY when I turn on my TV, so I’m always on the lookout for new movies to watch while I work/fold laundry/get ready in the morning. I have two for you today…

…I heard about this movie on a podcast and even though it’s a few years old, I had never seen it before which is crazy because it checks so many of my boxes! Set in France, delicious food throughout, Diane Lane in the staring role, gorgeous background music. Now, the podcaster did say that she loved it but that it was a bit “different” than your normal romcom movies. She basically put out a little disclaimer that you’ll like it but maybe won’t love it. I’m so happy she did because she set the bar low for me while also accurately describing my thoughts exactly. This movie is good (not great), but very easy to watch and just light. If you’re a Francophile too, you must watch.
The second movie I watched in April was…

…my friend Lauren told me that if I love Under the Tuscan Sun and Eat, Pray, Love, I would love this movie, and boy was she right! This is like an Under the Tuscan Sun but with a man in the staring role. Two big thumbs up!

More info on our trip to Turks coming up, but for now…

I love it so much!
You guys, it comes in several other colors, fits true to size (I bought it in an xs) and has a ton of stretch. LOVE IT!

A few pics from last weekend as we officially…

…wrapped up Madeley’s spring volleyball season. Coach Dad did a great job with our youngest! We were so proud of Mades and her team this season!
After volleyball, we headed over to…

…celebrate my sweet sister-in-law’s birthday!

The three of us always have such a good time together 🙂 . I think there were 26 people there, but we’re definitely the craziest of the group!

Finally, in honor of Cinco de Mayo today…

…my Taco Tot Bowls because it’s Friday, and I’m tired and this is delicious and oh so easy. You should really make it for dinner tonight!
And last but not least…

…in honor of our week in Turks and Caicos together, you should all FLASHBACK FRIDAY to 2019 when the four of us went to Greece!
That wraps up this week!
Buckle up, things are not getting any more calm in my world. I am going out of town two more times between now and next Friday! Eeeks! I’ll see you Monday here though. xx

Have you seen the Netflix movie “a tourist guide to love”? I think you would really like it- based on a travel agent who travels to Vietnam and finds love. Light and fluffy.

Fun Friday post! Don’t forget “One True Loves” for a good (not great) movie based on the book! It’s a little sad, but!, overall happy/warm feels. And she works in a bookstore so…
Happy weekend to you!

Shay how do you do it all?? How?? I’m really starting to believe you’re super human lol!!! If I have a trip two months from now I have to stop living because there IS A TRIP coming up! 🥴 Or if I have plans on Saturday I can’t do anything from Wednesday on ha!! You are inspiring and also make me feel so helpless! All in good fun, a little Friday funny for ya, but not really 🤦♀️
Mix and Match Mama says
I just took two Advil, Kim. Some days, I do “all the things” well. Today, I feel a bit overwhelmed and like I was hit by a truck. Some days, do the opposite of what I do 😉 . Agh! YOU have the best Friday!

Haha this made me chuckle. I love your zest for life. I also love how real you are. No matter how crazy my schedule gets from time to time, I never miss your posts. Much love from Michigan ❤️

Have you ever posted about photo storage? Or do any of your readers have any suggestions?
Tired of the “no more storage” on my phone message. iCloud is irritating the way they delete pictures and as someone who has had a computer crash years ago and photos from a two year period were lost, I’m just looking for a nice place to dump photos off my phone, delete some, keep some, clean things up, that sort of thing. Thank, Shay!
Mix and Match Mama says
I haven’t posted. I have about 5 billion photos on my phone. I don’t even know where to begin! agh!

Sandi, if you are an Amazon Prime member, they offer free photo storage. All the photo organizers I follow online say it’s the best because they don’t compress file size. It doesn’t do all videos (even if you pay the $20/year extra video storage fee, there is a limit) but it’s a good option if you already do Prime! You just get the prime photos app and it will auto sync – probably takes awhile the first time. Also, making Chatbooks is pretty quick and has been nice to have photos in print somewhere in case of loss. Oh, and finally, I just upgrade my iCloud to whatever amount is necessary, too. I figure I’d gladly pay $10/month retroactively if I lost my phone!
