Hey, hey Friday!
It’s the last day of June, friends! Guess how I’m going to celebrate? After today, I’m going to take a few days off and spend a long weekend with my peeps over this July Fourth holiday. As much as I LOVE connecting with you guys, I feel like I need a minute to just focus on my family and enjoy some non-computer related time. I will be back here in blog world on Thursday, July 6th. In the meantime, before I head out, here are some Faves from my week. As always, I’m linking up with my friends Andrea and Erika.
I hope you have a WONDERFUL WEEKEND and a FABULOUS holiday! Sending you much love! xx
We are so excited to have sweet Ebby Lee is in town visiting!
What do you do that’s super exciting for two teenage girls?
You take them to Lululemon on Martha’s Vineyard 🙂 .
Kensington has been wanting to take the boat over to the Vineyard (about an hour ferry from Nantucket) to do some shopping in Edgartown (one of MV’s charming little towns), so we did that yesterday. We left on the 10:30 boat and were back for dinner. It was a really fun little adventure for our family. With the dogs, it’s not super easy to stay anywhere overnight, but this gave us a “day-cation” without having to board anyone.
This week, I watched the movie Destination Wedding on a whim. I’m not sure why I had never heard of it before, but it came across my radar, and since I really like Keanu Reeves, I thought I would give it a try. It’s VERY unique! The only people who have dialogue in the entire movie are the two of them (although, you see a lot of other people in the background). I’m not saying I just love it to death (honestly, I’ll probably never watch it again), but as someone who enjoys a RomCom, this one was cute enough that I’m suggesting it to the adults out there. It was enjoyable to watch while I worked/took a bath/etc.
I’m not allowed to post any surf lesson pictures as teen boy has yet to give me permission, BUT I am allowed to say it’s one of my Faves this week 🙂 .
Smith has been taking surfing lessons now for two solid weeks and well, we are officially the proud owners of both a board and a wetsuit. He absolutely loves it! We all know that he loves snowboarding, and well, now I see why so many snowboarders are surfers and vice versa…he has the same passion for this as well.
I love it when my kids try new things and love it!
Looking for some cute summer outfit inspirations?! I pulled together my favorite color combination for this time of year and created some oh so cute collages if I do say so myself 🙂 .
This is my summer uniform on repeat 🙂 .
Just take a look…
Yesterday was my JUNE BOOK REVIEW! Even if you read the post yesterday, you need to go back and read the comment section today! It’s the best place to find a book recommendation on the internet 🙂 .
On Wednesday, both Andrea and Erika blogged about the podcast Scamanda, so I immediately had to listen too. Oh my goodness, it’s so good! I’m not finished with it yet, but I am so.sucked.in. If you like suspenseful podcast series, you will love this one!
That wraps up my week! I will see all of you back here on THURSDAY, JULY 6TH! In the meantime, I hope you have a wonderful, wonderful July 4th. Sending you so much love! xx
