It’s a super fun What’s Up Wednesday because it’s the day before THANKSGIVING!
Bahahahaha! I mean, not me, we’re having an untraditional Thanksgiving meal this year (you can read about it HERE)! Tell me, what are you doing? Traditional or untraditional? Inquiring minds want to know 🙂 .
Okay, as always, on the last Wednesday of every month, Sheaffer and I host this little linky party where we share what’s going on with us right now. It’s a little food, a little family, a little what we’re wearing, a little what we’re doing, a little what we’re watching and a little bit of everything else all in one post.
Here we go…
1: WHAT WE’RE EATING THIS WEEK:
Did you catch my Thanksgiving inspired Meal Planning Monday this week? It was my 400th MEAL PLANNING MONDAY! Make sure you check it out because several of the recipes are excellent with Turkey Day leftovers!
Also, make sure you check out yesterday’s post…
…for allllllllll of my Thanksgiving recipes in one place!!
2. WHAT I’M REMINISCING ABOUT:
For some reason this pic popped up on my phone the other day and melted my heart into a puddle. She was three. Ugh. Three! Look at that precious baby girl! She was (and is!) the SWEETEST!!!!!!
3: WHAT I’M LOVING:
My phone case and THE MOST PERFECT POP SOCKET EVER. Like ever. In the history of the world. IT’S PERFECT FOR ME 🙂 .
4: WHAT WE’VE BEEN UP TO:
Enjoying our people this Thanksgiving break! It’s so nice to have everyone home together for the holiday break. I’m trying to soak it all up.
5: WHAT I’M DREADING:
It’s my favorite time of the year…I’m extra perky right now. Ha!
I guess you could say that I’m dreading when it’s over?
I just really love this season.
6: WHAT I’M WORKING ON:
Ohhhhhhhh friends! Sheaffer and I are busy working on this year’s Five Days of Fabulous!!
This year, we’re doing things differently, but we think you’ll LOVE IT! Stay tuned! The fun begins December 6th!
7: WHAT I’M EXCITED ABOUT:
Tomorrow is Thanksgiving!!!
Food.
Football.
The parade.
So many of my favorite things in one day!
We have such a great long weekend ahead with both sets of our parents, and I’m super pumped about it.
8: WHAT I’M WATCHING/READING:
My November Book Review will happen next week! In the meantime, I’m watching allllllll the Hallmark Christmas movies!
Have you seen this one?
Ashby and I watched it over the weekend. It was SO CUTE!!! Please give me other recs so I can set my DVR!
9: WHAT I’M LISTENING TO:
Right this minute? Frank Sinatra sing The Christmas Waltz 🙂 .
10: WHAT I’M WEARING:
Lots of cozy finds! These Abercrombie sweaters (really, they feel more like a sweatshirt) are always ones I wear on repeat each and every season. They come in a variety of colors and patterns, but this neutral one spoke to me this year. They run TTS. Right now, Abercrombie is having a HUGE SALE too!! Of course, you know how much I love these boots too!
I shared this coat on Stories the other day! This was my first Bernardo purchase, and I was BLOWN AWAY by how nice it was (especially because it prices better than so many other quality puffer coats). I love that it has a fleece vest lining on the inside, the hood, the fleece lined pockets. I loved the length…seriously, so impressed! I bought TTS (xs) and think it fits well enough for a sweater layer underneath too. Win, win! You can find my hat HERE. It comes in other colors, but this color looked very November and December to me 🙂 .
Hellllllllllo fleece pullover hoodie. Yes, yes, yes! It’s so cozy, it’s a bit longer so it worked great with my leggings. Oh my word. Love. This would make a great holiday gift for girls of all ages. It also comes in black.
Another Abercrombie find 🙂 . How cozy is my sweater? Also on big time sale today! And so is…
…this one too! All of these Abercrombie finds come in multiple colors and run TTS. I bought them all in xs.
Finally, I’m loving this loungewear (also on sale!)…
…let’s be real, it’s not even really loungewear since I did wear it into church to drop off my kids at an event. It’s so cute, right?! This was my first time to wear their ribbed leggings and I loved them so much that I bought them in a second color (the taupe one). I was really blown away by the fit and quality of both the sweater/sweatshirt top and the leggings!! Both are on sale today too 🙂 .
11: WHAT I’M DOING THIS WEEKEND:
EVERYTHING CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
12: WHAT I’M LOOKING FORWARD TO NEXT MONTH:
SEE ABOVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😉

Happy Thanksgiving! My family will be having two traditional Thanksgiving meals. One with my parents, then another with my in-laws?. As for Hallmark movies, we watched My Family Christmas Tree, and it was a sweet movie. Also, it’s an older one, but 12 Gifts of Christmas is good.
Chrissy says
Happy Thanksgiving! The last Hallmark we all enjoyed was Next Stop, Christmas. We knew a lot of the locations as it was filmed in southern CT.
Michelle O says
You want Christmas movies to DVR…try Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, Lifetime, Up channel and GAC (Great American Channel). Between all of these and DVRing just the new movies, I am all set for all the Christmas movies I can handle! LOL.
My family will be having the traditional Thanksgiving dinner, but I will be having my first vegan-plant based dinner. I’m really looking forward to it!
I wish you and your family and blessed Thanksgiving.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Hi Shay!
Curious question – I need a new wallet – do you have recommendations? I have a lot of cards that I carry ( restaurant gift cards) and just cannot find one that olds everything so my cards slip in horizontally!!!
I’d love a suggestion – or a what’s up Wednesday!!! Many thanks! Love your blog – will start podcasts soon!

Sydney, do you think this could be made a day ahead, and then put in a buffet warmer? My mom and I are trying to be organized this year and do lots of prep ahead of time.
Mary says
Hi! Can you link your necklace you are wearing in the Abercrombie white sweater (the bathroom picture)? Thank you!
