Happy Friday, friends!
I mean, right?!
This entire last week has been a little chaotic…we headed home, it was 178 degrees outside, we did all the things to get the kids ready for back to school, we’ve been to three different orthodontists’ offices, did I mention that it’s 178 degrees outside and then the kids started school. I would be lying if I didn’t say I didn’t get quite the rush yesterday when I went into my nice, big, quiet office and sat there for seven hours uninterrupted and just worked. I love, love, love having my kids at home…but I also love having my music, my candle, my coffee, my dogs and my work to myself all day 😉 .
Cheers to the weekend, y’all! If you’re in education out there, BIG FAT CHEERS TO THE WEEKEND! xx
First up, on Nantucket, I started borrowing K’s shoes (which she left outside the front door because you know…heaven forbid kids put their shoes away) and FELL IN LOVE. I ordered me a pair for McKinney and have worn them every single day since I’ve been home…
…THESE SANDALS are so, so, so comfy!!!! I’ve worn them to and from yoga (as seen here)…
…I’ve worn them to the grocery store, to pick up my kids from school, to the dermatologist and on many, many walks. They come in so many colors (I bought them in MISTY PINK), and what I’m doing is just leaving them by my back door as my “go-to” shoe for heading out for walks/play/quick errands when I don’t really want to put on “actual” shoes. Kensington wears hers (she has them in BONE) all the time and now, I see why. An easy Fave!
On Tuesday night, I made one of my family’s favorite dinners, MY FRIED RICE (I used chicken instead of shrimp this time)…but I made the entire thing in my OVEN PAN! This was SO EASY to use for dinner and easy for clean up too. It was a one-dish wonder!
I just turned on two burners, placed my OVEN PAN across both, browned up my chicken, add my veggies and then I stirred in the frozen Trader Joe’s Jasmine Rice (I heated it in the microwave and stirred it in hot) at the very end. I mean, stupid easy. Smith told me this was his new favorite dinner. I am so happy that I now have one of these OVEN PANS here as well as Nantucket. I’m going to be using it all the time.
I’ve had so many questions about my hair health this summer, and you guys, the only difference I’ve made has been taking Nutrafol!
I mentioned this on Stories back in the spring, but now, I’m on month four and truly, truly love it. My hair, my skin and my nails are so much healthier, I’m sleeping great and this is the only thing I’ve added. If you’ve always wanted to try it, right now, Nutrafol is allowing my readers to receive $50 off your first three-month order or $106 off a six-month supply if you use MY LINK. I really, really have loved the results!
You guys, I went to buy myself yet another CREAMY BRONZER as I was just about out and saw that my #1 FAVORITE BRONZER is on sale right now for only $14!
I mean, H-E-L-L-O! I wear this every day and have for YEARS! Right now, it’s 50% off!
So many DMs this week about my TENNIS SKIRT 🙂 .
It’s Vuori (of course!) which means it fits TTS, is comfy, washes and dries well, and the quality is amazing. Love it! I wore it this week with a VUORI TANK too. This summer, I have worn Vuori EVERY.SINGLE.DAY.
New school year and mom got new kicks too!
Teen One and Teen Two told me I needed to improve my sneaker game for this fall. I wear sneakers to all four of their sporting events, so when I saw these and tried them on, I was sold. I did go up half a size and do think they fit better that way…so just an FYI! They’re super cute AND comfy!
Wrap up your week with my 25 BACK TO SCHOOL BREAKFAST BITES!
From savory to sweet, small bites, hearty bites, casseroles, nibbles, quick fixes and so much more, I’m sharing TWENTY FIVE recipes your family might want to enjoy on a busy school morning…or a lazy weekend. See them all HERE!
You guys, I’ve been to Walt Disney World the last TWO FALLS, and so, I’m thinking about it BIG TIME right now…
We had SUCH a magical time celebrating her 7th birthday at Disney 🙂 .
It’s the perfect combination for me…travel, Walt Disney World and F-A-L-L!
And then just last September…
…Kensington and I went to celebrate her 14th birthday!
This fall, Disney is not on my calendar. Boo. That being said, I’m going to get it on my calendar STAT for next year. If you are interested in heading to Walt Disney World (or Disney Cruise Line!) this fall, holiday season or next year too, CONTACT US!!! My amazing DISNEY TEAM would LOVE to send you on a magical vacation.
That wraps up this week!
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend! I’ll see you MONDAY! xx
