Happy happy Friday! It’s SHAY’S ULTIMATE TRADER JOE’S CHRISTMAS POST!
I love Trader Joe’s all year long, but I really, really, extra, extra love it right now. One of my guilty pleasures is going early in the morning and strolling. Did you read my post on Wednesday? This is one of my favorite ways to unwind.
Grab a coffee and settle in if you haven’t been yet, you will want to head there straight away when we’re done.
Okay, make a list, check it twice and go grocery shopping. Here are my favorite finds from Trader Joe’s during the holiday season…
Just a bite of this after dinner is the perfect dessert! If you like the Williams-Sonoma version, you will love this too (and the price!). It’s also in a really cute tin so it makes an excellent holiday gift.
I have been using both and LOVE THEM! It’s a creamy peppermint fragrance so not too strong…just perfect.
The cutest cards. I mean…THE CUTEST cards.
Yes, yes! You need these to stir your…
…hot cocoa! The directions say to add with water, but we’ve been adding it with warm milk. Speaking of which…
…grab you some peppermint hot chocolate and peppermint mini marshmallows too!
Nothing goes better with cocoa than…
…these chocolate covered minty marshmallows! Again, one little bite is decadent enough to be the perfect after dinner treat!
Sheaffer told me to…and I did!! She suggested putting it on a cracker with some cheese. Let me say, a cracker with cheese, some of this amazing goodness and a bit of chopped green onion will make you SO HAPPY!!! It really could do a billion things for you this holiday season!
Perfect on your Christmas charcuterie board or with dip!
Well, they swapped out the leaf chips for festive stockings and trees. If you buy these chips, make sure you make this…
…my Sausage Migas Breakfast Casserole 🙂 . Yours will be fun because it will be all Christmas-y!
This right here, in my opinion,…
…is their BEST holiday item. Jingle Jangle. So, this is not gluten-free and therefore, for years, I didn’t buy it. But I promise you when I say, IT’S THE MOST SUGGESTED TRADER JOE’S ITEM FROM YOU TO ME EVER. Seriously, I’ll post on here or Instagram in like July and say “what should I buy from Trader Joe’s” and a dozen of you will comment back and say “well, it’s not in season, but when it is, make sure you buy Jingle Jangle”. It’s like they took every cookie, popcorn, cracker, candy they make all year long, poured chocolate over it and stuck it in the tin. It is amazing. This week, I bought EIGHT TINS! I bought some for us and some to gift. It’s delicious and festive and oh so amazing.
This year, they also have…
…Jingle Jangle for dogs!! My four pups LOVE it!
It has their Unexpected Cheddar in it. YUM!!!!
You should buy both the Black Pepper Toscano Cheese and…
…the Toscano dusted with cinnamon. YUM! We also bought this to go on our board…
…the White Truffle Popcorn! We’ve already enjoyed the entire bag!
These Candy Cane Chocolate Covered Almonds! They’re so delish!! I have already purchased three bags this year!
Mades and I used these in a pie! They are really, really good! They’re a white chocolate chip flavored peppermint. Delish!
Just do it. Trust me. Do. It.
So festive, right?! AND GLUTEN-FREE!! It’s an individual portion size too, so if you’re looking for just one g-free dessert/breakfast to have on hand for someone, here you go! Speaking of which…
Whether you buy the g-free version or the “normal” version, buy them. Just buy them.
Kensington says these tasted like “eating the North Pole”. We all loved these so much, but our g-free girl especially loved them!! She even gave them as gifts to a few friends!
This year…
…we enjoyed these guys…
…on our cocoa!
I know I missed a ton of things because truly from gingerbread houses to beautiful tins of cookies and candies, festive spirits and SO MUCH MORE, right now Trader Joe’s is the perfect spot for grabbing gifts and/or items for entertaining. Please comment and share your “must have” item this season!! Please comment and share!
Have the best weekend! xx

I love this and am so excited to be heading there this morning! I really love gifting their “chocolate passports” as well. It’s a really fun way for a unique gift. 🥰
Thank you for spreading joy on a cold Friday morning!!!

This time of year I love the lemon ricotta cheese. So so yummy! And the cranberry orange relish you shared is always on our Thanksgiving table!
Mix and Match Mama says
I have not tried the lemon ricotta. Is it in a tub by the other cheeses? I’m so intrigued!
SANDRA OLDEN says
The black pepper Toscano cheese is the best.

This year they have (at least in the stores in my area) smaller bags of Jingle Jangle – it’s perfect for a sweet treat on the go.
Sandy M says
I got these to add to stockings too!

My absolute favorite Trader Joe’s item is the peppermint loaf! I stock up on them and make one every week in the winter!

I went to TJs and bought 5 tins of Jingle Jangle… 4 to gift and one for my fam to check out for the first time! Thanks for preaching it! 😁😁😁

I so agree! Just walking around Trader Joes makes me giddy. My new favorite finds for blue cheese lovers are these blue cheese potato chips, they come in a smaller bag and Oh my goodness yummy, and the french onion popcorn is new and equally great. I have been getting the french vanilla lip balm as cute stocking stuffer and they also have a cute snowman with little plant coming out of his head. So adorable!

I live 2 hours away from the closest TJ. We just left there as we were in the city for a concert. I l
Do like the cranberry orange relish, but I didn’t see it today. I love their dark chocolate covered espresso beans. I spent over $100 on GF items for a friend. TJ’s has SO many GF PRODUCTS!

Love all the seasonal things, but my fave has to be the truffles!!! It’s an assorted mix, but the popcorn flavored truffle is AMAZING!! Sounds weird, but trust me, it’s delish! The other flavors are all really good too!
Jen says
Any other holiday charcuterie board suggestions? I’m tasked with making one!
Mix and Match Mama says
Do you have a great pepper jelly on there? What about a little popcorn, the rosemary nuts from Trader Joe’s, I love adding some cranberries and springs of rosemary this time of year too.
Jess says
The dark chocolate shortbread stars – and the mini mint version. So yummy!

The dark chocolate covered marshmallows with candy cane crunch on the outside (blue box) get my vote for best seasonal candy! (Well, also the candy cane almonds). They are different from the box you mentioned above-fyi! Also, I tried the new lip butter duo (mint and brown sugar) and they are lovely. Oh, and we always grab a Kringle for a little sweet to have with coffee over the weekend! It is so fun to shop there now!
Jess says
Their body butter is part of my favorite things gift for my favorite things party! Loved every scent I purchased this year! It’s as good as any other high end body butter I’ve tried!
Emma says
So many great ideas! I need to get to Trader Joe’s stat. When I read your caption about the meringues, if it’s ok to ask – I was wondering if that means Kensington gluten free again?
Mix and Match Mama says
No, she’s not. She’s still doing okay!

There is a VERY VERY yummy cranberry pepper jelly from Stonewall Kitchen. I found it first at my local grocery store over the holidays last year and then became the crazy lady that ordered a case of it. It is delicious with some chive and onion cream cheese on crackers. The sweet and hot hits just right. Now I need to decide if I am also crazy enough to drive over an hour to get to the nearest Trader Joes and get the Harvest Apple salad. I had it last year and then
searched and searched for something to replicate the apple vinaigrette. Sadly, my quest was unsuccessful.
Mix and Match Mama says
Yay!! Thank YOU!!

I never go to my Trader Joe’s (19 miles away), but you make me think I need to!! I put it on my calendar for Tuesday. I’ll take your list 💕

I love the gingerbread sandwich cookies!! ☺️

This is the 2nd year in a row that I didn’t find the Christmas tortilla chips. It seemed like they had the fall ones for quite a good while but if they had these, I missed it.

Sad Canadian over here…. Once again living vicariously through you, enjoying seeing all of your fun TJ items! Sigh…. lol! Other than your book reviews, your TJ posts are my fave, even though we don’t have TJ in Canada…. Who knows? We now have Chick-fil-A, Chipotle and Krispy Kreme donuts, so maybe one day my living vicariously through you will actually become reality…. A girl can dream, right? 😜
Darcy says
The absolute VERY BEST item at TJ’s right now is the Almond Danish Kringle! Honestly, get it while you can and enjoy with their Maple Chicken Breakfast Sausage…such an absolute morning treat!!!
Mix and Match Mama says
Whaaaaaat? I need to try that!
~B~ says
Currently sitting here looking at a box of them, but have you tried the Jingle Jangle Pretzel Twists? Thanks to your recommendation, we love the Jingle Jangle and added these pretzel twists to my cart too. Now I just need to figure out what to do with them – they are significantly sized, but oh so much holiday fun! I cannot wait to now try to orange cranberry relish – yay!
Mix and Match Mama says
I have not! I am so intrigued though. I need to get some ASAP!
