My random pics around town are always a favorite of mine each week during the summer…
…like breakfast with my boy! Smith had friends leave on Friday and then worked all day Saturday and Sunday and then had another friend come on Monday…so I was thrilled to get a minute with him for breakfast in between. Geez, I love this kid.
We love beach days! Mades is always drawing and…
…Ashby is always reading 🙂 .
All the boats are back. I just LOVE looking at boats. From dinghies to cruise liners, boats fascinate me.

Our happy place!
I shared this three years ago, but we decided to *try* and only hang things on our walls here on Nantucket that we purchased on island. I especially like adding details from local artists and shops. We have slowly but surely added a few pieces including…
…a few in the dining area. I shared in THIS POST all of the details/resources about our kitchen including the art by our sweet friend Pete (he does the fish prints!), but we added a few other details this season.
We updated our table setting and added a few more things on the wall.
Our placemats and napkins are from the very popular shop called Nantucket Looms (it’s been on island over 50 years!)…
…and our plates are from a shop called Centre Pointe. Each dinner plate has the name of a different beach here on island…
…here are just a few 🙂 .
We also added…
…a painting of the harbor from Anderson’s Nantucket along with…
…clay horseshoe crabs from Sylvia’s Antiques. They weird and quirky and found here on Nantucket (the artist used deceased ones he found as the molds).

…this REFY PRIMER. Kensington had it and told me to try it…I loved it so much that when we went to Hyannis, I bought myself some. I put it over my sunscreen and under my foundation.
We have been using this SALT & STONE lotion and body wash in the upstairs bathroom. It smells like summertime at the beach.
And speaking of amazing smells…
…I am still obsessed with my DAE HAIRSPRAY. Not only does it work really well, it smells like the most delicious tropical vacation.
I love getting photos, videos and feedback from our clients. Right now, we are getting SO MANY amazing pictures from clients disembarking from their Alaskan cruises. This sweet family sent the most amazing photos and details about their trip. I had to share just a bit of it…

Seeing all of these pictures of Smith (even if it is just a forearm or part of a leg 😂) is making me SAD thinking about how quickly these babies grow up. I have four of my own (10, 7, 4, and 4 months) and every bit of it is breaking my heart and making it whole all at once!

Love the local art idea and your choices are great/ coastal. I know readers love to look at your pictures for inspiration – a corner banquette instead of a long table would be a great choice for this set up. It would allow for some storage in banquette, frees up walking space.. I love using them in multi use spaces. Sunbrella fabric cushion works great inside.

The table settings are very pretty. Especially the plates with beach names. I feel like those will be heirlooms. Here’s a practical question. Do you leave your table set like this until you use it, or did you do that for us to see it?

Right now, I’m leaving it set, and we’re using plates, washing and replacing (because I feel like someone is always eating). When we leave for the season, I will put them away.

I have questions about place settings. Do you use them for each meal and after washing them, you put them back? Or just for dinner? I try to not be crazy precious about things here, so we use them for whatever…dinner, if they want one with their lunch, etc. Then we just wash they and put them back.
