Happy What’s Up Wednesday!
You guys, tomorrow is DECEMBER!
I have all the emotions: excitement, stress, giddiness, exhaustion, hunger, fullness, joy and more joy. I love December 🙂 .
As always, on the last Wednesday of every month, Sheaffer and I host this little linky party where we share what’s going on with us right now. 1: WHAT WE’RE EATING THIS WEEK:
This week’s MEAL PLANNING MONDAY is all about the slow cooker! Pull it out, plug it in and let it be your elf in the kitchen this season. When we have so many *extra* things on our plate right now, we don’t need to fuss with complicated dinners too. This week’s meal plan keeps things easy and delicious too!

2. WHAT I’M REMINISCING ABOUT:
Mix and Match Travel Agency’s trip to Walt Disney World!
I wanted to do something special for my team who has worked SO HARD this year, so I decided a magical vacation to Walt Disney World would be the perfect thing!
You guys, this was one of my VERY favorite trips! We had such a great time! I love Disney for family time, but it was the perfect spot for adults too.
We stayed at the Wilderness Lodge, ate yummy food, visited spots we normally wouldn’t take the kiddos and rode a million rides. The best part though? How much we laughed and laughed and laughed. It was just the best group of ladies, and I’m so thankful for each one of them.
Our ears, tees and sweatshirts are all Etsy finds.
Disney World during the holidays?! Even more fabulous!

This was the first of hopefully many trips together. We truly had the best time!
3: WHAT I’M LOVING:
Give me all the fleece right now. These cozy tops (like THIS ONE) keep me warm and comfy all day long.
How cute is this fleece with the navy trim?! It also comes in multiple colors.
And look at this fleece too! I wore my tall boots and headed off to dinner with my family. It’s just the coziest top!

4: WHAT WE’VE BEEN UP TO:
We had so much fun on our town square Friday night for the annual Home For The Holidays event and tree lighting!
Stopping to get our faces painted was a must 🙂 .
We also had to stop by the “fry anything” vendor for Smith’s fried Twinkie.

I love so many McKinney events, but this weekend here is always one of my very favorite!
5: WHAT I’M DREADING:

Yesterday was my NOVEMBER BOOK REVIEW! I reviewed three holiday books and then one A-MAZING book that you all should read. Make sure you got back and catch my review (and the comments!) HERE!
9: WHAT I’M LISTENING TO:
Right this very minute, I’m sitting on my couch typing this and watching (again) Daddy’s Home 2 with Smith. You guys, this is the funniest Christmas movie you’re probably not watching. It’s HYSTERICAL! We’ve now seen the first one too (not a holiday movie), and it’s funny too, but the second one is our favorite and very Christmas-y. You do not have to see the first one first to understand what’s going on in the second one.
10: WHAT I’M WEARING:

My uniform is on repeat! How cute is this sweatshirt?!
This sweater here is an oldie but a goodie! It comes in so many fun colors too!
I love this sweater with my faux leather leggings (on sale!) and Sorel booties!
And finally, how cute is this sweater from Target?! It also comes in other colors including two that are very Christmas-y!
11: WHAT I’M DOING THIS WEEKEND:
Well Christmas-y things FOR SURE! ‘Tis the season!
12: WHAT I’M LOOKING FORWARD TO NEXT MONTH:
I’m not ready (yet) to look forward to next month. I like January just fine and will appreciate its slow pace and lighter schedule, but for now, I’m going to try really hard to remain present in December.
13: FAVORITE AMAZON PURCHASE THIS MONTH:
I tried this dress on but don’t have a photo (yet, I’ll take one!). I really love this dress from Amazon! Isn’t it cute?! I thought it was super flattering and very easy to wear. It comes in other colors, but I bought it in black.

Just wanted to share if your into fleece 1/4zips, check out vineyard vines. They have amazing holiday ones, but there is one in particular that is bright orange and pink that screams your name.

Wow I didn’t realize how much Smith is growing up and maturing. That one picture of him with the Twinkie makes him look like he is at least 15 or 16. He is a good looking kid. Gonna have to watch out for them girls….lol

It looks like you all had a great time at Disney World! We were there also and came home on the same flight. I met Erica (recognized her voice before I saw her) before the flight and saw you after the flight as we were heading out. You two are just as cute in person. Our family, including our 2 yr old granddaughter, also had a lot of fun. It was the best seeing her in such a magical place.
I’m not interested in wrapping when I can use a pretty bag. 😀

So happy you love daddy’s home 2! My cousin (John morris)wrote and directed the movie with his business partner. They just released spirited! It was good too! It’s on Apple TV. Now I need to watch daddy’s home 2 again…..

When I saw the picture of all your kiddos sitting on the bench, Kensington looked so much like your sweet niece Mia! I think that’s adorable. I guess it makes sense since you always say she takes after her auntie Shay. 🙂

My husband and I did an adults only Disney trip years and years ago when my oldest was starting Kindergarten and it was Fabulous!! I’ve always wanted to visit during the holiday season and see the decorations in person. The tree lighting event looks wonderful.

Congratulations on winning the award. My family was at Disney World December 17- 22. It was the first time for our 2 1/2 year old granddaughter. We had so much fun seeing everything through her eyes. I hope you and your family have a wonderful holiday season!

The first day, I wore Nikes and they were comfy enough but those Puma’s that I wore on days 2 and 3 are from last year and are SO COMFY!!
