Yesterday, our sweet Madeley James turned ELEVEN!
I’m sure I sound like a broken record, but Madeley is the exclamation point at the end of the Shull family.
She’s joyful, funny, upbeat, positive, oh so sweet, super smart, energetic, and kind.
Madeley is very artistic and always creating something.
She loves anything cozy.
She would eat tacos for every meal.
Madeley loves to read.
Browsing through Sephora is her favorite little activity with mom (or Lovie or big sis).
Madeley is thoughtful.
She has the biggest heart.
Our family would unanimously agree that Madeley loves BIG.
This year for her birthday, Mades opted for an experience over a party and gifts and well, I couldn’t be happier about that!
I am going to take tomorrow off from blogging, but I will be on Facebook and Instagram, so make sure you follow along there. I’ll post pics of our fun time together at Disneyland 🙂 .
I cannot wait to get some extra one on one time with my ELEVEN YEAR OLD!

Miss M….if you haven’t read any books by Mr.James Ponti (City Spies{6 of them}, Framed Triology, and Sherlock Society {2}, and Dead City Trilogy (this one has to do with the undead or zombies…good but just know this. Story is good, though!) check them out!! Our kiddo has read them all and I have too. 😆 They are fun reads!

Here are two little things I know about Madely: 1. A few years ago you had a tshirt with tacos on it and she asked you if she could have it when she was a mom. 2. She wears little layered necklaces like her mom does, one of (I think) Nantucket and one with her initial. This is a girl who clearly loves her mama! Her sweetness shines through this virtual platform and makes me smile. 🙂

Wow what an awesome way to celebrate turning 11! Happy birthday Madeley! Fun fact: in the summer of 1976 I was almost 6 years old. My parents decided to take me and my aunt who was 14 (I was an only child at the time) on a cross country trip from Kentucky to California; one week there and one week back. Destination….Disneyland! We drove my dads new 1975 Chevy truck single cab. Yes 4 of us in the front seat LOL! We stopped at camp grounds along the way and slept on our RV cushions in the back of the truck which had a topper on the bed. My dad didn’t want to pull our camper that far. Oh what an adventure that I still remember to this day almost 50 years ago!
