It’s a bonus travel post for our TRAVEL TUESDAY today!
First up, I’m sharing DISNEYLAND & DWTS: PART THREE which was the biggest and best day, plus, I also thought I’d open up my suitcase and show you what/how I packed for my one night in Boca Raton last week.
Because why not?
I love random posts like this, so hopefully you do too.
I was only in Boca one night, so I…

…I grabbed a big tote, my carry on suitcase and headed off.
I have blogged about both WHAT I KEEP IN MY CARRY ON BAG and WHAT MY KIDS PACK IN THEIRS, so if you want a broad overview of what’s inside my tote, check out that post.
For this quick trip, I had my wallet, my scarf (I always fly with a scarf because I use it as a blanket), my Airpods, Kindle and MacBook.
In my carry on suitcase…

…I kept my toiletries and clothes…

I have said this so many times before, but I never ever travel without my TOILETRY BAG and my MAKEUP CARRIER FOR TRAVEL. I also always use PACKING CUBES because they really, really do allow me to pack more items in my suitcase, reduce wrinkling, and keep things so organized. In that one packing cube, I had my dress, a jacket, pants, a tank top, and a Vuori jumpsuit (for the flight home).
I also had my Apple Watch charger and curling iron tucked in this side too.

On this side, I have my hairbrush, a lint roller (I wear a lot of black), and one packing cube that had my workout shoes and workout clothes along with undies and a pair of pajamas. I added a pair of booties and heels to round out my outfits.

All zipped up and ready for a dinner, pjs for sleeping, a workout, a full day of conference, and a comfy flight home outfit.
Here are a few other pics…

…from my hotel room, these TARGET PAJAMA SETS ARE THE BEST! I wear a pair just about every single night.
For dinner on the first night…

…I wore THIS DRESS with MY BOOTIES.

The print was very “fall” with fun extra details for a dinner out.
And to the conference…

…so I wore THESE CUTE PANTS and was oh so comfy all day long!

Love!
And that’s a little look Inside My Carry On: BOCA RATON Edition!
Don’t forget, I’m sharing DISNEYLAND & DWTS: PART THREE today too!
Happy Tuesday, friends! xx

My hubby has the same Tumi carry on. You know you can walk in to any Tumi store and get a personalized piece to put over that black patch in the front? He got his initials in silver made the case look so classy.
Love posts like these!
But girl, that’s a large toiletry bag for one night!:)

I keep it packed all the time and only restock as needed. This way, I can grab it for whatever trip, and I know it’s good to go. When I get home from a trip, I’ll replace anything that’s completely run out, put in a new razor and put it back on my bathroom shelf so it’s ready to go for the next one.

I so wish that i could pack this light – even for 1 day. I’m just such an overpacker ugh. Admirable and so efficient! and oh that heel with the pants – love!

The older I get the less I pack!

What size of toiletry bag do you have?
Thank you!
Mix and Match Mama says
Medium!

I have the same packing cubes, however on my last vacation I had zippers break on two of them! Have you had any problems? Are these the only brand that you use or do you have another brand you would suggest as well? It was frustrating not to be able to zip them up…
Mix and Match Mama says
This is the only brand we use, and I haven’t had this happen. So weird?!

Love your Anthro pants! Fellow shorty here…Do you normally get a petite pant? Wondering how you find the length?
Mix and Match Mama says
I don’t, I get the regular length.

Once upon a time, you posted that you travel with a scarf as part of your in-flight essentials. I’m including one ($$$) on my Christmas list. Do you prefer a square or rectangular scarf? A lighter one mixed with silk or a pure wool/cashmere? Any guidance/links are appreciated.
Mix and Match Mama says
Always, always, always! Even if I’m traveling in the heat of the summer, I keep one in my bag because planes can be frigid. I love big rectangular ones the most because you can use them to cover just your lap or pull them all the way up to your chin.

Okay, I have a question regarding your toiletry bag. How do you handle the liquids rule when you carry-on?
Mix and Match Mama says
All of my toiletries inside the bag are small (I typically use all of the “samples” I collect in there), so they all work. You no longer have to put your liquids in a baggie and put it through separately in the US (and in my experience, most international airports as well).
