Andrew and I arrived home from Budapest last night just in time for Lovejoy playoff football! Woohoo!
As we get our lives together this game day, I have my weekly wrap up of favorite things to share with you 🙂 .
You guys…we had the BEST time! I cannot wait to share the pics and details. Spoiler alert, TWO days in a row, we had a run in with one of my favorite movie stars and let me just say, it was the ICING ON THE CAKE of an already fabulous trip. Vacation recaps coming soon 🙂 .

I keep sharing…
…THESE JOGGERS but that’s because I cannot quit them. True story, I wore these on Friday night to Smith’s football game and then came home and washed them just so I could wear them again on the flight to Budapest the next day.
They are like “real” pants even though they’re made from athleticwear material. They have some structure and pockets like an actual pant while being extremely comfy like workout wear.
THESE JOGGERS come in many other colors in regular, petite and tall in sizes xxs to 3x.
I have been wearing them on repeat as well as…
…THESE PANTS too! These are not jogger style (they’re a straight leg). I bought these last year, but continue to pull them out this year too. I packed THESE PANTS for the flight home from Budapest. They’re comfy, they’re light, they have pockets and feel more elevated than a sweatpant or legging while still being “athletic”. They come in other colors and sizes too!

Football season is always a FAVE around our house!
Last week…
…our Boyd Broncos had their last football game on Thursday night. All five Shulls were there to celebrate and cheer on our favorite cheerleader and her friends.
Kensington’s first varsity season has been SO MUCH FUN!
She still has more cheer this year (other sports seasons to cheer for and competitions too), but my heart is so full of emotions because we only have one more football season with her.
This has been an extra fun year for our girl.
On Friday night, the gang was all in Lucas for…
…the last regular season Lovejoy High game (tonight, we have our first playoff game).
We love cheering on that #75!
Smith has also had the MOST FUN this football season! We are going to be sad when football is over for the year.

Since green is my favorite color, I bought this super super soft CHENILLE SWEATER in “everglade” for the holidays, but it comes in 7 other colors including a very Christmas-y red and neutrals too!

I love my new JACKET FROM TARGET! How cute is this buffalo plaid? I bought it in xs, but it does come sizes xxs to 4x. It’s so very festive!

Excited to hear about your trip to Budapest soon! I absolutely LOVE your picture with Smith at football! My son played football for the first time this season for his Freshman HS team and loved it! He played very well too scoring five touchdowns. He can’t wait for JV next year. While scary at times to watch for this Mama, it is always such a joy to see your kids grow and try something new! I can’t wait to hear all about your trip!!!! It looked amazing!!!! Slipper question… after a season of wearing the seasonal slippers, do you toss them? I’ve never purchased those kind of slippers and so I wasn’t sure if they keep for more than one season. I normally wear UGGs… do you not wear your UGGs anymore? I love my UGG slippers and I wear them every single day, but I’m willing to try these new seasonal ones that I keep seeing you wear! I’m adding to cart those reindeer slippers now!

My uggs are on my shelf until January. Last year, I donated my seasonal slippers at the end of the season which is what I’ll do again this year. They make me so happy on my feet!

How do the Athleta joggers compare with the Vuori Performance joggers? I got hooked on the Vuori after reading about them here, and those are what I generally travel in, but they are pretty lightweight. Are the Athleta a bit heavier and better for winter? Or…?? 🙂

Totally different material. The Vuori ones are GOAT in my opinion as they were the first jogger I ever bought and absolutely LOVED. I still wear mine all the time (the original pair I bought so many years ago!), but those are softer, more cotton-y, very light without any zippers, very casual. These Athleta ones are more structured, more like an actual “pant”.

Four million years ago when I was at basic training there was an instructor about your height and a young man about Smith’s height and she would make him squish down so that he was eye level to her when she yelled at him. I felt bad for him but it was funny to look at until she had me come over and explain to the young man why wearing earrings at Lackland AFB during basic training was a really bad idea and although I was taller than her he still had to bend those knees to get to my height too. When I see pictures of you two it is always the first thing that comes to mind.
I know my step son’s loved the day that they figured out that they were taller than I was – their mom and aunts were all taller than me so I was the first “adult” that they were taller than.
I know you are enjoying these days but I have an almost 9 year old granddaughter – how am I old enough to have that happen.

Love my seasonal slippers. I do the same as you with slippers. Ordered a new pair of Ugg ones the other day and my son was like you aren’t even wearing those now. Funny, later as I was putting on my reindeer slippers the other night I sent my son a picture. Lol, he replied back— You are seasonal Mom.

I’m talking about the Oh Snap sweatshirt on Monday. I bought one a couple of years ago (or maybe I bought a dupe?)…or maybe this years is a little different…. I don’t know…. Hi Shay! I had to come back to this post to rave about the CR moisture veil. I have been looking for a good day cream forever and I didn’t do great with CR’s sheer renewal cream for some reason. This moisture veil is a GAME CHANGER. It is so light and easy to put on, and it made my skin glow all day long. And I think my skin has actually improved with use! So, thank you thank you for solving my daily moisturizer “problem”
