Hey, hey, hey!
It’s a TWO POST TUESDAY all about T THINGS!
First up, I have my TRADER JOE’S MARCH HAUL today which has oodles of really great finds this month.
I am also sharing something I am SO EXCITED about here on this Travel Tuesday post.
You guys…

…I am absolutely IN LOVE with MY CARRY ON LUGGAGE.
In. Love.
Brace yourself for a lot of gushing and so many details. This post is absolutely not sponsored, I am absolutely THAT IN LOVE with what I bought.
Consider this my PSA to you should you need REALLY GOOD luggage for carrying on (or not!).

Two of my team members, Shanna and Clare, only travel with their Beis sets. They go all over the world carrying on with just three pieces (here they are headed to Greece with just their Beis!). I have traveled many times with them and been thoroughly impressed by all they fit inside these carry on bags. After our last trip together in November, I decided it was time for me to upgrade and buy a set too.
I bought THE WEEKENDER BAG + THE CARRY-ON ROLLER + THE DOPP KIT.
I bought them all in black, but they each come in a variety of other colors too!
I cannot stress to you what a game changer this was for me on my last flight where I carried on. Do you know what my biggest problem was? I didn’t have ENOUGH to take. I had extra space in my bags. Yeah.
I was so excited about my items to arrive that I made a little video so that you could see all the specifics. It helped me so much seeing Clare and Shanna explain their set to me, so I wanted to do the same for you.
I also took some pics too…

First of all, THE CARRY-ON ROLLER is expandable, but I never had to unzip it to make it larger.

This is what it looks like with the top section unzipped…

…it also comes with this insert zip pouch…

…I was heading to Nantucket, so I didn’t need to pack much. Everything fit with plenty of room.

It includes two foldable bags for dirty clothes…

…these bags were nice and big but folded up small when empty…

All zipped up and ready to go with room to spare!

THE WEEKENDER BAG was EXTRA roomy. I couldn’t believe how much I could fit in this tote. It was roomy, but when I flew back home in the middle seat in economy, it still fit easily under the seat in front of me. No problems.

There is a big soft pocket for laptops and electronics inside THE WEEKENDER BAG.

And plenty of zippers inside too.
The big zipper compartment at the bottom of THE WEEKENDER BAG…

…had enough room for my Sorel snow boots. Yeah.

I snapped a few pics as I started packing it. My MacBook, an actual book, and Kindle fit in the side pock, I have the THE DOPP KIT at the bottom…

Legit, I had too much room which is crazy cool.

THE DOPP KIT is plenty big with a zippered compartment at the bottom as well for extra items.

Loaded up and ready to go!
I showed up to the airport…

…ready to go! Because the tote has a trolley pass through, it sits perfectly on top without falling over…

…when I sat down, I could unzip the tote and easily see everything without even taking it off the THE CARRY-ON ROLLER.
Total. Game. Changer.

I pulled everything with one hand which gave me a free hand for coffee 🙂 .
It’s true love, y’all! I’ve already decided this is going to make a REALLY GOOD gift for a few people I know. If you have a graduate you need to celebrate or a newlywed or Mother’s Day or a birthday or Christmas…it’s so good!
Make sure you watch me explain the little details and specifics in the video. You can hear me gush instead of just reading me gush. Ha!
Also, I have several blog posts about carrying on you might want to check out today too including…

Andrew didn’t get the hype at first about my BEIS SET, but now, he says he wants to borrow it for his next trip 🙂 .
Okay, don’t forget, today, I also have my TRADER JOE’S MARCH HAUL too!
Happy TUESDAY! I’ll see you tomorrow. xx

It would be an excellent gift for me! I’m a person you know, right! 🤣🤣🤣
Seriously though, this is very cool.
Elizabeth Bandera says
Beautiful luggage! Can you carry BOTH on board ?
Elspeth Mizner says

This looks like a game changer! A few questions:
-do you check the rolling one at the gate?
-is there a weight limit when you check at the gate? I noticed your Bible Recap book. I have one too and it is heavy, so I’m curious if carryon weight is an issue like with checked luggage.
Mix and Match Mama says
I didn’t check either at the gate. I carried both on both ways. I always take my Bible and Bible Recap with me whenever I travel. If I check luggage, I’ll put them in there, but if I carry on, I carry them on. There is no weighing of carry on luggage.
Susie says
In Europe there are weight limits for some airlines with carry ons. It will likely be here before too long.
Paula Hobbs says
I’m legit sitting here thinking of where I can go next just so I can order that luggage set!!! How stinking cool!!!!!!!
Mix and Match Mama says
I respect that. 😉
Hayley says
I was just influenced lolol purchased the weekender bag for my upcoming trip to Europe before even getting to the bottom of your review 🤣
Mix and Match Mama says
You are going to LOVE it! What color did you get?
Hayley says
I went with the black too!

I’ve been trying to get my daughter to commit to a Mothers Day present she wants – Her birthday is during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale – so she gets to pick what she wants for that, but Mothers Day is sometimes a struggle. I got a message this morning “I want the pieces of luggage that is on Mix and Match today”. I now have Mothers Day covered. If you could cover me for Fathers Day – my son-in-law is really hard to shop for. Of course he could get the same thing…
Mix and Match Mama says
Yay!! I am going to have to get back to you on Father’s Day though, ha!
Anna says
I was wondering if the weekender bag fits under the airplane seat?
Mix and Match Mama says
Yes! Mine most certainly did! I imagine if you have it filled to full capacity and stuffed with things that don’t move/bend/maneuver when you’re laying it flat, it might not, but mine did with my macbook and all!
Meg says
If it’s packed all the way full, it does not. I’ve tried! I still love it though. The mini weekender fits under the seat even when packed full.
Susan P Fitzpatrick says
Thanks for sharing this. I need a new suitcase because my daughter took mine! Extra space is always a good thing!
Chrys says
Mades being your videographer is the cutest haha. A couple of questions that are NOT related to the luggage though…. 1) Are you using your Oura ring during the day now? I remember when I went back to read your post on it (I was in the middle of deciding to buy one for myself), you mentioned you only used it at night for the the sleep stats. And 2) Are you still using your Apple watch? I still use mine for fitness, but now that I have the Oura ring, I find that I’m okay with using my nice watches more often since my Oura ring is still tracking so much of my fitness and movement and syncing it with the Apple fitness app.
Looking forward to hearing about your Spring break travels soon. Your fitness/ health and travel content are my favorite!
Mix and Match Mama says
My feelings have been fickle about my Oura Ring, but I am wearing it almost all day now. I loved it, I didn’t love it, and now, I’m back to liking it. I still look at my Apple Watch for all of my fitness metrics though and really just rely on Oura for sleep and readiness.

Love this! My daughter is graduating from Penn State in May and this will be the perfect gift. I am also ordering a set for me, too 😉
PS Our family is traveling to New York City and then on to Nantucket the day after graduation. Can’t wait to see your beloved island and travel in style with our new luggage.
Mix and Match Mama says
Congratulations to your sweet daughter! What a wonderful gift AND TRIP!
Krista F. says
Gifting myself the Weekender for sure! Thanks for this great recommendation!!
Mix and Match Mama says
You’ll love it!
Jessie says
Quick question- do you also carry on a purse? Or do you pack a purse and have all the purse things in the weekender?
Mix and Match Mama says
I tuck one in my carry on luggage. There was a little crossbody tucked in my Weekender!
Carol says
Love it! I have also been seeing the vacuum bags ALL over TikTok. I’m wondering if, by using those, I could manage a two-plus week trip to Europe with just this set? Do you have any experience with those vacuum bags?
Mix and Match Mama says
I do not, but I have friends who swear by them.
Dania Duran says
Hi Shay. My family and myself are traveling to Japan. We’re flying business class. My gift to my son and granddaughter. My question: do you and your sweet family always or ever fly business class? I appreciate your time. God bless. Dania
Mix and Match Mama says
The answer is sometimes! We do a variety. I hope you guys have so much fun in Japan!!
Holly C says
I purchased the large and medium size in the color Maple back in January and I so so love!!! I am going back for the weekender next….
Mix and Match Mama says
The maple is GORGEOUS!!
Amy Azza says
You had me at Clare and Shanna. 🙂
Mix and Match Mama says
I am NOT surprised 😉 !
Mindy says
Along with a laptop and book, could a change of clothes fit in the weekender?
Mix and Match Mama says
Absolutely!
Kat says
We love BÉIS! My sister in law works for them so our whole family carries them! Such good quality and so convenient!!
Mix and Match Mama says
Well that is so much fun!
Kristi says
This was a Christmas present for me this year! I got the carry on and medium roller bags, but now I think I need the weekender. We traveled in February and I was in love with how well it rolled!
Cher says
After our last international trip, I decided I needed to find carry-ons that worked better for me as I get older. I had the Beis weekender bag which I was carrying through airports and found the bag too heavy, although I didn’t have a roller bag with me to rest it on. Hopefully, I have found a better option for me in the Minky Couture bag (“Everything Bag — Black”) which is pillowy soft and lightweight with lots of compartments and a large interior. I also recently purchased the small Take-Off 3.0 personal item rolling carry-on from Amazon which I believe is also going to make travel easier for me — it fits into airline personal item sizers (18x14x8 inches). I was having difficulty lifting my old bag into the overhead compartments. I am looking forward to using my new bags soon.
Andrea says
My daughter and I are both obsessed with our Beis luggage. We get so many compliments on it when we travel. Pretty sure my husband spent a lot more on his luggage, but no one looks twice at his. 🤣
Mix and Match Mama says
I BELIEVE EVERY BIT OF THIS!! Bahaha!
Julie says
Is the weekender considered your personal item? I’m wondering if both are allowed to carry on? Love them and really thinking about splurging here
Mix and Match Mama says
Yes! That is correct!
Faith Kapp says
Did you use the small bag for toiletries? I bought the carry on and toiletries bag in maple on Black Friday. I was curious as to how much fit since you normally carry the bigger toiletry bag.
Mix and Match Mama says
Yes, but I didn’t bring very many because I was heading to Nantucket (where I have all of those things). The maple is GORGEOUS!
Patty Crimmings says
I took a 4 day trip to Oregon (visiting
a friend) I would love to have carried just a carry on. But I couldn’t because of my hair products.
Sounds like personal problem. lol
Kacey says
I’ve had my weekender bag for a few years now and it’s my most used bag!! It fits SO much! I have a NOBL rolling carry on, (similar in size to BEIS) and between my NOBL and weekender I fit everything I needed for a week at Disney over Christmas. The bottom pocket of the weekender is my favorite shoe storage spot. My next goal is to configure everything I need for my 2 week trip to Europe coming up in May, but that might be pushing it LOL!
Melissa says
Do you carry a water bottle- and is there a specific pocket or loop for that in the bag?
Mix and Match Mama says
I do not carry one, and I don’t believe there is in the bag. I’m not sure though because I’m never thought about it until just now.
