How about a little Nantucket for our Thursday?
Sounds like a really good plan to me 🙂 .
This upcoming weekend is Daffodil on Nantucket which is something our family really loves…

…but we had some scheduling conflicts and won’t be able to make it this year. Boo.
Andrew needed to go up to Nantucket regardless this month to help get our mobile IV business all squared away for the new season (unboxing equipment, adding new shelves, organizing all of the supplies, scanning all of the equipment/medication in to our system, etc), so when he suggested heading up the weekend before Daffy, Ashby, Mades and I said YES! Kensington and Smith had other plans, so while they stayed home with three dogs, we took Charlie and headed bACK…

…nothing gets us up and out of bed faster than heading to Nantucket. We were at the airport by 5:30 AM ready to go…

…Charlie was extra excited about the trip 🙂 .

Love these two.

I had my coffee and three of my favorite peeps and off we went!
We flew from Dallas to Boston and then…

…Boston to Nantucket 🙂 .
We landed around 2:00, took a cab home and immediately split up to do different things. I told the girls at some point over the weekend they needed to clean out their drawers and closet and take inventory of what no longer fit and what needed to be donated. Ashby started in on that while Andrew went to Marine Home Center to get shelves for the IV business, and Mades and I…

…headed to Bartlett’s Farm for a few things.
While we were there, Andrew called and suggested we swing by Marine Home Center too because they had a lot of new items in stock…

…so that was stop #2 for us.
We came home with one thing…

…that cute “beach people” pillow you see in the background. Sweet Charlie.
Mades worked on her drawers, I worked on mine and before we knew it…

…it was time to head to dinner at Sea Grille!

Delicious! Yesterday, I blogged about COMMUNITY, and it was certainly fun to pop in to Sea Grille and see two different sets of people we knew 🙂 .
On Friday morning, I woke up, did my quiet time, drove to the gym and then came home…

…and the two of us walked to breakfast. We woke Ashby up and asked if she wanted to come too, but she said she preferred us to bring her something and stay in bed. Ha!

We love walking or biking to 45 Surfside. It’s one of those rare spots that is open year around on Nantucket…

…breakfast on the patio with Mades (and Charlie who was under the table).
We walked back, got our donation items and our trash for the dump, and then drove out to toss the trash/recycle and drop off our donation items.
I showered and then did some work while the girls hung out and before we knew it, it was time to meet Andrew for lunch. His goal was to finish scanning in all of the new medical supplies by lunch…and he did it!

Millie’s for lunch is always a good idea.
After lunch, the four of us headed to our storage unit to pull out three of the bikes. Woohoo! We love biking season.
After dropping off the bikes…

…the four of us headed into town. The daffodils were EVERYWHERE on Nantucket. Absolutely gorgeous.

Nantucket in April…

Daffy was already in the air everywhere!
We headed home, cleaned up and later that night…

…we had an excellent table at Lola for dinner.

We had a sleepy start to our Saturday.
After coffee and Bible time, I went for a gorgeous run and then…

…we pulled out our bikes and headed to breakfast!

Delicious.
It was chilly, so we bundled up…

…and headed into town to soak it in a bit more.

Missing my bigs but enjoying the time with my littles.

Never dull around here.

It won’t be long and there will be so many boats in the water!

Our favorite hotel on island looked gorgeous for Daffodil season…

Later that afternoon, we headed to Cisco Brewery for some live music…

…snacks and cards. At this point, I pretty much keep a deck of cards in my purse at all times. Ha!

Our final dinner of the weekend was at Brant Point Grill…

…which is always a good idea…

…it was delicious from start to finish…

Before we knew it…

…we were back at the little Nantucket airport heading back to McKinney. We did not want to leave…but it’s nice to know that the next time we show up, we get to stay awhile 🙂 .
And that’s that.
I hope you have the BEST day, friends! I’ll see you tomorrow. xx
