One week from today is the final “last day of school” for this family, and it has me practically G-I-D-D-Y.

Awwwww, well Mother’s Day was certainly a favorite of mine this week.
I got to go to church with my five favorite people and then spend a lazy, rainy day at home with them.
It was simple, happy, and just us. My fave.
Yesterday was this kid’s…
…last day of school! She celebrated with her school all week long!
On Tuesday, they had field day and her grade wore all purple…
…she was the most excited about her purple hair 🙂 .
It was a SPECTACULAR day for field day! Simply gorgeous outside for our final elementary school field day.
After 12 wonderful years, yesterday, we wrapped up elementary school…
…and just like that, elementary school is done for the Shulls.
The days are long but the years are short. And honestly, the days are starting to get too short for me too.
We have LOVED these last two years at Mades’ school, but she is so excited and so ready to begin next year…
…as a Lovejoy Leopard too!
This girl has LOJO fever and cannot wait to start 6th grade at their intermediate school in August.

No, it’s a public school district, so it starts in kindergarten. She’s ready for a bigger school with more extracurricular options 🙂 .

I love that they have all gotten to “do their own thing”! I have 4 kids and they did mostly the same high school path as there aren’t as many options, but as young adults they have done vastly different things. And whew that 4th one is giving us a run for our money! 😂

I am giddy on this gorgeous Friday in Minnesota! The weather is bright, sunny, and we have so much to be thankful for! I am getting married on September 12 and have my first bridal shower this weekend, hosted by my future-in-laws. I’m giddy, so excited, and have butterflies all over again. 🙂

Happy beginning of summer! I have loved reading all about Nantucket over the years and this year I am taking my family in June! We have 9 grandchildren from 9-1, so there will be 17 of us in all!!!! Will we ever be able to eat together in a restaurant??? Have you ever had a chef come to your home? We are staying in the Dionis area. We may be crazy but we’re so excited!!!
